Sourdough is a great local sandwich shop! I ordered the chix artichoke flat bread. I will definitely be back. A huge KUDOS to LIELA!! She went above & beyond, making my experience very pleasant & really helped lift my spirits! My brother is a stroke survivor & I was recently bit by a feral cat...Lol. Thank you again Liela

I've always had a good experience here. My favorite is the Chicken Cholula sandwich. The mushroom flatbread is also really good. Service is pretty fast, I usually order online for pick up. The inside is always clean and busy. I'm glad we have Sourdough & Co in town.

They just threw my pickle in the plastic bag lol

I tried this place on a Wednesday around lunch. I placed an order for pick up and my estimated pick up time was 30 minutes from when I ordered, which was to be expected. I ordered a 4 inch garlic turkey pesto sandwich on sourdough and a sandwich for my coworker. It's a smaller place with limited seating. It was pretty full and the workers were all preparing sandwiches when I arrived. One worker greeted me and told me my sandwiches were still being prepared. I'd say the time estimate was pretty accurate. The sandwich itself was pretty good. I was expecting a classic pesto sandwich with turkey breast and a light aioli, but it was sliced deli turkey and a generous amount of pesto aioli. I really enjoyed it. My only complaint was that they just threw my pickle in the plastic bag lol. I still ate it, but I didn't love that it wasn't wrapped. I'll be back to try more of their sandwiches.

We came here to put in a large order costing about $120+ for a lunch with family on a Sunday afternoon. We wanted to get everyone a healthy sandwich lunch before getting on the road. We were assured by Roop, she was very friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude for an early Sunday morning before 11am! We ordered the chicken artichoke flatbread, 2 roast beef, 1 brisket, 1 Reuben, 1 pastrami and 1 Greek salad. We also ordered a kid's meal of Mac 'n cheese along with some cookies. Roop gave us a BOGO deal on the cookies and also provided exceptional service by coming to us and giving us sampler soup (a minestrone and another I think broccoli cheddar). The restaurant is a small mom & pop-like shop and was well-kept looking clean and bright. We waited for our to-go order and ate the soup sampler. We appreciated the service and told our family who lives nearby and they will be patronizing the establishment too. Thanks Roop and team! We will come back again!

This was my first time visiting the Sourdough in Morgan Hill. I've heard good things about Sourdough overall, so I was genuinely excited to finally try it out for myself. We were greeted politely when we walked in, but the experience quickly changed once we got to the register. The person taking my order came off rushed and unwelcoming, which was disappointing--especially since that interaction really sets the tone for the visit. I ordered the #11 Chicken Salad. When asked if I wanted it with house spread and "everything," I asked what the house spread was. When she explained the ingredients, it was done with noticeable attitude, as if my question was an inconvenience rather than a normal part of ordering. When I asked to make it a meal, I wasn't really given time to decide and felt rushed through the process. While getting my drink, I was being stared at by the same person who took my order, which only added to the discomfort after already dealing with the attitude at the register. It made the situation feel unnecessarily awkward. Because of how rushed and uncomfortable the interaction was, I didn't even get a chance to take photos of the menu or the space like I normally would. To be fair, the food did come out quickly, which I appreciated. As for the food itself, the mac and cheese was warm but stuck together, lacking the creamy texture you'd expect. The chicken sandwich was okay--about a 5/10 overall. That said, the person who brought our food and the guy preparing it were much friendlier and more pleasant, which showed that the issue seemed isolated to the register experience rather than the entire team. In total, we spent $39, and unfortunately it felt like we paid to be rushed and made uncomfortable. Customer service is everything, and when that part isn't on point, it really impacts the overall experience. Overall: 3 stars. I would visit Sourdough again, but not this location.

One of the sandwiches by far! Crispy bread, fresh veggie, adequate meat, and a super melty cheese pull!!! Will definitely come back! Came on Christmas Day and they were open! Fast and polite service. I also got the GIANT MACADAMIA cookie. I will come back for the lemon white chocolate!!

Service was wonderful. Everyone we interacted with was very kind. The place itself was nice and clean. It has a small seating area. Clean restroom. Food was delicious, I got the French dip and my husband got the brisket. We shared the poblano chicken soup very good.. overall everything was great.. ahh except the Mac and cheese it lacks flavor.. anyway highly recommend this place prices were fair..

I am a huge fan of gourmet sandwiches. When a Sourdough and Company opened in our town, I was happy to finally try them out. I have now been there twice ever since they opened a few months ago. We arrived at Sourdough and Co on a Sunday night recently to grab dinner to go. They are located near a Cinelux theaters in a nice older plaza in Morgan Hill. There is plenty of accessible parking in the large parking lot. The sandwich shop's modern decor is bright and inviting. There are a few small outdoor tables and a few tables inside for dining in. The menu on the wall is big and informative which I appreciated. The vibe is family friendly. I ordered a French Dip, Pastrami Rueben, and a bowl of clam chowder. Everything was delicious. My French Dip went very well with the Au Jus dipping sauce. The sourdough bread had the right consistency of being crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had our pickles, pepperoncinis, and extra sliced bread for the clam chowder. That was appreciated and a nice touch. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Sourdough and Company. The food was high quality. Price point is affordable. We will definitely be back.

We did take out and had (2) 8 inch sandwiches. The Chicken Cholula and Pastrami Ruben. Both were delicious, the bread was warm, soft and chewy. The staff were very friendly and helpful with providing suggestions and guidance as this was our first time here. The restaurant was nice and bright. If you haven't been you must check them out.

Very clean dining area. Walk up to order. Super nice employees. The bread is freshly baked and can be bought separately. So fresh and soft. I love the combination of fresh ingredients and house made sauces used in their sandwiches and salads. They do catering as well. A must try! My new favorite sandwich place in Morgan Hill!

I met my manager for lunch here. I was running behind and asked her to order for me. The cashier was kind enough to make a few suggestions. I had the Chicken Poblano soup and a Crispy Crunchy Sandwich. Enjoyed the crunchiness of the sandwich!!! Both were delicious!!! I loved that the sandwich was warm and the cashier came over to make sure I liked her recommendation. Appreciated her awesome service! I would definitely come back.

    $72 worth of food.
    Shawn B.

The sandwiches are decent. The cost is insane. $70 for two 4" sandwiches and a large sandwich plus a soup. Hard to imagine ever coming back. Still hungry from this "large" but really seems like 5 bites.

I wasn't sure what else was around in the bakery department, so my husband drove me down town to see what we could find. I spotted GVA and ran in right before closing as a last-resort, hoping they had something I could bring as a dessert to a friend's house. I caught the cashier while trying to get a quick bite, but she hurried to help (even with her mouth full, which I appreciated, being in a rush myself). She was very friendly and I got the chocolate chip cookies and biscottis I was hoping to find. The cookies were impressively big (my daughter told me they were as big as her head). We cut each cookie into 6 pieces so everyone could try the different types: chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate, and oatmeal, and then almond and chocolate biscottis. Everyone was happy with the cookie assortment! Thank you for being open when no one else was GVA! You saved the day~

We drove over 20 miles just to pick up a birthday cake for my son because we have been longtime customers ever since their older location on the other side of Morgan Hill. Their cakes have always been amazing, full of flavor, fresh, moist, and very reasonably priced for the quality you get. While we were there, I decided to try their coffee and I believe the espresso was Tilly brand, and wow it was excellent. I also had one of their cinnamon rolls and it was honestly to die for. Soft, fresh, full of flavor, and one of the best pastries I've had in a long time. What really made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was super nice, polite, welcoming, and very professional. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Their boss should definitely give them a raise because great customer service like that is hard to find nowadays. If you are ever in the Morgan Hill area and looking for amazing pastries, great coffee, or a delicious birthday cake, look no further. Highly recommend Lawson Bakery! The ladies working there were very nice and helpful. I ordered 8 breakfast burritos for my family and we sat outside on the patio. When we first sat down, the table was dirty and I accidentally got water on myself, but one of the girls quickly came outside and cleaned the table for us right away, which I appreciated. She even had the chef come sweep the area, so they definitely tried to make things right and were attentive to customer service. The patio area was actually really nice with plenty of seating and a family-friendly atmosphere. They even had games outside for kids like Connect 4 and Legos, which was a nice touch for families waiting or eating outside. The inside was packed, but the outdoor seating made it more enjoyable. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, country potatoes, scallions, and cheddar cheese in a whole wheat tortilla. The food was delicious and the burritos were packed with ingredients and very filling. Overall, despite the long wait and noise level, I'd still come back because the staff was kind and the food was worth it.

We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. She said we could sit wherever we wanted, asked if we've been in before, and told us about the specials. The interior is cozy, it kind of reminded me of dive bar vibes. They have a lot of drinks on tap and some frozen slushies. I opted for organic iced tea since I don't drink. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed one of the slushies was non-alcoholic so I might try that next time. We ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Chili Cheese Fries and the Supreme wood-fired pizza. The burger was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was delicious, the bacon and onion rings were crispy, and the fries were great. I enjoyed the chili, but I didn't think the cheese sauce or sour cream really stood out. I thought the crust on the pizza was perfect, I really enjoyed the wood-fired vibe and fresh toppings. This would probably be my favorite pizza if they used better mozzarella. For now, Bizza is holding the top spot for me since they use Butcher's Son mozzarella, and in my opinion, it's the best vegan mozzarella sub I've ever had from pizza spots so far. Even though I have notes, I still think the overall meal was a home run and the staff were super friendly so they get 5-stars in my book.
