We have made it a point to come to this restaurant each time we visit Kissimmee. But we were pretty disappointed with our visit last weekend. While the service was decent and food was good, it rubbed us the wrong way that our server did not bring us receipts, simply told us our total, without mentioning there was auto gratuity on the check. My sister tipped $50 thinking that was a good tip on the total she was given, and then once her receipt was given to her AFTER she paid, she then realized she had tipped $50 on top of the auto gratuity. Took a trip to Old Town on our family vacation. We chose this restaurant because my dad loves fried gators. Yasmin was our server and she was exceptional. Great personality, great recommendations and speedy service. NOW The food was not that good. Very simple, carnival-like food. The nachos were bland with not enough cheese, burger was cold, gator bites were fried too hard, daiquiris were weak. I was in Old Town looking for a small restaurant to eat a quick lunch with the family. This place is one of the main restaurants located in this small amusement park. The service is good but the food is not that great. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a side of bacon that came with French fries. My family stuck with the 1/3 burger with cheese. This place looks like there specialty would be there drinks. Plenty of fruity slushies with alcohol. Prices are decent not to pricey but for the quality of food I would stick with the small food trucks inside the old town I came early and there was not alot of people so you are quickly served and ready to enjoy the rides around the town. This is a relaxing outdoor/indoor bar. Sadly smoking is permitted. However it is right next to the stage so when there is a band playing its a great place to grab a beer and a snack. The food is pretty typical bar food. We had nachos, a foot long and fries covered in cheese and brown gravy. All around decent but not spectacular. I think I will try their burgers next time. They seemed under staffed for a night that is typically busy but since we werent in a rush it was fine. I had a cocktail called the Blue Dream which wad quite delicious although a tad pricey. The spot is strictly limited to tourists. If you're not a tourist, there would be no reason for you to come in this place ever. They have a great selection of Jell-O shots and shots in syringes and all the goofy kind of things that spring breakers do when they're on spring break. They sell big beers and plastic cups and they have a few specialty drinks they like to serve that run between eight and $10 apiece. They have a frozen strawberry daiquiri machine and a frozen piña colada machine and when we were there my son ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri without any trouble. They have a guy playing guitar out on the deck which is most of the square footage of the place, there are tables outside and stand up mostly tables inside and the guy plays on the edge of the deck between the inside and the outside. You know what you're going to get some classic rock single guitar the normal stuff that you can sing along with, the one I saw was perfectly adequate. Personally I'm not a fan of tourist bars at all so I didn't like it but if you like that sort of thing, this is the perfect example. read more

We stopped in here for lunch right after arriving and it's a nice little place with an open air atmosphere to enjoy the lovely Florida weather. It gives you the feeling you're chilling at a casual walk up beach bar. They are super friendly and you can definitely start to get your party on here. With Jell-O shots offered to you midday as you enter the restaurant how can you be in a bad mood? The guys partook in the Jell-O shots and said they were good. Our server came out right away and was really friendly. She wasn't entirely sure what was gluten free but did a little investigation for me and found out they could do a non breaded fish fillet for me and some salad. She even searched through the dressing ingredients for me to make sure it was safe for me. Food came out quickly and the fish was seasoned well and really delicious. The guys all loved their fried and gluten-full fish n chips and shrimp po'boy sandwiches. Portions were good and it was really inexpensive! The menus are a little sticky, the floors a little dirty, the food a little greasy, but all in all I think the service was good and the atmosphere was chill and relaxing. read more

Ever since our first visit to Old Town, we have loved Southern Breeze, and visit it every time we are in the area. It was affordable food and drinks with great service. This past weekend we went in and found that they had raised their prices. They didn't just raise them a buck or 2, they really jacked them up. What used to cost $6 now costs $11. The food was still tasty, but now that the prices have almost doubled, then quality of the food doesn't really justify the price tag. If they really want to charge that much, they need to start improving the recipes. Also, If they are going to charge this much for food, they should use some of that added income to finally clean up and fix the bathrooms. read more

The food was COLD by the time it got to the table. Like, our cheesesteak was a solid block by the time the sandwich got here. It was absolutely outrageous!! We request the manager and he walks up, without introducing himself, and acts like it's no big deal!!! The place isn't even packed!! This is an everyday thing!!!!! Seriously?! And their solution to the problem?? Not to apologize!! NOT to fix it!! NOT to recook the cold food!! But to give us 25% off. To eat the ice cold food and pay them 75% of the cost!! Counter service fried bar food with a spot on the walking-friendly Old Town main drag. Good for people and car watching, saw loads of classic cars rumble by and park across the street. The reviews looked dodgy but we were pleasantly surprised with a quick service, under 25 minutes to get our order to the table. The kids meals were on the small side but the gator bites were cooked perfectly, and our cheeseburgers were filling and had fresh ingredients. Main complaint is the noise. Shortly after we were seated the music turned up louder, at the threshold of headache levels. I should've just walked away. I order salad because well you really can't messed that up. Well they did. We were a party of 15 and the service was terrible. I feel for the waitress who helped us. The party next to us almost walked out before they got stopped because they finally made their food. We waited for our food and it finally came and the fries were cold and soggy. The chicken tenders look like school chicken. My salad I got last like 10 minutes after everyone else. I had no CHICKEN why was it last?. It was drenched in Parmesan cheese. The water the freaking water it tasted like rubber, I spit it back inside the cup and just decided to just take a loss on a drink for my meal. I couldn't imagine what the other stuff tasted like. They get one star because of the service at the bar where they can wait on you for out service. They did not let people cut in front of us which was very annoying and happened on more than one occasion. That was really good. However we decided that maybe we should sit down at a table and look at a menu as in the three years that we have been there we've never eaten there we've always gotten our drinks to go. We had our drinks and not once did a waiter come over to check on us give us menus or ask to refill our drinks. A while goes by and my husband goes up and gets a second order at the bar. We began a conversation with people at another table of 4. Our table also seeded for but they took one stool a way for another table so really it was a table of three if all stools were filled. We talked to the people next to us for a while although we didn't know them. A waiter came up which we have never met he told us that we had to join the other table. I didn't know them and was not comfortable moving. He told us we must order food. I told him to bring me food menu he acted frustrated and left for a while. After waiting on another large table of about eight five of which brought their own drinks from outside of the restaurant, he drew a menu down. We took our time looking at the menu and decided that we would try Gator bites which I've never had alligator in my life. He seemed frustrated that we only got an appetizer and walked away. Once again never asking about our drinks if we needed water or anything else. A while went by and somebody else delivered our small portion of Gator bites which was fine because they were tougher in this year than I would have thought they would have been but I've never had them so it is what it is. By this time had passed when eaten are Gator bites and our drinks were finished again. No service the guy is constantly at the back wall like a Wallflower. Not paying any attention to his tables and my husband goes up to get more drinks. No mind you we've been there for a few hours. The people next was I've already eaten and gone. But we can't seem to get any service. My husband said something to someone when he was reordering drinks at the bar and the waiter became angry and came over to the table where I was and asked me if I had seen him but he never waited on us he never told us he was our waiter for a long. Of time and then never checked on us. Why should I ask him for service he should be checking on me. Then he proceeded to get my husband's face at the bar with the manager there and it didn't really appear that the manager did too much but ask him to leave. We should not be treated aggressively bye anybody waiting on us in the service industry. In my view and from what I understand from being in the industry for years he should have been asked to leave he should no longer have a job doing what he's doing. He is aggressive and not service-oriented. He should have been friendly from the beginning no matter where our drinks came from even though they came from the same business that we had just spent a lot of money being at. We have gone here for years and will think twice about ever going here again even though we come to Celebration a lot. It makes me so sad about this situation it could have been handled much better.
