Nice little Italian spot that locals love. Came for a quick lunch and we were seated quickly. Ordered a sparkling rose and chicken piccata. My mom had to ask for the bread with butter so I'm not sure if it's standard for them to bring it to the tables unless you explicitly ask. Chicken piccata with angel hair was fresh and good. Lemon sauce was tangy and the capers given with the fish were just the right amount. Ate quickly and got the check. Noticed others getting Andes mints with their check but we didn't get any. There is a basket in the front with them but they should be given out to all customers uniformly. That felt a little off so removing stars for that and the bread. read more

Very nicely decorated and well lit. Vibrant feeling as we had a great table for 6 at front of restaurant. We had reservations for a holiday and everything was great. Wonderful hostesses, great server who was knowledgeable and attentive bus people kept the table watered and clean. Fresh bread on the table followed by calamari, stuffed mushrooms and three orders of meatballs. They were all wonderful. The mushrooms were fresh and juicy. Our meals followed. We had two fish fishes that were excellent. Halibut and Swordfish. Very nice and the accompaniments were perfect. Two parmigiana plates, a chicken and an eggplant. They loved them. There was a lamb shank meal that was very good. With a superb yellow risotto. My son said it was great. Cooked right and very flavorful. My meal was the only disappointment. I had the lasagna. I love lasagna and hadn't had it in a while so I was psyched. It was big, with healthy amounts of ingredients. Maybe too many. I didn't read the menu so it's partially my fault but layers had Coldcuts meat in them. Why? This was not for me. I picked at the pasta and the nice red sauce but picked out the cold cuts. I felt like I was eating a calzone/gna. I am a traditional lasagna guy and I judge Italian restaurants a lot in this dish. But today 5/6 plates were awesome. This place is fancy, without being presumptuous. The food was absolutely spectacular. We did not have a reservation (highly recommended) but we got a 4 seater high top in the bar area. Decided to come here night before the road race. Reviews were mixed and I should have listened. We were seated and server came over. We ordered just water and she went over the specials. We waited for a while, and I asked the server for the bread. She says, oh we don't automatically bring it out anymore, you have to ask for it. Its a IFKYK thing. We'll We are in town for the race so we don't know. My wife ordered the Gnocchi special with a big ball of burrata on top. It came out ok, some parts were really cold and some hot. BURRATA was amazing. I ordered the prime rib special, but changed the sides to a side of Tortellini woth a piece of breaded chicken. Prime Rib came out cold and med well. I ordered it med rare. I spoke to the server and she replaced it. It was way better, and was even a bigger piece. I felt the original one wasn't 16oz. My side was ok, chicken was really good. We get the bill and the side of pasta with a piece of chicken was $25.50. Absolutely crazy. read more

Outstanding! Popped in for lunch today, and got a table right away. Medium sized crowd. I had the lobster bisque and she the minestrone. Both were excellent. Artisan bread with butter was very fresh and good too! For luncheon, she had the Caesar Salad and I the special of the day, the lobster BLT with a pasta salad on the side. Ambiance; I really love the layout of this restaurant they do have indoor and outdoor seating it looks very posh. Even though this is a hot and happening spot during the summer it is extremely crowded and the seating is a little like bumper seat cars lol is very congested between tables and high chairs and just people standing around it look like a great spot for happy hour as well Service; our waitress was amazing she was very knowledgeable of everything on the menu she was even able to give us some recommendations and I loved how she was so accommodating to the little child that was with us. It was hard for her to navigate delivering food because of the seating and the layout but she maintained a smile throughout the whole service Food; everything on this menu looks amazing now we'll say this menu has a million things to choose from and if you're anything like me you get overwhelmed with such a massive menu. All the food items that we received on a table came out hot they were very seasoned and vibrant in color just like Mexico. I will say that the rice was a little Bland but when you pair it with the spicy Meats or vegetables there's no complaint there. Overall I will return to this place again I will highly recommend that this is not a place for children just because it is very congested and very tight to sit and children are very antsy and it just seems more like of an adult environment even though kids are there I just wouldn't recommend it read more

Visiting for a few days, this establishment was a must visit. Stopped in for lunch. Seafood minestrone...tell me more. Our waitress said it was more of a stew. Sold! Kate ordered the fish and chips. The minestrone was out of this world. Mussels clams shrimp scallops and scrod. The broth was as exquisite. I rarely use that word, but that's what it was. Kate was and chips were outstanding! The fish had a light batter and was so fresh. Even the tater sauce was unique. I asked the waitress if he made it fresh this morning-"of course" she said, "He makes everything from scratch". House cut fries never hurt your feelings, when cooked to perfection. The prices were some of the most reasonable in all of Falmouth, when you consider that it's all made fresh. It's one thing to build your establishment off of friendly service, it's another to have this compassion translate into the quality of their products. As soon as I saw the chicken limone sitting on that little menu, my heart beat in the most favorable manner. As I waited, I was treated to some crusty white bread, soft enough and very close friends with the filling oil standing by its side. By the time my entree came, my tongue seemed to be in the same vibe as my eyes. A tanginess that exuded elegance, just the same as the dark wood architecture that made up the building, I knew there was no reason for me to deny it. One extra squish of the slice lemon accelerated the zest without being overpowering, all adding up to a meal that was unafraid to express its deepest desire. Parade Sunday, could not have been more spectacular for families in Falmouth. While enjoying the ambiance, eggs Benedict and Stella service from Jameson, a party of six arrived. The head of this family was in a wheelchair and war veteran. They were told no tables were available. I was ready to relinquish my table. At this moment one of the owners Winslow learned of this family and created a table. It was a Christmas miracle, extremely Heartwarming. We had a very disappointing experience. I asked to be seated in the front room instead we were seated in the side room, even though empty tables appeared available, we were crammed in with a view of the kitchen. Our appetizer of bruschetta was a soggy piece of Italian bread with a crust so hard you couldn't cut it with a knife a piece of limp tomato topped with a slice of cheese that was originally melted, but it sat around so long it was cold, it was so bad we asked the waiter to take it off bill. The chicken marsala was salty with what look like brown gravy dumped on top of it, served with a snarl ball of spaghetti also tasteless. Upon leaving my husband attempted to speak with the hostess about our negative experience, but she was uninterested and never looked up from her cell phone. I would not recommend this restaurant, so sorry we wasted our Saturday night in Falmouth there. read more

The food here was delicious. The service was genuinely abysmal. The restaurant seemed to be run by young teens, and our waiter in particular seemed unable to remember the questions we asked him when he returned, did not fill our waters, and generally had an attitude of disdain for our being there (which was odd, considering the money he was going to make off the price of our bill.) I would like to reiterate that the food was delicious, which is why it is still a 3 star. My husband had short rib cacciatore and I had fettuccine Alfredo, both of which were very tasty. read more

Simply delicious! We had reservations and were sat right away. The caprese salad and entrees were awesome, and the bread and garlic oil were amazing. We had the tortellini in pesto and the seafood sauté. Would recommend both. They did inform us that there was a reservation almost 2 hours after us which we appreciated knowing up front instead of feeling rushed out at the end. Had a lovely quiet window seat at lunch, and the entire experience was perfection. The service was impeccable. My Corona was frosty cold, which was delightful. My fettuccine bolognese was huge, which made the surprisingly low price even more unexpected. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce-to-pasta ratio was exactly as it should be. And that sauce! It's really hard to find bolognese sauce that lands just so, but they achieved perfection. And I rarely find bolognese sauce that's even passable to my picky palate. My husband's enormous chicken parmigiana had the tastiest crunchy edges we've ever had, and the amount of sauce was exactly right for the size of the chicken and the generous amount of cheese. we ordered the mussels and the chicken Alfredo. The chicken was processed chicken. not fresh. It had the taste and texture of precooked bagged chicken. It had grill marks on it but Sysco sells a product that fast food companies use. Attached is an example of the chicken we got. We did not take pictures of our food. Not only was the chicken horrible, but the sauce as unseasoned. No garlic, salt or pepper added. Never mind cheese which makes Alfredo pasta an Alfredo. The first clue to the problem with the food was that both dishes came out 7 minutes after we ordered. A chicken breast takes at least 12 minutes to cook. The mussels on the other hand take about 10-20 minutes to make properly. The mussels came out and they added water with squeezed lemon to it. Just absolutely disgusting. Again no flavor or care given to quality. The quality is what I'd expect from an elementary school cafeteri. The other suspect thing to the quality and care of their food was their special for the night. A south western grilled corn salad. Clearly this is not an Italian restaurant anymore. Do not waste your money or your time. For a better dinner try casa Valarta just down the road. We've never had an issue there. read more
