It's nice to have this option inside the mall as I have always enjoyed their sandwiches. I love sourdough bread! I'm a creature of habit and I always get the Garlic Pesto Turkey #13. Honestly, I've never tried any of the other varieties. The line doesn't usually get busy here, unlike Shake Shack, so service was always fast. This Sourdough and Co. is located in the food court of the Roseville Galleria. My family and I were looking for something to eat before seeing a movie and decided that sandwiches sounded good - I am a sucker for a good sourdough sandwich. I wasn't super hungry, so I decided to order a Kids size Turkey and Cheese while my husband ordered their Pesto Chicken Sandwich. I ate half in the food court and the other half during the movie - the Kids sandwich is the perfect size plus it comes with a drink. I can't really comment on the ambiance since this is just a counter you order at and then take your meal to a food court table. My husband is also the one who ordered the food so I can't comment on the service either, but the food did seem to take a bit longer than usual to come out. Overall, it's a nice addition to the food court that is surrounded by mostly fast food like Shake Shack, Panda Express, Hot Dog on a Stick, Charley's and the soon to be Popeye's Chicken. Sometimes we aren't in the mood for a greasy meal and it's nice to have this option. We'll be back next time we're at the Galleria! Check them out! read more

My son got the mac n' cheese, and it was so good, super creamy and really cheesy, nothing like Kraft. It's the only clean, fresh option in the mall food court, and the staff was friendly and quick. Great place to pick up some food on the go. There was a line of 5 or 6 people and they still got to me quickly. I ordered the 8 inch chicken sandwich and took it home and it was still fresh. So excited for this addition to the mall food court. I was a little hesitant due to the prices but the prices are comparable to everything else available there. I had a Greek salad with chicken. It was fresh and delicious. The portion was also large ate 1/2 there and took the rest home. There was a little bit of a line but it moved fast. This is a fantastic addition to the Galleria mall food lineup!! The food is very fresh, incredibly high quality, and is served very quickly! These guys also get this done quickly, so for someone who is on a tight schedule, maybe a mall employee, this is the BEST choice around! I paid $13 for a salad with one tiny piece red onion, small piece of brown avocado, some stacked cheese and bad mixed greens hidden under the romaine lettuce. Obviously, this employee doesn't consider his customers and don't give a damn about his employer. I'm sure this batch of bad mixed greens are being served to customers until someone speaks up. My fiance and I ordered from sourdough around 8:30 tonight (12/9), a good 30 minutes before they closed, and there was even someone in line ahead of us. There were three teenagers working, one curly haired tall boy, a girl, and a short boy. The short boy made it abundantly clear that he was irritated that we were ordering, was rushing us through our order, and even tried to get the tall curly haired boy to share in his annoyance about needing three loaves of 8" bread, and when the boy and girl wouldn't join in, he said "fine, whatever." He sighed heavily and loudly when we got up to the register. He was incredibly rude. He even had to hide a laugh when we said we were ordering 3 sandwiches. Went here yesterday for the first time ever. My husband ordered the French dip, my toddler ordered the kids Mac and cheese, and my daughter and I shared a turkey sandwich. Shortly after finishing our meal my husband had to hurry off to the restroom with food poisoning. He has had stomach and bathroom problems since yesterday . Thankfully I did not order the French dip as I am 32 weeks pregnant and food poisoning could be fatal. They need to do better here with their food handling or quality of food because my poor husband is in pain with stomach issues since eating here. Be aware :( read more

Came here ona Saturday and ordered a 4 inch turkey and salami sandwich. It was $11 and I was shocked at the tiny amount of turkey in the sandwich vs the salami. There were about four pieces of salami and one small amount of turkey the size of maybe a 50 cent piece. Wasn't even enough to feed to my two year old. I wish I took a picture. I took it back to the counter and after the cashier asked the "manager" if I can have a small amount of turkey to add to the sandwich she said no. She didn't even come to look at it herself. I was so shocked because that's horrible customer service. They could have given me another slice or even charge me for it but that wasn't an option. I just walked away and I won't return. I was actually pretty humiliated. I have never had a simple issue NOT be taken care of. This is what happens when you have teens running a place with no actual customer service skills. I've gone to plenty of other sourdough locations, and I can to practically take enough meat off to make a second sandwich. Now I know this one sucks. read more

It's nice to see a sandwich place open up in the mall! Especially a Sour Dough & Co. However, going there in person is pretty different from going to a stand alone store. The register workers are pretty quick to get your order in and do it with a pretty good accuracy. The food comes out on the other side in a reasonable manor as well. The prices are pretty high for a sandwich place though, maybe because they use fresher ingredients the other places. The sandwich I had was pretty okay but not worth the $15 price tag. I had also gotten the clam chowder soup as my side. The soup was okay but what made me throw it out after 3 bites was the fact that I was always getting a hard and gritty piece of clam in almost every bite I took from it. I understand that clam chowder is supposed to have clams, but not ones so filled with sand that you get the taste of the ocean in your mouth. Overall, it was an so-so experience and the sandwiches are okay but steer away from the clam chowder! read more

Went there last week and the girl manager was rude. My sandwich had barely any BBQ sauce on it, it was very dry. As a new employee of the mall I was excited to see a Sourdough & Co. in the food court. The food is excellent and fresh. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I've ordered ahead in the app twice during my 15 minute breaks. The first time my salad was left by the cashier and no one bothered to acknowledge me at the pick up window. I had to ask for my food. Today I went again and waited to see if I would get called up. After about 10 minutes I stood in line and waited for the cashier. She informed me that my sandwich was not ready and they would call me at the window. One of the girls rushed and made my sandwich sloppily.
