It sounded worthwhile, but for me, it wasn't!!! It made the sandwich taste yucky!!! Even the meat was dry. That could probably be a good sandwich without the coleslaw just mayo and a good barbecue sauce with lettuce, onions and tomatoes and yes, some jalapeños!!!! Guessing one for each soup. It traveled well and was still soft and warm. The only thing it was missing was butter like they give at SF boudin. Love it, love it!!! I always stop here after my weekend walk/hike in the area. It's like a ritual, I'm hooked. Cold days/hot days/any day! My go to is the clam chowder bread bowl, and cobb salad with spring mix.. this is it!!! The clam chowder is so good & creamy, and inside the bread bowl it's sooooo gooooood. The bread bowl itself is fantastic with butter. The cobb is always filled with toppings so it's not like rabbit food (just lettuce). I think a lot of online orders back up service for walk in or done in customers. My order was not as I asked. I didn't get the Monterey Jack cheese that I asked for only the cheddar. we ordered 2 chicken caesar salads for 24 dollars and all it was was a few pieces of chicken and croutons and the parmesan cheese was the type for pizza and very little of that. On the website it say shaved parmesan and and picture shows homemade croutons which is very deceiving. this was probably the worst salad I had. So I called the store just to let them know and they said to bring the salads back. I wish I could have but my lunch was up already. I will never go back. I placed an order around 6pm, website said it would take 30 mins and that's a long time for a sandwich when restaurants can make a whole meal in 20. So I show up 35 mins later and there's 3 employees STANDING there doing nothing. So the man picks up my order slip and asks the girl to start on my sandwiches. I ordered Clam Chowder Soup in a Sourdough Bread Bowl. The soup had almost no clams and overloaded with potatoes and very lacking in clam chowder flavor. The Bread Bowl tasted like bread...not like Sourdough AT ALL. $13 Disappointment! It was did not taste terrible but severely lacking for any soup but worse that it was clam chowder soup :( read more
