I don't know who was on the grill tonight but my brother and I ordered two medium rare burgers. My brother immediately takes a big bite of his and swallows, looks at his burger, was immediately disgusted and asked me to check my burger. This is RAW, not medium rare or rare.

I got the Sazini and subbed the roscoe dressing with chipotle. It's so good. You don't even understand how good until you try it for yourself. It's not oily or messy either which is great. I'm actually hooked on Souper Fry now. Highly recommend!!!!!!

On Friday, August 2 I stopped in for dinner and I've done many many times over the years and always had good food and good service, unfortunately, this time was not that. After purchasing my food, I walked out to my truck and started to have some of what I bought because I was embarking on a long ride to upstate New York & One of the soups that I got had a very odd and funny and tasted like Flour, not good.... So MINUTES after purchasing, I went back inside and told the young man at the counter as I put down the fill to the top soup container down, that it did not taste right , And asked to exchange for something else He said no, you cannot return food And I said it did not taste right and I just bought it minutes ago He said you have to pay for another one I told him what I wanted , and he gave me the price And I looked at them and I said are you sure about this? Charging me for this.??? And once again he repeated, you cannot return food items , during this , I was speaking very softly in the store, so nobody heard about my displeasure with the soup, and out of respect for the establishment I kept it very quiet , I handed my credit card to pay for another soup and said to him softly, you're making a big mistake . He took my card, ran it. And just walked away This young man should not be handling customers at the front counter , I am a Merrixk resident and have been going there since it opened, and now think I will never go back there ever again I want to put two pictures of my g

Wanted to like this place so bad...but they just fell completely short. Our first and probably our last time there. The sazini, which they are "known for," was honestly just terrible - to the point where my boyfriend and I threw it out. It was extremely oily (as shown in the picture attached). We couldn't tell the difference from the chicken cutlet to the bacon or the cheese - it all just tasted like pure grease. I took one bite and that was enough for me. The Kama was alright. We ate that first and didn't particularly enjoy it, but after biting into the sazini it was much, much better than initial thought. The best part of the meal were the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon maple dipping sauce. Would definitely recommend this combo! Also, not the warmest welcoming environment either for our first experience there. Overall, just a very awkward vibe and very sad experience after all these great reviews. Unsure what went wrong tonight.

We came to this cute restaurant for lunch in September, I've been lazy about writing the review It's a nice very open bright restaurant. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Chiquis Wrap (Grilled chicken, Arugula, roasted red peppers, Goat cheese, fig glaze). it was delicious. The chicken was flavorful & tender with tangy goat cheese. S ordered the Judge Wrap (Braised short ribs, sweet & sour onions relish, muenster cheese, baby spinach, Roasted Garlic herb aioli). This was also delicious with tender beef & a scrumptious garlic aioli. We shared an order of the sweet potato fries....... I love sweet potato fries with a mayo/ketchup mixture. Overall this is great place for lunch or dinner. There are some great soup options that I can't wait to try when the weather is cooler I highly recommend Souper Fry and can't wait to go back for our next scrimp meal

This place has come back with a vengeance! When I heard that Souper Fry were back in the neighborhood I jumped for joy. There is nothing here I do not love. Where do I even begin... Their hand cut fries. You get a generous amount in a paper bag and they are down right delicious. Don't forget to try some of their dipping sauces. My usual is the roasted garlic. I could put that sauce on anything and everything. Next is their wrapinis - a wrap warmed and pressed to dare I say it...a sandwich? My favorite is the Kama with roast turkey, Brie, Granny Smith apples and honey mustard. A close second fav is the Sanzini of course. My last visit there, they were not accepting cards, so I would have cash on hand just in case. Soooooo happy this place is back in town and I can't wait for many more visits.

This little slice of heaven is in the heart of the Bellmore Merrick central high school district and has been making the most banging wraps and food I have ever eating since I was in high school. Known for their almighty Sazini which is chicken cutlets, melted mozz, bacon, and roscoe sauce one of the greatest creations known to man! But they are also known for their duhhh their soups! Which change day to day as well as their wraps, burgers, Knishes, quesadillas, and chopped salads! Souper fry brings a sense of street, and fine cooking to Long Island that is completely a world of its own, and has a sense with the community with good food, great people running it, and smiling faces and that means a lot these days. See you there!

My friend and I have now had the exact same experience with this place: they have the most erratic hours making A restaurant or food service business ridiculously managed. What in the world would possess someone from running a restaurant that is open daily with a one-hour closed period From 4 o'clock to 5 o'clock? [what is this, Italy?] The amount of people like ourselves that they must turn off, most of which I imagine never return, has to be large. It's no wonder I remember a time that they were going to close and go out of business. I believe, driving by and seeing them re-opened, is the only reason why I thought to try again. But of course I arrived at 4:45. The place had several people in it eating, including I suppose the manager who thought nothing of holding up five fingers and mouthing "five" to me. I had no idea what that meant, but I came to yelp to complain, and that's where I discovered this information. Well of course I am not going to return; call in spite but this is ridiculous. Nobody needs french fries, soup or pressed sandwiches that much that they would put up with such idiocy. Good riddance

I LOOOVE the Charlooch, which is a cheeseburger on a glazed donut bun. I know, it sounds gross, but try it. The wings are really good, quesadillas awesome. The Commack Kerri is my favorite wrap, the only thing I don't like is the....FRIES! How can you be called Souper Fry but the french fries are a soggy, flavorless mess? The only thing they need to fix is the french fries. Pretty please? That would make me come way more often. read more

Holy crap Souper Fry. What can I say about this place. The Sazini is the (.)(.)'s let me tell you. The fries taste like golden goodness. If you go, I suggest you get the Sazini, they make all of there food fresh on the spot. The big guy with the beard and glasses is very friendly with a wonderful sense of humor, despite his intimidating structure. Curly seemed a little slow, but you can tell hes a hard worker none the less. This one character who was shorter than the big guy but fairly unremarkable otherwise was extremely pleasant in a moderately seductive way. I could feel my sexuality being questioned as I stared into this man's big blue eyes. They had another kid who seemed very young and looks just like McLovin'. Im assuming he was the delivery driver because as i sat, enjoyed the comical staff and delicious food he must have delivered to three different places in about 18 minutes(THATS WHAT I CALL SERVICE!) as i ate my food, not to mention the rad music choices that play as you wait or eat. Love this place and the vibe it throws off. I highly recommend you experience the food and laughs it may just change your views on small independent places such as this! read more

Place is a great little sandwich shop my friend took me to and glad he did. The wrapinis are great. You do wait a little long if you for your order if you don't call but it's well worth wait. All the soups are fresh. My favorite Wrapini is the Kommack Kerri. The fries are ok. A little soggy but overall great place to check out for a sandwich read more

My favorite spot in all of Merrick, EVERYTHING is absolutely delicious. Place is always packed when I go, but service is quite fast. Had the food delivered once or twice and everything came hot and fast. The sazini is out of this world, jackadilla is great too and the fries remind me of five guys, crunchy and fresh every time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their baked potato soup and Aztec chili are my favorite from this spot I order them every time. Don't miss out you'll love this place read more

I like this place, the wraps are great and so are the wings. Great selection of dipping sauces, garlic aioli is the best. Commack Kerri, the Sazini and Wifey speaks Thai are great choices. Get small fries, they give you a ton. read more

When you drive all the way from Canada just to stock up on their Gumbo soup, then you know it's the best thing around. My wife was the first to discover this place, having read all the good reviews this place got. So we decided to give it a try. Our first visit, we got the paninis (I got the My Wife Speaks Thai) and fries with the roasted garlic aioli ( a long list of sauces), and the wasabi based one. THeir servings were not only very generous, but the price was amazing. For me, it's never about quantity (although it is a bonus) but quality, and Souperfry definitely doesn't disappoint. Everything tasted fresh. Don't get me started on their Gumbo soup. Let's just say that I called ahead and picked up 6 of their largest size, and then called the next day and cleaned them out of the Gumbo again. When they ran out of Gumbo, I decided to see if they had any other soup that could compare. I tried the Shrimp and seafood fra Diablo, and their Split Pea and Bacon. Wow. Both were amazing. I'm a big fan of thick soups, so I got myself a large Split Pea, in addition to the 4 large Gumbos to take back with me to Canada. The owners/staff are really nice and polite. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area, or have an appetite! read more

Hey this place is A+. Great food. Service was fast and friendly. Jon is AWESOME. I highly recommend the pulled pork (Jack & Boone). Its outrageous. Possibly the best lunch spot on Long Island. Pricing was more than fair for what we ordered, and I would consider definitely going back to try more of their menu items, as well as recommending others to give them a try. Upon walking in, there was a strong odor that yo me smelled like the oil they use to fry foods with, that maybe in some other locations you can pick up on it, but this was strong enough that if I were ordering food & not just a coffee, I wouldn't have been able to eat it there. It was morning so breakfast was available, but I only ordered a coffee. It seemed like the staff was all young, college age, and they had the work ethic to go along with it. Quite a few delivery drivers were waiting for their orders, I saw a few people come and go with big orders as I was waiting for just a coffee for 10 minutes. I even saw one customer notice their order number on a bag sitting in the back that he actually had to point it out to the staff to give him so it wouldn't keep sitting there.

The potato chips w garlic aioli was also great. The house salad was HUGE and was plenty to share with 2 or 3. Parkview's sandwich game is on point! The Reuben is HUGE, corned beef is nicely shaved so it was easy to eat. The French Dip also had the beef shaved down nicely, perfectly balanced sandwich served with an excellent au jus! The blue burger was cooked perfectly with a bun that can handle all the meat along with the blue cheese, bacon jam and frizzled onions. Again the portions were all huge and we took home 4 heavy containers of leftovers that we all look forward to enjoying again tomorrow. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. All the staff were very nice. And while the restaurant was busy on a Friday night, the noise level was very tolerable. Lots of families as the menu has plenty but not too much but all the classics. My 7yr old orders chicken nuggets. Over cooked , dried out and tasteless. Never again.

Other than a giant map of Puerto Rico & a couple of mini-signs of hot sauces, there is very little wall decor. The very friendly service makes up for the minimalist interior. Order at the counter & pick up your food in cardboard containers on trays. Comprehensive menu of many kinds of empañadas plus chicken tenders, side diy, desserts, sodas, etc. Pre-made empañadas are brought to the restaurant, placed in small, open bags, are kept warm in a glass case & are replenished throughout the day. We each got a Combo meal which included 2 empanadas, a soda & fries (rice & beans, as a substitute, cost a dollar more). When our order arrived incorrect, they were swift to fix it in a mist gracious way. Prices are very affordable.

Me and my good friend (new character) skittle decided to go to San Marzano before the rest of our friends showed up so we can get some food and chat before it became chaotic. We were greeted by a very kind staff instantly and our bartender Luke (who I definitely do not know) had us seated and comfortable right away. Lemme tell you I felt like royalty there, Luke is very knowledgable about the whole menu and the place and you can tell he is very passionate for his work, and proud that he works there. For an appetizer I got the rice balls, something small and quick before my blood sugar was in the negatives. I was saddened that there was no meat involved because I am growing boy who needs protein but they were extremely good regardless. Very flavorful, and I was really impressed off rip and excited for what was to come. Oh yeah side note skittles has an allergy to literally EVERYTHING. Peanut, treenuts, shellfish, cheese, water, etc. So he literally didn't want anything. Onto the entree! Luke and I discussed what's the most flavorful thing I can obtain with a hefty amount of protein. He looked me dead in my eye and pointed to the Short rib ragu and told me to add a chicken cutlet. He was so confident in that dish I had to get it. I received it and it was really good, it hit the spot. I thought maybe a little more garlic throughout, I thought the salt was overdone a tad, but the pasta was awesome the short rib was a good portion, and the chicken cutlet was your typical long island cutlet. Actually a great dish that I would get again. I then was in need of a sweet treat. That's how you know I was satisfied.. I don't like desserts or I'm not a fan of really any sugary delight, but I was so relaxed I felt like I had to. I got this hardened chocolate shell with three flavors of ice cream inside and it was good! Again I'm not too fond of sweets so after about five bites I was dead, but then Doctor Bs wife spawned out of literal nowhere and ate the rest. Then about 12 more people arrived and watching Luke in action was like watching Jalen brunson drop 45 on the spurs. Total confidence and was extremely efficient. He then made me a fig martini which also was cool! Had a nice color and a perfect starting drink for the knicks game. I have to give my props to the rest of the staff too, including the manager. Everyone worked very well together and it makes me very happy to see a business come together with the same goal to work collectively to run the place as efficient as possible. Great job, will be back.

Donut + Burger = The Charlooch Need I say more? If you're not at least intrigued by this master-minded recipe then perhaps this isn't the place for you. Souper Fry is an establishment that prides themselves in creativity and quality. Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite places to grab lunch and really indulge in all the fatty goodness that resides in these entrees. Recently, Long Island Pulse magazine featured Souper Fry in an article exploring the best burgers of the island. As an alumni to the local schools right near Souper Fry, this was one of our "go-to" places throughout high school. Always quick service, a great product, and the student specials were great. Getting a Sazini freshly pressed or a Galladilla Quesadilla are always a treat. The fries are great, there's tons of choices for sauces, and there isn't one bad item on the menu. Something for everyone, for all ages, and great for lunch. Check out the soups too, they're great for a chilly day or for someone trying to get over a cold! read more

Whoever thought of this place was a genius!! I totally feel like 6845 pounds heavier after I'm done eating but it's so good. Their french fries are super delicious and they have these amazing sandwiches that are just to die for. Very greasy. The food tastes alright but the fries, i feel, are a little too soggy. They have plenty of dipping sauce which becomes useless with soggy fries since it is so hard to dip without getting your fingers coated in dipping sauces! The food is alright but not great.
