Their special. Turkey sandwich with garlic aioli w/ a side of mac and cheese.
Tram N.

We were in Gilroy then stopped by Little Bean's Cat Cafe before fueling our body. We were hungry and was a tad bummed we were told the wait would be 25 min. due to folks ordering over the phone or via delivery third party apps for the football game. Service was excellent. Ronnie ordered ribs, mac and cheese, and a baked potato w/o the chives. I ordered their special (turkey sandwich w/ garlic aioli. We also ordered 2 fountain drinks. The wait was barely 15 min. The mac and cheese was creamy and saucy. I tried Ronnie's massive baked potato; 'twas very good.. soft, but not overcooked/mushy. My sandwich (though I only ate half and brought the other half home) was succulent. I loved the pickled red onions. A very satisfying meal after a week of consistent workouts and diet. Loved the decor. They have outdoor seating as well.

Pulled pork, brisket and sides

Mmmmm... BBQ Great serving size, tasty food... best BBQ in Morgan Hill! Service was fast and efficient, made excellent suggestions. The place is super clean with a little 'Ol' Western' look and feel. Lots of seating and right behind a huge parking garage. Just go already!

If you're craving good bbq, definitely check this place out! I always get their brisket and steak and it's always tender. My favorite side of theirs is the corn bread and it pairs very well with their meats. Service was fairly quick and there's lots of seating indoors and outdoors. They have parking out in the back but there's also a free public garage nearby.

Pleasant surprise with Trail Dust bbq! I don't eat a ton of bbq but my partner is pretty particular so decided to take him here to try on our way to Spina Farms. Came for lunch and there wasn't a wait. I got a kids meal because bbq is usually heavy for me and my partner got a brisket sandwich. The bread is delicious, the corn bread included, and the meat was super tender! Sides are yummy too and they have beef ribs right now as a special! Will be back to try the other items! Kids meal size is perfect if you want a light snack.

My husband and I stopped by this spot after visiting a nearby pumpkin patch and we were starving. This place hit the spot. My husband both decided to get platters. I got the brisket with slaw and potato salad. The brisket is everything I wanted it to be. It was tender, flavorful, and delicious. The potato salad was pretty good with the right amount of acidity and tanginess; same with the slaw. The restaurant is very cute. The decor is something I would find in an old saloon. Service was good, nothing extraordinary. People taking our order were fine. Food was delivered to our table after 10 minutes.

Macaroni and Cheese, Coleslaw

Tritip was fairly juicy and flavorful. I liked the macaroni and cheese which tasted more like an Alfredo sauce than the more common orange cheese macaroni. Coleslaw was basic cabbage but pretty good. Order at the counter, with friendly servers.

First time visiting this place, it had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The meal sizes were good and the sides were ok, they complimented the meals.

Santa marie salad with blue cheese and Tri tip

Got the Santa Marie or Maria I think tri tip salad.... Loved all the greens! But I wasn't super into the meat, I would've preferred to switch out for brisket to be honest. It's a self serve at the counter situation (not buffet). The gal still walked around and made sure we were doing ok which was nice. Inside was kind of small but the outside area was pretty big down the side. Perfect BBQ for meet ups or parties with the space. I'll need to come back for more brisket too because it was pretty good last time I came.

1 Meat + 2 Sides + Bread

I must have deja vu because this place looks exactly like Aptos BBQ, Salinas BBQ & Canyons BBQ in Castro valley. The food and menus are identical! If that's the case then that makes for a bunch of solid bbq spots to stop in at in multiple locations! The tri tip is always tender with a nice smoke taste, the Mac and cheese is creamy and gooey and the beans are always full of meat! The spicy bbq sauce has a nice kick and isn't overly sweet and pair amazingly with the beans. The corn bread has a nice subtle crunch to it and isn't dry at all. Trail Dust definitely mimics the others I've mentioned and if they are all the same they definitely have the quality down at multiple locations.

This is a great casual, order at the counter find a table BBQ spot. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. My husband and I got the regular BBQ plate- tri tip- sides: coleslaw and mac and cheese, garlic bread. The tri tip was nicely done, well seasoned and tender. The cole slaw had a nice crunch. The mac was pretty good, not too cheesy. On the table there was a regular bbq sauce and spicy bbq sauce-- the spicy bbq sauce had a nice kick.

2meat combo plate . Fantastic !

Came here about 1.5 years ago, but finally getting around to the review . The day before a concert in San Francisco, I might a pit stop in Morgan town to refill my gas, and get some grub. Wiping away the trail dust from my sojourn, I stopped here at Trail Dust Bbq to also get a nice swig for my gullet. I ordered the two-meat, two-side combo -- brisket and ribs. This was mighty fine bbq and can be easily slated as a 'best-of' in north cal. The brisket had a very nicely defined blackened bark, juicy, and fatty, and I could absolutely taste the savory smokiness of the beef. Professionally smoked . Make a Texan proud too. The ribs were just a tiny bit dry, but when slathering in their house made bbq sauce, everything tasted good. Their homemade sides were to die for. The brisket pit beans is a must. Potato salad house-made blend. Finger licking good. Would highly recommend .

Amazing food. Alec service was interesting. A bit unfriendly and standoffish. Perhaps a long day. Did not offer appropriate options.

Tonight I had a Chalula Chicken sandwich on their delicious Souedough. The bread is crispy and soft and delicious. The chicken had the perfect balance of spicy sauce and chicken chunks... it was fabulous. I split my sandwich with some people in my family and afterward realized that if I had kept it for myself I would have eaten the entire thing in a blink of an eye. It was different than any sandwich I've had and by far, the best!!! The service is amazing at this place. They all greet you when you walk in and they treat you like family. I ordered a 4 inch garlic turkey pesto sandwich on sourdough and a sandwich for my coworker. It's a smaller place with limited seating. It was pretty full and the workers were all preparing sandwiches when I arrived. One worker greeted me and told me my sandwiches were still being prepared. I'd say the time estimate was pretty accurate. The sandwich itself was pretty good. I was expecting a classic pesto sandwich with turkey breast and a light aioli, but it was sliced deli turkey and a generous amount of pesto aioli. I really enjoyed it. My only complaint was that they just threw my pickle in the plastic bag lol. I still ate it, but I didn't love that it wasn't wrapped. I'll be back to try more of their sandwiches.

The restaurant is located in a nice area in bustling downtown Morgan Hill. Parking is available on the street and the few parking lots close by. The restaurant is very small with a cozy outdoor patio for dine in. There is just enough space for the kitchen and front counter to order only. I ordered an A-Jay classic cheese steak and garlic fries. Everything was quite tasty. The cheese steak had quality meat and fresh soft bread. The cherry peppers went well with every bite. Garlic fries were crispy and flavorful. Overall I enjoyed my experience at A-Jay's Cheese Steaks. The staff were nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was family friendly and welcoming. My only gripe is since the price point is high I suggest combo options with small sides available for better value. It's been a while since the last time I was here. Not sure when I'll be back but at least I satisfied my recent craving.

Coming from Westminster in the OC then moving to San Jose, those two areas I was always around viet food so coming to this place I tried to give it some leeway since I know since moving to Morgan hill there is not many places to gather Vietnamese ingredients to cook at home The banh mi itself needs work. The baguette came out pretty dry. For their selection, it seems like they try to add multiple variations of banh mi meats into one rather than the way other banh mi places do specific meats per each sandwich. (Thịt nướng , chả lụa, heo quay) The pate and mayonnaise were lacking. The đồ chua or picked daikon and carrots were kind of lackluster. That being said it seems like one of the few places to get banh mi in Morgan hill, I do feel that they should not be charging such premium price for their sandwiches. If it was cheaper then I wouldn't be so harsh as "you get what you pay for". Not the case here

When he visited his parents recently they had talked about MoHi and when they visited downtown, he saw the restaurant and automatically knew we needed to try it. We travel everywhere with our dogs and he found out that they had a dog friendly patio. A few months later, we were in town and decided to try it for breakfast. There were not a lot of reviews or pictures of breakfast so he made it a point to order some items recommended by our server, Ty - who was phenomenal by the way. Always checked in on us and even complimented how nice and chill our doggy was. We ordered a vanilla latte, orange juice, the breakfast pizza, and the eggs Benedict. The breakfast pizza came highly recommended by Ty. On paper it sounded delicious, but we were still reluctant, because a breakfast pizza? It was delicious, lol. They have a sauce on there that is very similar to what In-N-Out uses and the farm fresh eggs and cheese brought everything together. I decided to try the eggs benedict because the English muffin is scratch-made. The benedict was savory with confit potatoes and fruit. The only thing that threw me off was the fresh fruit was tossed in a pesto dressing. I can definitely do sweet and savory, and all the other weird, eclectic mixes, but this one was just too different for me. The orange juice was a highlight because they literally squeeze it right in front of you at the bar. They have other mixes that they can do as well like orange carrot or orange strawberry. So make sure you ask what is on the menu for fresh squeezed fruits because this one you don't wanna miss Outside there are at least 20 tables with dog friendly written all over the patio area. They have water bowls, turf, and even a cute little fire hydrant. There was a doggy on the patio already who was well-behaved. Overall, we'd be back to try the rest of the breakfast menu!

Southern Farm MOHI…read moreFarms delivers true farm-to-table dining as they serve up locally sourced seasonal ingredients, including some from their very own Uvas Farm. They are part of the Léal restaurant group, which has several similarly named restaurants in the works (MOHI Pasta and MOHI at the Grove), as well as a vineyard (Léal Vineyards) and a flower bar (Luxe Flower Bar). They also apparently own a theater, mansion, ranch, and an upcoming complex that will include housing, shops, and more restaurants. The Good: * Several free lots and free street parking * Catering available * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * They also have a bakery and café available if you're just looking for a light morning breakfast. * Service was friendly but stretched very thin during both our visits as the servers were working more tables than they should've been. * Overall, their pricing is very fair for the quality of the food. * Local beers on tap, as well as a large wine menu. * Wood-fired pizza oven. I didn't try the pizza, but my son wolfed it down. * Carissa loved her brunch Short Rib Fried Rice bowl, especially all the perfectly cooked butternut squash. * Tempura broccoli was fantastic. I loved that they served this instead of the ubiquitous fries to go with the burgers. The Meh: * I don't know why they can't have a menu on their website? The only way to view what's available is you have to pretend you're making an order. * The Brunch Loco Moco was just okay; the hamburger was a bit overcooked for my liking. Otherwise, the egg, rice, and gravy were delicious. * Their burger-to-bun-to-topping ratio is not good. It's mostly that their buns are much, much too thick for the tiny smashburger patties, and the whole thing ate very dry despite all the cheese. I did enjoy the crispiness of the bacon, though. * The salmon in the Roasted Salmon Bowl was also overcooked, and the amount of salmon for the price point wasn't really worth it, in our opinion. The Ugly: * Vegetarian Farm Spring Rolls were pretty bad, if I'm being honest. The only reason we wolfed them down was we had just arrived after a long 5+mile hike and were starving. The ricepaper skin was tough and leathery, and the filling wasn't very substantial. The sauce also needed to be thicker to stick to the rolls. * Parking can be a bit of a hassle, especially if you arrive during the nearby farmers market (Sat 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.), as they are located in the large parking lot on Depot St. Conclusion: Overall, we had very high hopes for this place, as this is the type of place we usually love. However, even after two visits, we just don't see ourselves coming back for another visit anytime soon.
