    Italian sandwich
    Stephany M.

I postmated a Clam chowder bread bowl and trust me when I tell you I've never had a warm bread bowl and this blew my mind. It was a little chilly on Tuesday around 1 when I ordered a bread bowl and Italian 4" sandwich. They were delicious. The warm bread bowl tho was life changing. I attached a picture where the bread was steaming in the tupper they give you and it was sooooo good. 12/10. What bothered me was the cut on my sandwich heheheh everything else was delicious. So fresh

    Want to try!

Lovely service. The young lady at the register took so much time to answer all of my questions. Even gave me samples of the cookies (whoa! That white macadamia chunk is out of this world!!!). Ultimately I chose the pastrami Reuben. It was good but maybe too many things on the sandwich (my fault for ordering it all!) I want to go back! I'm including all of the sandwiches I'd like to try in the pics. Go! Try it! Everything looked so good. And on a very cold & very rainy day they were quite busy. Much success to our newest sandwich shop in town!

    Turkey and Swiss sandwich

Happy to have another new restaurant in the area. I stopped by to grab dinner and ordered the 6 inch turkey and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was super tasty, they use a sauce that's pretty tasty. The food was fresh and everything tasted good. The prices are clearly higher because of the sourdough bread and better quality meats. You also get a pickle on the side as well. I would Come back and try other items. They close early around 630, sadly a lot of OC places close early so make sure to stop by during business hours.

    8-inch Italian sandwich

The sandwiches here are pretty good but the menu can get pretty pricey. Many things, like sandwich toppings, are an upcharge and are not really worth the money. A standard size sandwich here is only 4 inches long. Sandwiches start at $10. I decided to get the larger 8-inch sandwich for an additional $4, making it $14 for the base sandwich. I decided on the Italian sandwich. Some of the toppings like lettuce, tomato and onion are included. Additional sandwich toppings are $0.25 each or $0.50 if you want extra. I ordered pepperocinis ($0.25) and EXTRA olives ($0.50) because I like a lot of olives on an Italian sub. There were so few olives on my sandwich that I couldn't even taste them. One half of the sandwich had only a single olive. Definitely not worth the upcharge. I ordered my Italian sandwich "hot". I did not receive a hot sandwich, just a regular cold sub. You can add soup and a drink to your sandwich for $7.95 extra. The drinks are regular fountain drinks and the soup is about a 6 ounce portion. The soup by itself is $6.95 for the 6 ounce portion, so over a dollar an ounce. The bread is very good though if you like Sourdough. I'd like to return and try their salads and flatbreads.

Three items total! Delicious chowder soup and a fresh sourdough bread bowl. French dip and smoked brisket sandwich

This is a new business, offering delicious sandwiches, soups, and colorful salads! Their menu also includes flatbread and gluten-free wraps. My friend and I stopped in for lunch on a rainy day recently, we ordered two delicious sandwiches. Both 4 inch one smoked brisket, and one classic French dip. Apparently an absolute fan fave! Agreed! We ordered a bread bowl with classic clam chowder soup... that was so tasty. It reminded me of sitting on the pier in San Francisco. We ordered a side cup of the hot tomato soup, which was also delicious. And that day they were offering seasonal vegetable soup so they gave us a sample of that as well. Ambience is very clean and the staff was friendly. They greeted the long line kindly and thanked guests for their patience. It is a brand new restaurant after all. Clearly employees are still learning. I have a coportate event coming up and we are planning to order a tray of the gluten-free wraps and a mixed tray of smoked brisket sandwiches along with the # 5 turkey and salami sandwiches Yum!!!! Support local!

First time here! I came to do a taste test of sourdough bread, and it was fantastic and tasty. The sandwiches were very fresh, crispy, savory, flavorful, and delicious. Also, there is a good selection of crunchy chips and refreshing sodas. Good service, nice atmosphere with upbeat music, and I had an excellent experience today.

Barely enough chicken salad to cover the bread. Unacceptable.

About 10 more minutes passed, and the waitress came out--but attended to a table that had been seated several minutes after us. At that point, we decided to leave. They were a real nuisance today, as it was when I visited earlier in the week. The bees were quite aggressive; couldn't get a bite of my toast without having to shoo some away constantly. Finally, I brought my toast inside and finished it there. I know that bees are essential for the global food supply and ecosystem. I just wish there was a way to keep them away from the eating area.

We kicked things off with the bone in hot wings and the spinach artichoke dip. The wings were juicy with just the right amount of heat and the dip came with pink chips which felt festive and fun without being over the top. My favorite dish though was the heart shaped ravioli. They were loaded with cheese but somehow still felt balanced and not too heavy. The sauce was rich and comforting and the bread on the side made it impossible not to clean the plate. We tried all three Valentine's drinks and each one was a hit. Berry Be Mine was fruity and easy to sip, Kiss Me I'm Tart was exactly what it sounds like, and the Ex-presso Martini was smooth and not overly sweet. Dessert sealed the deal.
