Service was pretty good. Food was filling and great, (they did not give heads up on sausage being an extra charge) The atmosphere was nice and had an old fashioned/retro theme to it. I thought overall this was a great breakfast place to come to here in Yarmouth.

The Hospitality was above excellent. The food we ordered excellent. The Atmosphere was very Pleasant to be in. First time going there and won't be my last. For the size of the place you felt like your in a Restaurant. I recommend anyone looking for a decent diner to try it out. You won't be disappointed Bob and Andrew

What a hidden gem!! It's very small but MUCH MUCH better than all of the much higher priced breakfast places in Cape Cod. The quality is EXCELLENT and very reasonable (for the Cape). The ambiance is quirky retro (you'll see lol) and charming. I had the Florentine eggs Benny and hubby had the sampler with everything including pancakes. Was our BEST breakfast out of the six we had that week. And the lowest bill!! Highly recommend it.

Something about a diner makes breakfast taste better. Throw in awesome service and an extremely low cost, and you've got yourself the Route 28 Diner. Everything we ordered was perfectly fresh and well presented even though we got take out. Their French toast and waffles are perfection. Do not miss out on an opportunity to go here.

Surprisingly good corned beef hash. Eggs and toast were nothing special (not bad, just not memorable) but that corned beef hash was absolutely delicious. Also had a breakfast sandwich. That was also not memorable. Bumped up from three stars to four simply because of the hash.

We used to occasionally go to this restaurant to get delicious lemon poppyseed pancakes and the taco omelette. We went in today and to our disappointment the ownership has changed hands, and so has the menu, now there is nothing unique about it anymore. Our food arrived, the chocolate chip pancakes looked and tasted good according to my son. My husband said that his meat lovers omelette was good. I got eggs, sausage and home fries. The home fries were burnt, yet they served them that way to both of us. Our waitress never came back to see how we were doing or if we needed drink refills. I could let this slide if it were busy, but the 3 waitresses were too busy sitting in a booth chatting amongst themselves to be bothered with us. There was one other table occupied, so no there's no excuse for neglecting customers! After we were done I saw our waitress look back at us and I thought she was going to get up and bring us our check. Nope. After she did it a second time and just turned back around I had to ask for our check. Needless to say I won't be returning. Between the lackluster menu, burnt food and lousy service I don't see the point when there are many other breakfast options in the area.

    Service sucks terrible place

Server not listening to what you ordering awful place. Wrong order they didn't even correct it. Just walking by ask for creamer many time. Ask for anything repeatedly on the table. Your meal will be delayed. Go to dunkin donuts is better service. Also skimped on sides. Runaway from this place new management or old sucks. Coffee tasted like water flavoured. Don't waste your money here. Bad service be aware. Sign says under new management but it's seriously awful experience.

Cayla had "the route 28 plate". Cassidy at "the route 6". I had a 2 egg omelette with sausage and cheese. The bill was $30.03

What can I not say about this place…read more I came here a year ago based off all you fellow yelper's guidance and you're usually 100% correct. I remembered how great of a breakfast I had, that when I went to the Cape again, I made it a point to come back. The counter waitress is unbelievably friendly. She busts her butt and thank god, because it makes everything special. I ordered the Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes with a side of bacon. The medley of sweetness, saltiness and creaminess from the blueberry sauce made with fresh blueberries, ricotta and pancakes all blended nicely. I felt like every bite was heaven. I probably didn't need the bacon, but it was cooked just how I like it... well done! The waitress never let my coffee mug reach the bottom and she was always smiling. I saw some muffins on the wall and almost took home some cornbread jalapeño ones because they looked divine, but somehow I managed to contain myself. The prices were very reasonable. I would definitely like to come back soon!

Parking isn't the greatest and the inside of the restaurant gets pretty warm but man was our food incredible! Because we're at an Irish restaurant of course we had to get corned beef hash. The Keltic Benny came piled with it! I'm not typically a corned beef person but this was amazing. The English Muffin underneath was still perfectly toasted and held everything well. Their home fries were a perfect side and I love when they're crispy! We got the lemon ricotta pancakes for the table to share and they were fluffy but kind of dry. I'd skip and just order anything with corned beef!

All the road work going on MA 28 was also incentive, as we could get there without traveling on it from where we were staying. We were also told several times to get their grilled breads (if you weren't gluten-free, of course). The complimentary coffee in the waiting area was a nice tough as well. It certainly lived up to the recommendations. We had maybe a 3 minute wait for a table on a busy Friday morning. There were lots of specials on the blackboards on the side wall. Coffee came out quickly; it was piping hot and mellow, with very frequent refills. I did try the bread, an apple-cranberry, grilled/toasted medium with a pat of butter for extra yum. I opted for the hash Benedict with fruit instead of potatoes. I got potatoes by mistake anyway, but they immediately brought over the fruit. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the Hollandaise was flavorful, and the hash was crisp and not greasy at all. Now it's my turn to be a good friend and pass the recommendations forward for others.

Parking proved somewhat challenging, as it is at the rear of the coffee shop, potentially making patrons feel somewhat confined or trapped. Nonetheless, pedestrians can access the shop easily straightforward walk-up.
