Came here for a work lunch and didn't make a reservation. No problem getting a table for nine. Only eight of us showed up but that was not a problem. One of my former co-workers had a saying, "if you've been to one Tex-Mex restaurants, you've pretty much been to all of them!". Although there's some truth to that, but service and food quality could make a big difference. And the first test? The chips! If you've been to any Tex-Mex restaurants, then you know they always give you some complimentary chips and salsa. Some restaurants will cheap out and give you one of those super thin, super easy-to-break chip. Pretty much you dip it in the salsa or queso and it breaks. Well, not here! They give you one of those thicker chips that you could actually use to scoop your salsa and/or queso. Score one for Soto's! And now let's talk about the service. Although only one server was assigned to our table, this dude didn't miss a beat! Always on point with everything and was super friendly toward everyone at the table. I can't remember his name, but it was a bald dude with what looked like a small tiny tattoo on his face. He was awesome!! Now the most important thing is obviously the food, right? I had the Summer Steak, which seemed to be the most popular item on the menu: fajita steaks with grilled pineapples on top, drizzled with some chimichurri sauce. Although the steak didn't really 'wow' me, but I thoroughly enjoyed my steak. It was cooked to the doneness I had asked for and the chimichurri sauce was good. I also had the flan for dessert (they were out of Tres Leches, which was what I really wanted) and I thought it was a really good flan. As for my co-workers, one lady in particular was raving about everything that she had tried so there's that. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back here for lunch (they offer lunch specials) or for some Tex-Mex if I happen to be in the area outside of work hours.

I have mixed emotions about this place. Food was great but I was not thrilled with the service. The restaurant is nice and decorated well. The fajita meat is delicious and the enchiladas were ok. Our waitress was not great and continued to sway my review on this place. We were a party of 10 and apparently that was too much for her. First I dropped my silverware in front of her by accident. Naturally they will bring another or remove. So I noticed that. Then I ordered a cheese enchilada and they gave mine to someone else at the end of the table. When he said he had the wrong enchilada she came around to check all our plates and told him I had it. I already started to eat it. What was she expecting?...me to give my already bitten enchilada to him? I didn't know him like that. Instead of offering he had to ask her to fix, she brings the right one and charged him for both at the end. That was her mistake! Next my husband ordered a margarita and instantly went to stir and had a hair in it! We called the manager over to tell him. He apologized and went to remake himself. I watched. Naturally I have seen restaurants comp the item. He did not. I am legit checking everything after that. Next our third family asked for fajita in the kids quesadilla. They received a cheese quesadilla. So when they mentioned it was supposed to have fajita, instead of fixing it she brought a side plate of fajita meat and charged her an additional $10 for the fajitas on top of the kids quesadilla. The meat was supposed to be melted into the cheese not on the side. Lastly I had a hard time getting refills on my coke. Soda is simple. So I may give it a try again as it was recommended and our other guests are regulars and said this was a one off. I do love their chips but NOT their salsa. Charro beans are good too and hubby liked quesobirria. The coke was crispy at least. Try for yourself I say.

I had the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas at lunch. Included 2 enchiladas, rice and VERY fresh greens with sliced radishes and very lightly (but just right) dressing. The sour cream sauce was rich and creamy and the white meat chicken was done right - tender and not over cooked. The sauce was wonderful with the rice. Only "negative" and not really, is I don't prefer the chips (corn is a bit coarse) Salsa - fresh and very much like pico de gallo. I prefer a little more chile! Overall, a really great lunch and a good value Noe was a really polite, attentive and prompt server. As always the place was clean and fun feeling - good music and ambiance. There is an outside area but you have Little York to contend with.

My parents live in the neighborhood. I had been eyeing this restaurant for its great reviews. We were five. I wasn't hungry but had suggested the place. Alba, the waitress, was great. The decor is beautiful. The music is more Caribbean than Mexican. Alba have me a sample of the fresh squeezed limeade. I decided to order it. You get one refill, but I didn't take advantage of it. My cousin loved his burrito. I didn't eat nor try the chips as I had had lunch earlier. I want to go eat there as they have unique enchiladas with mole, queso fresco, and plantains. They have a private room that you can reserve for free and bring your own music.

We've gone numerous times to the original on Grant road and absolutely love it! The new location is so beautiful and full of Mexican art! The hostess was really kind and welcoming. The margaritas are fantastic, the chips and salsa are delicious! The queso flameado was fantastic. The bean and cheese empanadas were stale, but otherwise all the appetizers were great. We ordered the summer steak and a combo meal. The steak is so juicy and flavorful, it almost just melts in your mouth! We finished off our meal with flan and sopapillas, both were fresh and delicious! One of my favorite Mexican restaurants!

Great ambiance with tasty food & culture rich. The fajitas a covered with a special butter, a must try. Fast service.

I come here often for drinks + great food and never leave with anything less! Drinks are AMAZING, ambiance 10/10! Food is tasty and comes out quickly! Chips + Salsa are to die for! Noe provides excellent customer service and is very conversational, he makes my visit pleasant every time I come.

    Happy hour drinks

You walk in and the place is BEAUTIFUL. It's spacious & the art? BREATHTAKING! Ismael made me a frozen margarita that I could've just inhaled it was so perfect lol. Their happy hour menu isn't pricey & the beef fajita street tacos were so good & fresh along with the side of Charro beans they come with. The service was outstanding, attentive and welcoming. I will be back :)

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!
