I haven't been here for a party or anything, but just for the play area. It's probably one of my favorite indoor play areas for my little. She loves the ball pit and the bounce house! She loves slides, but was a little scared the last time. I do like that the equipment allows for adults too. The toys are great, and there's a great variety and number of car toys, balls, etc. I like that there's a seated table area right outside the play room for your LO to have a snack. The staff came by every 15-30 minutes to put things back in place, because if you are around kids, you know, 15 minutes and a tornado could have hit the place. read more

I am so incredibly impressed with South Play and their staff. I typically come here with my three year old and infant during the week for unstructured play. It is great because my toddler can get his energy out and I don't have to chase him around a big playground with an infant. I highly recommend getting the ten pack because you will come again! We recently had a party here and WOW. Robyn is a whiz at setting things up and helping throughout the party. We had two staff members assisting us from set up to breakdown. They replenished drinks, served the cake, cleaned up, and kept an eye on the kids in the play area. The parents were able to relax, have a drink and enjoy watching their children having the best time. Close to the end of the party, the staff packed up my car with the gifts and loaded my car with the party supplies I brought. It was soooo nice to have extra helping hands. We booked the outside courtyard for just a little extra for a taco stand and we also extended the party for an hour so the guests didn't feel rushed. I would suggest getting the extra hour and use some of that time for setting up. read more

South Play is my go to place for my kids birthday parties! The facility is clean, fun and the decor is unique and beautiful. They put a lot of effort in the details and my kids are always thrilled when they walk into their parties and see all the amazing decor. They are very attentive at the parties and make sure everything is running smoothly, I appreciate their timelines and how they manage to keep it all together. Their staff is moving presents to your car while you mingle with guests, etc. The adults have a great time too because they can relax while kids play and they even allow you to bring your own champagne for those mom-osas! read more

My 4 year old son and I met a couple of friends at South Play and we could've stayed all day! For a smaller space they really have a variety of activities for young kids. It was clean, safe, a reasonable price point and had a really fun atmosphere! We will definitely be back for another day of fun! read more

Came here for a birthday party. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities, which is saying a lot considering I'm germaphobic and have really high standards. This is a great venue for parties, as there are two distinct rooms for eating vs. playing. They also have bathrooms on both sides for convenience. The playroom has a lot of different things to do for kids of all ages, including a wooden playhouse, tons of different toys, ride-on cars, a bounce house and a giant ball pit with slides. Overall, the staff did a great job and executed everything well from the food to the playtime to the clean-up. In fact, they allowed us to play a bit past the allotted time because of a potential hazard in the area that caused the party to start later than originally planned. I would definitely consider having a party here in the future and am happy to see a play place thriving in the midst of the pandemic! read more

We've had both of my daughters fourth birthdays at South Play. The recent one was planned by Kelsie. She and her team did a fantastic job. She went out of her way to arrive early and make sure everything was set up the way we needed. She even stayed a little longer to make sure the party was going smoothly. Everything was so timely. When guests arrived they were greeted and instructed to sign the waiver and their birthday presents were taken. Everything was safe, clean, and timely. Met with Peter (co-owner) on a Saturday at South Play. He walked us through the place, the logistics, party packages etc. While we worked with Peter that day, our son had a good time in the play area and loved the place. We took another day or so to look at a couple other options and decided on South Play. After that my wife and I worked with Robyn (co-owner) for coordination for the event - the theme, the food, decorations, and she was EXCEPTIONALLY nice and accommodating for all of our requests. She offered valuable insights. One the day of the event, our guests and the kids had a really good time. There wasn't one thing that didn't go right! The staff at South Play were really nice. We had our son's 5th birthday party at South Play and it was wonderful! The kids loved the indoor play area, and the parents were able to relax and enjoy while the kids played. We had a taco caterer in the courtyard and used the outdoor seating area as well. Peter, our host, was friendly and helped us to set up our food and decorations, and kept the party moving along seamlessly. The staff kept the beverage coolers filled and cleared away empty plates and cups throughout the party to keep the space clean. Beautiful pictures on the website, so I got the middle Gala package for a birthday. It is very clean and easy to park. Unfortunately, it's a LOT of money for only 1.5 hours in the play area. The last 30 min. The play area is closed and the make it time for cake and goodie bags. The Organizers are very strict in setup and cleanup because they do 3 parties a day, with 30min. To set up. Before and 30 min. To cleanup. Really for cake and goodie bags takes 10 minutes at the most. Our party was cleaned up by the end of 2 hours. If you really want to spend the money for a quick party, you can bring your own decorations, goodie bags, and cheese pizza for the lowest package. Extra $22 charge for over 15 kids and extra for over 25 adults. The time limit and helpers made it a stressful party. read more

I absolutely love South Play. It is one of the cleanest, most kid-friendly and inclusive places I have ever been to. I have two kids, my four-year old is autistic and non-speaking, and the almost two year old is nt and very cheeky. Both kids have been made so welcome at South Play. When I checked in, I casually mentioned that my little boy was autistic and the lady at reception immediately asked to let her know if she should turn down the volume of the music or how they could assist to make him feel more comfortable !!! You rarely find so much welcoming initiative!! Both kids really enjoyed playing there and I saw staff clean the toys twice in the 90 minutes we were there. When we finished playing exactly at closing time, they patiently waited for my older one to put his shoes back on and very gently redirected my little one who was trying to rearrange all the pillows . They have her a piece of chalk and she was allowed to scribble at her hearts content on the blackboard underneath the reception desk! So kind, so patient and understanding. The equipment is first class, the slides are fun, the toys are so inviting for open-ended play. Both kids had a blast and we will definitely be back soon! read more

South play is a great indoor play area for little ones. It has a lot of fun activities for young kids up to probably 10. There are a few tricky things that if you don't call ahead you could show up and it's closed for private events which happens a lot so call ahead! Also honestly it's pretty small so it's definitely not for older kids and really they should put an age limit. Great place for a young ones party though! The ball pit balls are cleaned weekly (I know as I've seen the truck come and clean them). Socks required for adults. My son loves the toys, bounce house, slide and ball pit. The venue is private when hosting a party and feels like your own paradise. Peter and his team handled set up, clean up and cutting the cake, helping us unload and loaded our car. There are so many things they handled for us. I was really able to enjoy my daughters birthday without constantly running around. Had our daughter's third birthday here last weekend and it was amazing! We paid for the custom decor package and Robyn created a gorgeous Frozen wonderland for our little girl. The play area is really perfect for the kids to play their hearts out - we hired Elsa to come in and even she was not enough to tear the birthday girl away from the ball pit for more than 10 minutes!
