This was a first time visit. Got a 6" Pastrami Ruben. Here is what you got right: The sourdough was great. Crunchy, tangy, and a bit salty. The cheese wasn't a stingy portion and was sufficiently melted. The kraut was just as it should be, given the portions of everything else. Here is where you lost me: The meat. Less in quantity than I expected. Drier than I had hoped for, possibly because it was so lean. When I tasted it I was underwhelmed. Not a hint of the pepperiness I expect from pastrami. The spread was the right color but I can't honestly say that I tasted it. Based on this first impression I don't see myself coming back which is really unfortunate. I was glad to see a local sandwich shop with a pastrami Ruben as a regular menu item. Haven't had that since TOGOS left town. Theirs was great. read more

Here's a polished review you could post: Best sandwiches ever! The sourdough bread is absolutely delicious...you can tell it's fresh from the first bite. Ordering online is quick and easy, and pickup is always convenient. I've tried several sandwiches, but my absolute favorite is the Double Pesto Chicken served hot. I always make a few modifications: substitute mozzarella, add extra mozzarella, and get extra sauce. Trust me, it's the perfect combination. And don't skip the pickles...they're a must! One thing that surprised me was how good the flatbreads are. The BBQ flatbread is incredibly flavorful and definitely worth trying. I've eaten here many times and was surprised to see some bad reviews. This place deserves way more 5-star ratings than it has. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and made with care. I postmated a Clam chowder bread bowl and trust me when I tell you I've never had a warm bread bowl and this blew my mind. It was a little chilly on Tuesday around 1 when I ordered a bread bowl and Italian 4" sandwich. They were delicious. The warm bread bowl tho was life changing. Lovely service. The young lady at the register took so much time to answer all of my questions. Even gave me samples of the cookies (whoa! That white macadamia chunk is out of this world!!!). Ultimately I chose the pastrami Reuben. It was good but maybe too many things on the sandwich (my fault for ordering it all!) I want to go back! Happy to have another new restaurant in the area. I stopped by to grab dinner and ordered the 6 inch turkey and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was super tasty, they use a sauce that's pretty tasty. The food was fresh and everything tasted good. The prices are clearly higher because of the sourdough bread and better quality meats. You also get a pickle on the side as well. The sandwiches here are pretty good but the menu can get pretty pricey. Many things, like sandwich toppings, are an upcharge and are not really worth the money. A standard size sandwich here is only 4 inches long. Sandwiches start at $10. I decided to get the larger 8-inch sandwich for an additional $4, making it $14 for the base sandwich. I decided on the Italian sandwich. Some of the toppings like lettuce, tomato and onion are included. Additional sandwich toppings are $0.25 each or $0.50 if you want extra. I ordered pepperocinis ($0.25) and EXTRA olives ($0.50) because I like a lot of olives on an Italian sub. There were so few olives on my sandwich that I couldn't even taste them. One half of the sandwich had only a single olive. Definitely not worth the upcharge. I ordered my Italian sandwich "hot". I did not receive a hot sandwich, just a regular cold sub. You can add soup and a drink to your sandwich for $7.95 extra. The drinks are regular fountain drinks and the soup is about a 6 ounce portion. The soup by itself is $6.95 for the 6 ounce portion, so over a dollar an ounce. The bread is very good though if you like Sourdough. I'd like to return and try their salads and flatbreads. read more

First time at this business. I arrived during the lunch rush, and this place was packed with a seriously long line. Very slow service. I waited in line for 20 minutes, I get it, it's lunchtime, but still. By the time I ordered, I received good customer service. I ordered the #11 Chicken Salad Sandwich, and it was mediocre. Their bread was warm and fresh tasting. I also ordered a small Mac and Cheese, and it definitely had a little spicy kick to it, but delicious. While this place is somewhat new, I'll wait a while and try them again in the future, so they can get their organization issues resolved. Next time, I'm ordering another different kind of sandwich. The shop was clean and well maintained. Few outdoor tables, as well as indoor tables. Their prices were spot on. Crazy shopping center parking lot, but it's ample. This is a new business, offering delicious sandwiches, soups, and colorful salads! Their menu also includes flatbread and gluten-free wraps. My friend and I stopped in for lunch on a rainy day recently, we ordered two delicious sandwiches. Both 4 inch one smoked brisket, and one classic French dip. Apparently an absolute fan fave! Agreed! We ordered a bread bowl with classic clam chowder soup... that was so tasty. It reminded me of sitting on the pier in San Francisco. We ordered a side cup of the hot tomato soup, which was also delicious. And that day they were offering seasonal vegetable soup so they gave us a sample of that as well. Ambience is very clean and the staff was friendly. They greeted the long line kindly and thanked guests for their patience. It is a brand new restaurant after all. Sandwich was okay...better than Subway, but not fantastic. I came in on a Saturday at 2:00 pm, there were six people behind the counter, and all of them were just kind of standing around like they didn't know what to do. There were only three of us in line and it took almost 15 minutes to get our order that's a long time for a sandwich. Just watching the help stand around like they didn't know what was happening and when they did move, they moved very very slowly. This could be a good place if figured out what to do and did it! I was really excited to try this place, but unfortunately the customer service was very disappointing. The food itself is pretty good, but my friend and I were treated quite rudely during our visit. Before going in, I checked the online menu and saw that the mac and cheese is supposed to come with 2-3 sides of bread depending on the size. When I ordered the mac and cheese, I expected it would come with the bread as stated on the official website. When it didn't, my friend kindly offered to go back in and politely ask about it. The cashier responded that they "didn't think it comes with bread," which seemed a bit uncertain. Because of that, I asked my friend to go back in and show them the website where it clearly states that bread is included. While my friend was politely explaining and showing the website, another employee loudly interrupted and said, "We don't serve bread with the Mac and cheese!" The tone and volume were unnecessarily rude, especially considering we were simply asking about something listed on their own website. If someone had just calmly clarified the situation--even after seeing the website--we would have completely understood. Eventually, we were given bread, but even though I ordered a large (which is supposed to come with three pieces), we were only given two. At that point it didn't even feel worth addressing further. The situation could have been resolved very easily with basic politeness, but the attitude we received made the whole experience disappointing. I've Doordashed the clam chowder in a bread bowl from this location before and it was really good. I decided to take my friend and go to the restaurant in person. Again, I ordered the clam chowder in a bread bowl, but this time it didn't look quite right. The clam chowder was pinkish in person and not the white clam chowder I previously had. It looked a little unappetizing, nothing at all like the pictures posted, but I didn't want to complain about it because the gentleman who rang us up was really nice.
