WOW, this place is in desperate need of shades!!! Blinded by the sun while eating!

Sandwiches were good, very expensive in my opinion $33.38 for 2 sandwiches, no chips, no drinks! Sun was blinding, store needs shades!! The workers brought food out to other customers, but not us.

The ladies working were very sweet and I thought it was a delicious flavor. I liked that the sandwich had plenty of meat & the bread isn't too thick. Definitely will be back!

I placed my order online and when I arrived it was all ready to go. I ordered the 8" All American Crunch sandwich, it was absolutely delicious. However before digging in to it I thought it looked a bit short so I pulled out a ruler at my desk when I got back to the office. The sandwich itself measured about 6 1/2" (with wrapper 7") a bit short of the 8" sandwich that I paid for. I really don't like feeling slighted, especially when upsizing and paying more. The order totalled just over $20 with a tip. I don't mind paying as long as I am getting what I pay for. I will more than likely return but am hoping that it will be a better visit.

Cheese is very little, not 3 different ones like promised. They messed up my order .

I ordered two grilled cheeses and they were not grilled, both were cold sandwiches. They let you pick three cheeses but all were 1/2 pieces and not enough to taste the cheese , was more like a lettuce sandwich . For the price it is not worth it. I tried to call before posting and the lady was talking so low and phone had to much static, I tried to tell her I could not hear her and she hung up on me. To many great sandwich places to pay for sub service and food . I don't think I will try it again anytime soon . I wish I liked it because I live near by .

Good fresh tasting sourdough bread This is a casual sandwich spot offering fresh tasting bread... I love their sandwiches. They have two locations in Roseville in which this newer store is also located at a Nugget Shopping Center, this one on Blue Oaks. The inside is smaller than the original store on Pleasant Grove since the location isn't in a commercial area rather close to a residential community. This was my first visit at this location. I had a coupon for a BOGO deal and ordered my favorite, the Garlic Pesto Turkey (#14) and got the largest 8" size. The hubby and I split the sammie. The ingredients were fresh and the thinly sliced turkey breast are of good quality with flavorful pesto garlic aioli spread. The second sandwich was the Chicken Salad (#12). My daughter loves this and she will have no other. LoL! I don't blame her... can't go wrong with quality chicken breast, celery, cranberries, & pecans... oh, and she wanted a slice of cheese with it too. The employees seemed to be in training so it took a bit of a wait for the sandwiches but it's okay. This location is closer to my home so I will be visiting quite often. Lots of parking in a private parking lot. Review #2917

    #4. Turkey and Dry Salami - 8"

Two very good sandwiches from start to finish. The sourdough baguettes were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We tried the #4 Turkey & Dry Salami and the #6 Pastrami & Turkey - both 8-inch sandwiches were $12.49 (but we luckily had a BOGO coupon). Really good flavor on both with crisp lettuce, pretty decent tomatoes and a wide range of cheese selections. I like they have Dijon mustard in addition to regular yellow. The pastrami was lean also. There could have been at least one more slice of meat for the price. 4-inch sandwiches clock in at $8.99 and the 6-inchers are $10.99. I like that you get a crisp, dill pickle spear on the side. Service was friendly and explained things to us since our first visit. Nice, clean space inside.

For $12 I ask...... where's the meat??? Jersey mike's is still going to be my go to. Just a much more satisfying sandwich.

Sourdough Bread Company - a.k.a. "Roseville #2" - is located in the fairly new Campus Oaks shopping center in west Roseville, CA.

Sourdough Bread Company is a chain of four sandwich shops, with two locations in Placer County and two shops in El Dorado County, in the foothill area of the greater Sacramento area. The restaurants offer sandwiches, soups and salads, all served with their crunchy, in-house baked sourdough bread. On this Tuesday morning, I had the pleasure to visit the newest member of the "Sourdough" chain, "Roseville #2," located in the Campus Oaks shopping center, in Roseville, CA. Sourdough Bread Company - a.k.a. "Roseville #2" - is located in the fairly new Campus Oaks shopping center in west Roseville, CA. There are a total of four restaurants in the small chain, all located in the greater Sacramento area, and there are two stores that will soon be opening in Redding, 160 miles to the north. As you enter the restaurant, you'll notice the order counter and the overhead menu, along with the "Disneyland style" markers that channel you into where you place and pick up your order. At the counter there is case with large, freshly baked cookies, along with bags of snacks, and a basked of freshly-baked sourdough loaves for sale. Today is five days before Christmas, and the restaurant is decorated for the holiday, including a Christmas tree. The dining room is open and quite spacious, with the furniture being tables for four. The word SOURDOUGH is on the faux brick wall and lighted up to set the mood. At the rear of the restaurant, there are black and white photos of bakers and chefs from "back in the day," with the emphasis on baking sourdough bread. The menu is placed at the "head or the line," which is where you place your order. The complete menu is listed at the counter, and is also posted on the restaurant's website, and there are small paper versions that you can take home with you, when you decide to do takeout on a future date. From the "top" of the menu, I went with a "Roast Beef" sandwich, along with a cup of "New England Clam Chowder," and a couple slices of sourdough bread, freshly baked in the restaurant's kitchen. The sandwich began with a small roll of some of the best sourdough bread on the planet, freshly baked in the restaurant's kitchen. The crust was golden brown and crunchy, and the inside was perfectly baked, moist, tender, and offered the perfect mix of sweet and sour that premium sourdough bread is noted for. My sandwich included an ample portion - probably around three ounces - of juicy, tender, thinly-sliced roast beef, cooked to perfection. You "bite" into this amazing sandwich begins with the "crunch" from the crust of the freshly baked sourdough bread, and the taste of the meat and "everything" kicks in to make for a truly amazing sandwich. Nothing stood out except for the meat and the bread, but it all blended together to form a taste sensation. The meat-to-bread ratio was spot-on, and the "everything" enhanced the sandwich. This was a truly delicious sandwich! As a side, I went with a cup of clam chowder. A "cup" of soup is only eight ounces, but it made a perfect side to my "Roast Beef Sandwich." The soup was rich, creamy and was just the right consistency. There were lots of pieces of diced clam and potato in the soup, which made for a delicious, hearty side dish. Great clam chowder! Come for the delicious sandwiches, but stay for the fresh, crunchy, sourdough bread, which is baked daily in their kitchen. The sandwiches are delicious, but the bread is simply "to die for." I enjoyed "5-star" dining, delicious soup and sandwich, and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend Sourdough Bread Company, located in west Roseville.

I recently visited this place twice. First time, we dined in. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our sandwiches to be ready, but it was worth it. Sandwich was very good. So we decided to give another try. The waiting time was very long again (over 30 minutes), although there were not so many customers there. This time we did take out and found hair in one of the sandwiches! I didn't feel like driving back and having them make another one, so I just tossed the sandwich. I don't think I'm going back there again.

I ordered the Pad Mee Kow or Drunken Noodles with Beef just based off Yelp photos. I don't normally order this dish, but it's the best I've had. Noodles intact and not stuck together. Lots of beef. Not the most tender meat, so maybe pork would be better. On my next lunch visit, I ordered Pad Ka Prow with Ground Pork & Brown Rice and a small Crystal Noodles Soup. You can choose a spice level from 1 (mild) to 5 (most spicy). I chose level 3, but I probably would be happier with level 1 or 2. Choice of jasmine rice or brown rice. I enjoyed the chewy texture and appearance of the brown rice. Pad Ka Prow is tasty. I loved the Crystal Noodles Soup. It's seasoned well with lots of ingredients, like chicken, wood ear mushrooms, and Napa cabbage. There are 5 different soups that you can order as a Small portion, including Tom Yum, Tom Kha, and Wonton Soup. I look forward to trying more soups. My sister said it gets very busy at dinner time and the wait time can be over an hour. For lunch, it was quite a good deal. AYCE Hotpot, sushi and BBQ for about $30. If you only choose one of the AYCE options, it is about $25 but seems worth it to get the all 3 combo for $30. It does seem that everybody at the table has to choose the same option. Hot pot - You each get your own individual hot pot. There had a pretty good variety of broth flavors to choose from. There is a menu that you can order the meat from. There were 5 of us and we were told we can order 4 meats to share per round. There is a separate area for to grab a tray/bowl and choose your veggies. All in all, I enjoyed the Tonkatsu broth and like the variety of meats and veggies available. Korean BBQ - A bit different in that you do not order at the table. There is an area with small trays of meat available for you to grab and bring back to your table. Good variety. Pork Jowl was my favorite and it's not as common. The only issue is that if your party doesn't communicate, you some how end up grabbing all of the same items! So discuss amongst yourselves or else it might be an overkill. Didn't try the sushi simply because I had some good quality sushi the night before so no need for buffet style sushi. The staff was VERY friendly and efficient. They came by often to check on us, take away dirty plates and to change the grill. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot.

Great patients with the grandparents as they are less adventurous as they took time to explain the process as well as recommending a less "punch you in the face" broths for their individual hotpot. This buffet style was also cool in that all the individual proteins (pre-cooled/seasoned/fully cooked) were individually plated and in little half boxes . Diners take an empty lunch tray, gather what looks good for their liking and return to their table to cook and enjoy. Definitely much more "civilized" . Way better than large sections with multiple tongs encouraging the food savages. Another big plus is the wide selections. For those food influencers...it will be a long running camera shot just to capture the amount of different items. The challenge with this approach tho is that the plates and small food containers can stack up bery quickly and take over much of the real estate on the dining table top. But we were amazed at the team work of the staff to quickly make the needed elbow room. On a busy Saturday night tho, it definitely can still be a bit tricky. The value for the AYCE die hards are definitely there! There are solid options of meats fish and veg. But those fearing AYCE diners can also expect a certain level madness. We saw many unintentional dropping of trays of eager patrons. There were definitely ambitious customers that are stacking their trays sky high. Customers on our visit were generally very cordial to staff and on the couple of "tim.....berssss" we witnessed, the response time to clean up was really impressive! The AYCE masses are hard to please for sure, but it may make a difference to apply some general limit on the individual patrons trays? That may frustrate some hardcore diners but can enhance the experience of others. We will reiterate that the managing team is just doing such a bang up job in hiring a great crew! They all were hustling and we definitely noticed! WTG!!!

I didn't want to write this review but I had a concern about something about the menu. I ordered the tequenos de pollo as an appetizer and the menu didn't say anything about it having cheese in which was perfect. I got the order and it in fact had cheese. I'm lactose intolerant and really sensitive to dairy so I asked about the cheese being in it. He confirmed it was in there, so I asked if they can just take it back- the waiter said no. I then asked if they can just take it off the bill because I couldn't eat it. He said no to that too. My husband doesn't eat meat and my son is lactose intolerant so it was going to be food wasted and money down the drain. I was pretty shocked because I've never been to a restaurant where they can't reasonable accommodate the guest. I then ordered my entree and the chicken was very dry and overcooked. I was not satisfied but I knew they wouldn't let me swap it for something else. Unfortunately I'm not going to rush to come back. The waiter was friendly enough but not accommodating. I get nervous when it comes to food allergies because now I know that some restaurants aren't disclosing food allergens which is actually not allowed. There are folks out here with life threatening allergies, so these places need to be careful. I'm glad I'm not one of those people but it's still disappointing.
