    Chicken Piccata

This is really a hidden gem! I had the Caesar salad with a delicious blackened salmon! The croutons were very crunchy & tasty! Hubby had the chicken parm & he really liked it! One daughter had the cheese ravioli and the other daughter had the chicken piccata. The chicken for the piccata was not breaded. It was boiled/steamed and she enjoyed it very much. The broccoli & green beans were deliciously seasoned! The risotto had a strong white wine taste, but she still enjoyed it. It was too strong for me, though. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any decaf cappuccino; only regular. They were out of 3 chocolate desserts, which was also disappointing bc the fam are chocoholics! Lol! . We had the lemon cake which was very light & really hit the spot! Our server was Sarah & she was fantastic! Very sweet & super attentive! I really liked the ambiance here, too. They have some really beautiful pictures of Italy and a very warm decor. We will definitely return!

Sorriso Ristorante has a long history of serving great menu food from Southern Italy. The longtime owner Artie Greco, who manages many restaurants in the Southwest suburbs, passed along his secrets to his daughters who now operate a legacy restaurant location in Mokena that doesn't disappoint. The steak is always perfect. The pastas are perfect. And the sides including the baked clams are so tasty. s it's always a great experience and the food is phenomenal. it's very popular so i would get their early. This is the place for authentic Italian foods.

2 Fliet Migons well done, veggies & garlic mashed potatoes

Service was great, bread is a 10/0, and food was amazing. The only thing is i wish dinner came with soup or salad. Otherwise it's DELICIOUS! Vibe is great too.

2nd year in a row we chose Sorriso for Mothers Day and just like last year it was fantastic. My wife had the Chicken Piccata and I was just about to order Veal Parm but decided to try something new. I had the Pappardelle pasta with their Bolognese sauce. I tender beef tips in it which were great. The pasta was like nothing I can remember and melted in my mouth. My raved about her meal and it elicited a few Mmmmm's from her. I had a Tito's Mule and she had a glass of Cab to go with it which were both good. Sorriso is our go to place and we live 32 miles away in Indiana but there is a legacy of really great food and service they have and it's displayed every trip there. Oh and our server was very nice and attentive!

Angel Hair Pasta with Meat Sauce. No soup or salad offered with any dinners. This was $17.

Great Italian, good service in a quiet neighborhood spot. I often get chicken Parm. Enough for two or dinner tomorrow!

Has the service improved, seems to be the biggest issue?

Having only been there three times its hard to say but the last time we went a few weeks ago was good

    You open tonight?

    They should definitely be open!

My friend and I visited for Saturday lunch and it wasn't crowded. We were able to sit where we wanted which was nice. For drinks, I got a French Martini and she got a Dirty Martini. Both were delicious and served in beautiful glasses. We later shared an espresso martini. The server asked if we wanted cream in it; get the cream. We definitely second guessed ourselves with being asked; but thankfully, it was easy to add in after the fact. For food, we shared some bites. The Caesar Salad was the most underwhelming items but we thoroughly enjoyed everything else. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts and Truffle Fries were my favorites. The boneless wings were good but we got sauces on the side. My Garlic Parm sauce wasn't my favorite but my friend enjoyed her Spicy Garlic sauce. Overall, this is a great spot in Downtown Frankfort to get together with a big group, enjoy a date night, or catch up with friends. They have a good variety of good and drinks as well as a fun atmosphere. Definitely recommend visiting when in the area!

They really need to put a sign on the building by the stairwell or on the stairs because it's confusing looking for it. It seems like we're walking to the roof or someone's apartment and doesn't feel like a public business. We tried going before to check it out but it was st Patrick weekend and it looked like party or bar crawl and packed. We came back this past weekend and it was better but did look like one party was wrapping up on bar side but it was all adults with a couple kids of theirs laying on the couches. I would say this place is best for adults only honestly. As a mom I won't bring my daughter here and we can go bowling elsewhere but for myself I will 100% be back. I love that everything is themed and some original things inside but the water damage, rust, and mold is badddddd. Can't put lipstick on a pig and with people having health issues this is a big no no for people with mold illness or autoimmune diseases. The lanes are looking original and I don't think I've ever seen the ball returns like that so it was cool and vintage but dangerous lol. The balls come back SO fast and they were flying off the rack. Not really safe. The lanes were warped and uneven and didn't seem waxed so I sucked at bowling no matter what I tried. It was $45 an hour plus shoe rental was maybe $3 each? We got cocktails and apps. There could be more appetizers on the list but the dip was okay and my margaritas were great. We got two games and like 4 frames in an hour with two adults. We were really just trying to relax and have fun so the bowling and prices were expected and just whatever that day. I don't ever treat myself or drink much anymore and gladly was spending it on those. Not really a fan of how awkward the combined lanes are and the people who were there first had us basically walk into their date with all of their food on the table for us to sit over because it was so small and somehow supposed to share tables. They picked all their food and drinks up and moved them and stood to eat to give space between us. Literally all the lanes were open and they put us with them at the end together. Odd. The workers were all nice but there was a lot of workers and no one was really working? A bunch of them were talking in the chairs behind the lanes and the bartenders were talking to each other. Our waitress said her shift was ending/ wanting us to close our tab out as soon as our game ended and we said that's fine we can go up to the bar and keep chatting/ drinking. But she never left so we thought maybe they wanted our lane even though all the others except one were open but no one took our lane after.. The bartenders were talking to each other a lot and lacked eyes on the bar. The bar back seemed super young and out of it and didn't ask if we needed something or wanted to grab the bartenders even though he could hear us and we were staring at him and the bartenders. Whatever still enjoyed our time and the bartender came and brought me another drink. The 2nd drink she repeated it and then brought me a 3rd drink that was completely different but it was still good lol. The bathrooms are cute and clean. The dining side is probably better than the bowling side. The bar is cool. Overall liked it but seems like kids are running the place and could use some tweaks. 10/10

We originally learned about the biscuits and gravy because we stopped in the afternoon before to try their corned beef and Reuben sandwiches, so I'll touch on both. On Friday we arrived right at 9:00 AM, when they opened. Beth was also the bartender that morning. There were already a few people at the bar and a couple of tables occupied, which is always a good sign. We knew right away we were in for a treat after Beth welcomed us with her fun personality. I noticed a large jar behind the bar filled with Tito's vodka and a serious amount of peppers. My immediate thought was that it would make a great base for a morning Bloody Mary, and I was absolutely right. After ordering a couple drinks, we both ordered the biscuits and gravy, which also came with scrambled eggs and bacon. The gravy was very tasty and not overly spiced. The bacon was crispy, and the eggs were fluffy and served hot. By the time we were ready to leave, Beth had a full house, yet she handled everything perfectly. I forgot to take pictures the day before of the corned beef and Reuben sandwiches, but both were excellent. The great staff, friendly crowd, good food, and reasonably priced drinks make this a place we'll want to visit again and again.
