    Chicken Piccata

This is really a hidden gem! I had the Caesar salad with a delicious blackened salmon! The croutons were very crunchy & tasty! Hubby had the chicken parm & he really liked it! One daughter had the cheese ravioli and the other daughter had the chicken piccata. The chicken for the piccata was not breaded. It was boiled/steamed and she enjoyed it very much. The broccoli & green beans were deliciously seasoned! The risotto had a strong white wine taste, but she still enjoyed it. It was too strong for me, though. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any decaf cappuccino; only regular. They were out of 3 chocolate desserts, which was also disappointing bc the fam are chocoholics! Lol! . We had the lemon cake which was very light & really hit the spot! Our server was Sarah & she was fantastic! Very sweet & super attentive! I really liked the ambiance here, too. They have some really beautiful pictures of Italy and a very warm decor. We will definitely return!

Sorriso Ristorante has a long history of serving great menu food from Southern Italy. The longtime owner Artie Greco, who manages many restaurants in the Southwest suburbs, passed along his secrets to his daughters who now operate a legacy restaurant location in Mokena that doesn't disappoint. The steak is always perfect. The pastas are perfect. And the sides including the baked clams are so tasty. s it's always a great experience and the food is phenomenal. it's very popular so i would get their early. This is the place for authentic Italian foods.

2 Fliet Migons well done, veggies & garlic mashed potatoes

Service was great, bread is a 10/0, and food was amazing. The only thing is i wish dinner came with soup or salad. Otherwise it's DELICIOUS! Vibe is great too.

2nd year in a row we chose Sorriso for Mothers Day and just like last year it was fantastic. My wife had the Chicken Piccata and I was just about to order Veal Parm but decided to try something new. I had the Pappardelle pasta with their Bolognese sauce. I tender beef tips in it which were great. The pasta was like nothing I can remember and melted in my mouth. My raved about her meal and it elicited a few Mmmmm's from her. I had a Tito's Mule and she had a glass of Cab to go with it which were both good. Sorriso is our go to place and we live 32 miles away in Indiana but there is a legacy of really great food and service they have and it's displayed every trip there. Oh and our server was very nice and attentive!

Angel Hair Pasta with Meat Sauce. No soup or salad offered with any dinners. This was $17.

Great Italian, good service in a quiet neighborhood spot. I often get chicken Parm. Enough for two or dinner tomorrow!

Has the service improved, seems to be the biggest issue?

Having only been there three times its hard to say but the last time we went a few weeks ago was good

    You open tonight?

    They should definitely be open!

Upon arrival seated immediately and served complimentary refreshments. Noticed a few other occupied tables including myself. Cute tidy restaurant. Locals and newcomers enjoyed the scene. Atmosphere had dimmed lighting with small accent Italian cultured decor aligned the walls. Very intimate and comfortable evening. My waitress named was Becca. She was very polite. Knew the menu well and even gave her favorite suggestions of entrees. She made sure I was comfortable the entire night and gracefully just served. I ordered the Dana's spaghetti, Caesar salad and for my appetizer I ordered the Bruschette con Spinaci which consisted mozzarella, fresh diced tomatoes, sautéed spinach and basil! So delicious! Everything was tasty and fresh! Definitely enjoyed the menu and outing. Good food great company and quality food! Always a great night! Check em out!

They also serve bread to start, which was extremely flavorful. Our table tried a variety of appetizers: bruschetta, salad, calamari. And for my entree, I got the carbonara. All very filling and delicious! One thing I thought was strange is they add a 3% surcharge to the bill that you can ask to have removed. I find that odd and unfortunately a bit deceptive. Still 5 stars!

This is a hard 4.5 star rating on its way to the 5. My first…read morevisit I wanted to grant the 5 star rating, although, I had to hold back to be fair. I know it'll be there by my next visit, which will be soon. A seller for me is homemade pasta with an option for gluten free. If it was organic it's a hard 5. No judgement though. Frankie's is the spot where you park up by 3:45/3:50 and wait for the doors to open as their hours are short, hot and sweet. This is a tucked away spot packing tons of flavor on the small menu(major hit). Locals pack this spot asap at the bar so be there by 3:45. Haha. The restaurant has nice decor and attentive friendly service. As the server comes to the table with heavy greetings, they run down the special menu. Drinks are always good, nothing intricate but enough to elevate the experience and hit hard. The appetizers are good. I enjoyed the calamari and shrimp as well as the octopus. But now to the star of the show is their pastas. FRIENDLY REMINDER, all are homemade. The Pappardelle w/ Wide Ribbon Pasta, Black Truffle Cream Sauce and Mushrooms is amazing.. I added the gluten free meatballs and yummy. A savory bite. The rigatoni vodka sauce(added sausage) was a hit. Another star of the table was the Linguine w/ Shrimp,Broccoli, Evoo and Garlic. A fully loaded plate. The Gnocchi w/ Ricotta Cheese Filling, vodka sauce.. added meatballs was another hit. The star of the show was our pizza which resembles a meat lovers with pepperoni, Sopressata and Giardiniera (which is more like a relish and I love). I've had other dishes but after multiple countless visits this is what I love at this time. The pizza is cooked in a high heat oven which gives the perfect char, let it settle for a couple minutes as it sits on the table. Overall, when in this part of Illinois hands down the place to be. Hours are only 4-9pm and that says a lot. My only insight would be ask for the bread to be served warm. I'm sure a fresh loaf in the pizza oven for a couple of minutes will go a long way. ENJOY!
