I love coming here for a quick healthy meal that makes me feel satisfied! I always get the "pick a pair" combo and I got the butternut squash in a bread bowl with Asian chicken salad on the side. The Asian chicken salad had lots of veggies and the sauce was good and had a kick. The butternut squash is my favorite soup because it's sweet and savory and pairs well with the bread bowl. Wow!! The chicken was cooked perfectly. It is not too dry and it tasted amazing. The pesto was not overpowering the mac and cheese. It truly complements each other. The second part of my order was the rustic tomato soup and I needed some good soup. It is very simple and very flavorful. One thing I do recommend when coming here or door dashing etc is to ask for the croutons and cheese on the side so it won't be too soggy. I told the waitress we were eating here and she explained that the dishwasher had already left. I just don't understand restaurants if you're open till eight that means you're open till eight. I have eaten at Boudin many times. But now the prices are a bit high for what you get. My husband had the Italian sandwich which had just one thin slice of each type of meat. I had the tomato bisque in a sourdough bowl which I have had many times, but this time it was only half full. See the photo. It was still tasty. We used the self-serve kiosk to order which was efficient. There were only a couple people in the restaurant so we were served promptly but they forgot our drinks at first. Haven't been here in years, but this will definitely be the last time here. Broccoli cheese soup was watery. It had only tiny flecks of broccoli florets floating in it. It was also VERY salty. The roll they served with it was super hard. Good grief. Their grilled cheese sandwich had hardly any cheese inside, it was just toasted dry bread. The little bit of cheese inside was tasty, however. Wish they put cheese in their grilled cheese. Fruit cup - was about 1/2 a cup of smashed grapes and melon. The fruit cup at Chick Fil A is SOOO much better, has a much nicer variety of FRESH fruit and the serving size is bigger. Lesson learned. Avoid this place. We were so disappointed. Stopped in for lunch today after a hair appointment and shopping at the Fountains in Roseville. This is a perfect spot to pick up a quick bite plus bakery items such as freshly baked bread, cookies and pastries to take home. I got the "pick a pair" with clam chowder and half turkey avocado sandwich. Also picked up a peanut butter cookie and cinnamon bread to take home. It was a little busy but the service was still good. Boudin has typically been a favorite of mine but today I ordered a BLTA which is a bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado sandwich. It comes with a very small bag of kettle chips or a side salad. The sandwich was fresh with lots of tomato and lettuce. Very disappointing that the few half slices of bacon they put on the sandwich were thin and nearly non existent. Especially for a sandwich that costs $12.99 and is called a Blta... Not sure if I will be going back to Boudin any time soon. Thank goodness for Angelic! When we got to Boudin's Roseville, they didn't have my order. I had ordered my rolls and cinnamon rolls a few days before my visit to my aunt's. Angelic mentioned that the day shift hadn't set aside our order and everything was sold out, she was so apologetic and tried to make it up to us. She couldn't give us what we ordered, but she did offer a multi-grain loaf and brownies. She even gave us an extra two as an apology. Stopped by to pick up my reward bread loaf. I always get sliced sourdough. They are now only giving out reward loaves with purchase so I purchased a salad for lunch , Asian Chicken, and for my free sliced sourdough loaf of bread. This is a very busy location at lunch hour. It took a while to get my salad out and they forgot to include the dressing. It comes with a sourdough roll and you have to ask for utensils with to go orders. The salad was tasty and large enough to share. The protein portion is a little small but all the flavors of the oranges, almonds, red peppers and spring mix blended nicely with the lean chicken breast. If you like thick soup this is the place! The tomato soup is super cheesy. The clam chowder needs some salt and pepper but the bread bowls are nice and soft. You order at the counter or online and sit wherever so it is a nice casual dining experience. The speed of service and price is totally fair and definitely worth it. read more

It comes with thinly sliced roast beef, provolone, caramelized onions and horseradish mayo on a garlic butter toasted sourdough baguette. Served with Au Jus. Came in yesterday 11-13-24 at 5:00 pm with my family just the four of us, and we ordered we were given a number, and we sat and wait patiently, but five minutes of waiting to turn into 1010 minutes of waiting turned into 15 and 15 turned into 20 and finally after 30 minutes of waiting we noticed that the restaurant was catering to online online takeout orders, their in-house dining customers. We literally watched DoorDash, and all other pick ups come through - get their food - and leave, with an entire restaurant full of people who are dining in just sitting around twiddling their thumbs wondering what the heck going on.? A lady who came in two people behind us finally got up and asked where her food was, and they brought her food later. Once we did get our food, my son's pizza from the kids meal was cold and served cold to him, my father's burger that he ordered was also cold and my soup and my mother soup was perfect, however, the amount of time 30 minutes plus to get our food having it served cold was ridiculous. Now my father is 75 years old. He's very set in his ways, I wanted to talk to the manager, but he did point out that there's absolutely no point in talking to the manager, to write a review and just know that we're never coming back to this location. However, I am going to be making a phone call this afternoon around regular business hours to talk to a manager this morning because yesterday was just ridiculous. Don't get me wrong. I was shocked to find out the free bread each month has changed. Now you have to make regular purchases each month in order to get the bread.
