This was our first time eating here and we were very happy with what we got!!!! The food was absolutely delicious! I got a couple sides ( 2 eggs, candied bacon and a single pancake, my wife got the special truffled scrambler). We cleaned our plates, we would have licked the plate if it was acceptable lol

Avocado toast with caramelized balsamic onions, crispy maple bacon, sundried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and egg to order.

First time here and I will be back. Nice variety of menus items and not everyday fare. I had the Avocado toast and trust me not the avocado toast I make at home. Lovely presentation, bacon on it was crispy and delicious, fresh and tasty avocado. In asking others around about their meals, everyone said great food and they took will be back. Excellent and friendly service. Nice ambiance. Bakery items come from Love Bug bakery and th apple fritter was yummy. I also had a specialty latte. Pricing appropriate for the quality and quantity.

Fresh food, excellent customer service Southern Cypress is a well needed addition to Palm Bay restaurants.

I almost don't want to share because I don't want it to get to crowded, but I honestly can't say enough good things about this restaurant. From the wait staff, who are charming and attentive, to the chef, Caleb, who is really fun to talk to and makes the most amazing food. The presentation definitely elevates the experience to another level. The fact that it is all fresh and locally sourced makes it even more amazing. I love the family owned feature too. The only thing that concerns me is that they are going to outgrow their location soon. In three weeks since our first experience it has already started a lot more customers. So go, try the crab hushpuppies (the sauce is good enough to sell), and take home some propagated lettuce and cobbler for later. It's good!

Excellent Smoked Wings and Great Happy Hour Spot…read more Stopped by Broken Barrel Tavern at Palm Bay Road and Babcock and had a great experience. Service was prompt and friendly, and the happy hour specials made it an even better value. I ordered the wing basket with 8 smoked wings and onion petals. The onion petals were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the spicy remoulade sauce. For the wings, I tried both the Carolina Vinegar and the Hot Garlic flavors. The smoked wings themselves were outstanding, and the Hot Garlic sauce was especially memorable because it featured real garlic, which added incredible flavor. These are definitely wings I will come back for and highly recommend to anyone visiting. My partner ordered the BBQ pulled pork quesadillas with seasoned fries. The fries were more like freshly cut chips, nicely seasoned and delicious, and the quesadillas were excellent as well. Overall, Broken Barrel Tavern delivered great food, quick service, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you're in the Melbourne area and looking for outstanding smoked wings, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

Went for lunch on a Friday and they had two servers and only one working the dining area. We sat in the very dark dining area. Every surface was painted black. Lighting was pretty poor and it was hard to read the menus. Ordered a pulled pork platter and a pulled pork sandwich. They both came with "fried chips" and the platter had another side and we chose beans. Bourbon Bbq sauce was our choice. The pork was good. Good portions on both sandwich and platter. Beans had some "heat" which I don't favor but my son really liked. The chip fries or fried chips - whichever they call them were seasoned with a garlic salt it tasted like. However they could have used about another minute I the fryer. The bigger ones were raw in the middle. May have been a byproduct of a large party in their event room throwing off their timing. But if cooked a bit more they would be a unique side for the area and good. Server was stretched thin. Freshens my son's drink but not mine until he brought the check. By then meal was over. I had water. Not difficult. Rib special looked good from a distance and I heard they are known for wings. Maybe next time. Noticed there is a private room for events that most restaurants do not have. So a point to consider.

Came for an earlyish dinner and did not realize it was happy hour. Lots of specials on drinks and apps to choose from. House margaritas were good and a bit potent :) The burrito loco was had by two of our party. One with queso and one with red sauce. PROTIP. Order the burrito with birria meat and be amazed. Tender and flavorful off menu option. The fajita meal was huge as expected. And we had leftovers. The meat and chicken was very flavorful and the veg was rendered enough to soften them but keep the flavor. Sweet onions and bell peppers were perfect. Do not drive by this gem of a restaurant.

We told her we love trying new things and asked for her recommendations, and she absolutely delivered. She helped us narrow everything down, and honestly, every single thing we ordered was so good. The pork belly al pastor, and the el queso shrimp bravo were all incredible. Super fun, unique dishes and the presentation made it even better. She had no idea we were in town for a funeral, but this ended up being such a needed pick-me-up for our family. The vibe, the food, and Sofi's energy just turned our whole night around. If you go, definitely ask for Sofi. She is the best.

Wow, we missed so many things about Crush! Those bacon-wrapped Medjool dates, the amazing cocktail program... so many things. My burger was new to the menu, and I can't remember the name, but let's just call it "the Butcher Burger," because I know it had a patty that was a mix of chorizo and venison, and maybe Wagyu? It was also topped with an egg and some smoky mayo. Regardless of what it was called, it was TO DIE FOR. My daughter had a huge wedge salad, and it was great. My wife's chive and Gruyère biscuit was awesome, and her strawberry-rhubarb cocktail was delicious. Honestly, we had such a good meal that we almost came back again for dinner just a few hours later on the same day! We didn't, but we will definitely be returning very soon!

Sat at the bar prior to dinner and had two fabulous cocktails. Watching the bartenders assemble the craft cocktails was a show itself. On to dinner. Our waiter recommended the bacon wrapped dates as a customer favorite. They were a combo of sweet, salty, and smokey. Perfect start to dinner. We ordered the coffee crusted filet with cocoa demi-glace, smashed truffle potatoes and grilled broccolini for one dish, and the fresh catch of the day with coconut rice and pineapple salsa. Our server (forgot his name) was awesome as well. The whole experience made my birthday that much better!

There was ample free parking. We arrived before sunset which allowed us to see fabulous sights- the airport traffic in daylight, and the sunset which is God's gift after a long day. At night, the airport is a hub of activity. It's a terrific view. If you're interested in sports, they have it available at the bar. It isn't just the atmosphere and view that make this a good restaurant, it is the quality and quantity of food. Like some of you, I traveled extensively during my career. Hotel restaurants were not known for high-quality food. This place is an exception. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food, ample amounts, and reasonableness of the prices. The service was excellent. We will return. We recommended it to you.
