Yummy BLT! [Rocklin CA] Came here for lunch on a Monday and wasn't busy at all. Front sign said please wait to be seated but the lone server working that day said I could sit anywhere I like. I found out later that Chloe was her name. I've only been here once over 10 years ago so I had to look over the menu to see if there was anything new... I didn't know what I was craving but the BLT sounded good. The BLT on toasted white bread had a generous amount of bacon in it. Sooo good! It came with fries but you can have your choice from Regular Fries, Beer Battered Fries, Onion Rings, Sweet Potato Fries, Coleslaw (Select Locations), or Green or Caesar Salad! I opted for the Beer Battered Fries. Crispy and fresh from the fryer. I asked Chloe if I could use my Birthday Reward towards my meal and she said yes and we would do this transaction towards the end of my meal. Then she surprised me with a scoop of ice cream w/ whip and cherry on top. LoL! She didn't have to do this but it was a nice gesture and I appreciated. We came on a Sunday for lunch. It wasn't very busy, but there was a smattering of other diners. We waited a bit before we were acknowledged & then directed to pick an open table in one of the sectioned areas. We grabbed a comfy booth, but table & chair setups are available as well. Some of the furniture is aged & the tables are on the smaller side, but the restaurant seemed generally clean. Walls of windows made it feel bright. Music from the 70's & 80's played. The customer service was straightforward & pretty good, but not especially friendly. We ordered easily with customizations noted. We were checked in on & our requests promptly filled. Our order-- Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Onion Rings Oinkin Moo Burger with Beer Battered Fries Li'l Moo (no sauce) with Regular Fries Strawberry Shake Kids Vanilla Milkshake We each enjoyed our meals! The only thing that irked me was the bathroom. I went in to wash my hands and the paper towels had ran out. I did the "pat dry" on my pants and went back to my table. I mentioned this to the first person I noticed cleaning off the other tables "a busser" and she huffed at me and said "so"? I don't want to assume anything but it seems there are incompetent teens working or family members that think they are too good to tune up the bathroom. My wife and I went to Moo Moo's for lunch today. First time there. The burgers are really tasty. I had the BlueBQ Moo with Blue Cheese and BBQ sauce. Great flavor. My wife had the Flamin Moo with Pepper Jack and Peppers. The Sweet Potato Fries were also great. Rami, the owner had us taste the Beer Batter Fries. Next time I am ordering those! I just had my first burger from moo's burger barn. I got it from DoorDash so I am only commenting on the food. I have a very small appetite so I ordered the child's burger with added cheese, sautéed onions, mushroom mushrooms, Side of onion rings instead fries. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious this burger was! It was done, just a tad less than well, so it was juicy and it tasted great. It was quite large for a child's burger, and I could not finish the whole thing. The onions and mushrooms made it super tasty and the onion rings were excellent. I also ordered a child's chocolate milkshake which came with whipped cream and a cherry on top. I'm pretty pleased with this meal. I will be sure to go back here again. read more

Typically, I do get nervous with such menus, but not here! The food: We had the BMS (no bacon though swapped it for avocado) with onion rings and the patty melt with nacho fries. The food came out in a good amount of time, really hot and honestly, a little embarrassed to say, I could not stop eating! The burger was so juicy, flavorful and everything you could hope for. The patty melt surprised me with the tomato, but definitely was an addition I didn't know I wanted! The service: Chloe was our server for the night and wow! She was engaging, connected with us, and shot the breeze with us while we waited for our food - all while making sure she took care of everyone else. She certainly made us feel welcomed and wanting to come back again. Then there's Ramsi. Such a sweet man that also engaged in conversation and interacted with us. Went in for take out. The server Carlos just mumbled through the order. Turned his back on me and ignored me as I gave my order to him. Then heard the order for the wife I guess and mumbled something back. The price was high enough to suggest we'd ordered two burgers. But when the order came it was just one. His attitude when we went back to correct it was unacceptable and we had to wait another 15 mins while he and the rest of the staff slow rolled the orders. There were literally half a dozen other orders just going cold there waiting to be served. High prices and poor service basically. Each of us ordered a burger with different sides to share and compare. Delicious burgers with special moo moo sauce, red onion, tomatoes on a toasted bun were served. Plus we tried the pumpkin pie shake and a pineapple malt (a definite order again shake)! This was the first time my husband and I tried Moo Moo's and it did not disappoint. We decided to order over the phone and brought it home. When calling, the greeter was friendly and gave great suggestions. With its location, they don't seem to get much business in the evening which is why they probably close by 9pm on Saturdays and 8pm every other day. Pick up was quick and easy with the food already ready. I was worried that the food would get cold quick but it held its temperature well. Both the Oinkin' Moo and the Monterey Moo were great. The burgers are a good portion and the ingredients were good quality. The bbq sauce for the Oinkin' is IMO similar to Carl's Jr which my husband loved. The pulled pork was soft and went well with the coleslaw. The Monterey burger was great, the avocado was fresh and the overall flavor was great.
