I came here for a French bikini wax with Courtney last week. The ease of scheduling appointments online was great and luckily I was able to schedule an appointment very soon. I have been going to Courtney for at least 6 months now. This is one of the best waxing experiences I've ever had. I have done wax and cloth strips, sugar wax and this is the first time I've used the hard wax. I think it's great for the bikini area and has been the least painful of all and leaves no mess or residue. Courtney is great and has been working on reshaping my eyebrows after some bad nail salon experiences. First, they provided great directions. I had no problems finding the location. The communication and response time was timely and efficient. Once I arrived I was greeted and explained what I needed to do. I was given enough time to prepare for my wax. I had a full Brazilian and underarms. I have very sensitive skin & typically have the following problems with facial waxing--1) my skin turns so red that it's embarrassing to go anywhere after my appointment & 2) the next day my skin looks as if it's been ripped off in places. I called last minute- on my way in for a hair appointment in the same building and left a message. Courtney replied within the hour that she could fit me in before I left. Cute salon. Best brow and lip wax I've ever had! She told me that they use a different type of wax that doesn't require the paper strips and also will not remove the top layer of skin (as other waxes do?), which is why it is so much less pain. She also adjusted the shape of one of my brows which I didn't realize had a different arch? But now I can totally tell a difference- much more balanced. Excellent attention to detail! Also gave me a few tips on use of brow pencil and powder. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. BONUS- first visit is half off and no tip policy, which makes price painless too!! read more
