    Chicken Gyro Bowl
    Gracie L.

I tried one of their other locations for the first time a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love. Because the Soulard location is closer to my neighborhood, I decided to check this one out on a Friday night. I placed my order on their website around 5 PM, and everything was sitting on a shelf in a plastic bag ready to go when I arrived inside about 20 minutes later. I ordered exactly what I had at the other location: chicken gyro bowl with feta cheese and no tomato. However, my meal at the other location was so much better! Many of the pieces of chicken in my bowl this time were burnt and borderline charred. Also, I instantly noticed that the pickled cabbage was missing, which was a bit disappointing! The pickled cabbage adds more flavor to the bowl than you'd think. The pita bread that comes with the bowl was soft and delicious. My meal definitely wasn't bad, but I wish it tasted just as good the last time I had it!

Chicken Gyro with Spicy & Garlic Tzatziki

Stopped into Soulard Gyro for lunch - really the only time they're open so don't plan to come here for dinner because it's closed haha The vegetables and pita were all fresh - I enjoyed their Tzatziki sauce (the spicy is not spicy at all but the garlic one is garlicky). I did a mix of both Tzatzikis. I had a bite of my friend's lamb/beef gyro - it was very salty but had a lot more flavor than the chicken. I would probably try that next time! The chicken gyro wrap was a lot bigger than the standard gyro in a pita - that also looked good!

First time eating at this restaurant and we were very impressed with the quality of our gyros. I had the Cali Gyro and it was excellent in flavor and size. My wife had the Chicken Gyro and she couldn't stop complicating the flavor. The service was excellent however, it's an order and pickup at the counter which works for me just fine. The inside decor was nice and clean. Highly suggest visiting this establishment if you like Mediterranean cuisine. We will be back!!!

Favorite Gyro spot in STL. This family owned Gryo company has been fantastic and accommodating ever visit. I used to frequent their old location over off of 12th, and just started coming to their new spot closer to Broadway. The new location is great, much more space in their kitchen and a more updated environment. But honestly, I don't come back for the atmosphere I come back over and over again for the quality of food plus great customer service. From the doner, gyro or the bowl I had last visit you really can tell the ingredients are fresh and top quality. They also give HUGE portions so always have leftovers and I am not complaining. I came by toay to try their cali Gyro....cuz I love avacados and bacon so I assume it can only make anything it's served with better and I was not disappointed. Nom nom nom on all the food

The food is always delicious. The girl working the counter is always polite and knowledgeable. The inside dining is the typical cafe style. Nothing fancy. Hidden gem for sure.

Recently visited here for the first time ever and loved it! Ordered online and it was easy! My chicken gyros plate was delicious and I will definitely be back! Yum!

    Gyro Salad, Spicy Tzatziki Dip

Ordered this for delivery. I got the gyro salad with spicy tzatziki sauce. The gyro meat was cold. Not sure if this is normal or because it was for delivery. But wither way, would have been much better if the meat was warm. Pita bread was delicious. The spicy tzatziki sauce wasn't spicy. The consistency was very thin which I was not a fan of. Overall this meal was just okay and underwhelming.

After having the Philly gyro you'll be hooked. This is the best gyro I've ever had. They've opened up couple new locations but the one in Soulard is my favorite.

Traditional gyro & bag fries to go.

The best gyros you will have in or near the STL area. Food is authentic, and the owner/lady that runs it really knows what's up when it comes to Flavor. Fries....even the fries are amazing. How? They are just simple French fries, yet so perfectly crispy, salty & delicious. Oh lord, I have to have another gyro, today. Writing this has done me in.

There aren't many gyro shops in St. Louis, but what we lack in quantity we make up with in quality with this Soulard institution! The menu here, as you might imagine, centers around their delicious rotisserie gyro meat, cooked and seasoned perfectly. I am a sucker for the doner kebob and get that sandwich almost every visit. It's served covered in feta and tahini and wrapped up nicely with lettuce and tomato and onion in their absolutely delicious pita-like bread. Park on-street and you can eat inside the shop or stroll over to Ponticac Park and make yourself a little picnic! One thing I wish they'd offer is fresh brewed iced tea, would be a perfect pairing. :)

I've been looking for a great gyro place and I am so happy I was able to visit this one today. Their classic gyro hit the spot! The place is a great place to stop in and have lunch!! Just trust me and try it!!

Can you find the gyro meat?

I'll be up front and disclose that I AM NOT A SALAD PERSON. The closest form of a salad that I eat would be a chicken Caesar wrap laden with dressing and cheese and carbs with probably 2000 calories. That said, boy was my elote salad at Neon Greens enjoyable. It is a lil pricey but worth it once I dug in and really enjoyed myself and learned more about the shop and their mission. They grow everything themselves - so cool. I love the friendly employees and the really really fresh greens and combinations. I got the cheese bread but was really close to ordering the soup instead. I'll skip the bread and try the soup next time. No matcha soft serve available the day that I went.

You walk into this older building and it just opens up into this bright, clean, almost energizing space . I went with the Umami Crunch with tofu and... yeah, this is the kind of place that makes you realize how rare a really good salad is. Like, when do you ever eat a salad and think, "the lettuce is incredible"? That happened here. Everything tasted fresh in a way that's hard to explain unless you've had it. And then you find out why--they literally have a hydroponic farm attached. Not just for show either... they do tours, and a lot of what you're eating is coming straight from there. It makes the whole experience feel different in the best way. The portions are huge, super filling, and still somehow feel light and clean. I also grabbed a local blue spirulina kombucha that ended up being one of the best I've had. If you keep wandering toward the back, it turns into this almost maze-like space, and on weekends they do a pop-up called Biscuit Town with breakfast items (including vegan options). It just keeps going. Honestly, I walked in craving a REALLY good salad and left wondering why it's so hard to find places like this. This is one of those spots you go to once and immediately know you'll be back.

Super filling and flavorful. My friend got the smoked beet sandwich and you can really taste the smokiness and it was like a vegetarian BBQ. Another friend did the soup and sandwich combo and loved it. Our server was really sweet and forgot a couple things but honestly given how slammed they were I completely get it. The bread lives up to the hype. Definitely a must if you're in the area and want a really solid lunch.
