The burger was delightful, the stout was malty, rich and delicious, and while I can't remember which samples I had in the flight, I enjoyed them all. We really love the Southern Hops in Florence, SC so we wanted to try their new location in the Inlet. We got the pepper wings. I believe they are 6 pepper wings. We usually love them but I will have to say they were overcooked. And they weren't overly busy when we were there. We were disappointed since we know they have great food in Florence. That was our first trip and everyone has a bad day so we will try them again. We love their pizza too so we will try that on our next trip. read more

Kaylin was great, very attentive, and knows the menu. Beers were good, easy drinking, and refreshing. Son had the burger and really enjoyed it. Hubby and I split pizza. The local honey in the crust really comes through. I would go back just for the pizza. read more

A little, unexpected hangout spot. Cool vibes. The staff are super sweet and friendly upon arrival. The menu is a little limited- a couple of burgers, some pizzas, and apps; the drink menu is stacked though. We started with nachos, which I think had their beer cheese on it and they were delicious. We moved on to the regular sized Leeroy Brown beer cheese pizza, which was perfect size for two people and it was delicious. We took some of it home with us. My only complaint is that we were sat outside and waited a long time (20 minutes) for our bill and box. read more

Stumbled across this brewery looking for refreshments after a day on the beach,, a good find! The beer selection was good, the golden ales were smooth and blood orange was a good balance of fruit with hops... The food was very good, the burgers were well prepared with a good grilled flavor.. suggest that the fries should be paired with the burgers and not as a side order... Who doesn't love a good brewery! We are new to the area and wanted something away from the crazy tourist spots but still a fun atmosphere. This place was perfect! They have indoor and outdoor seating, and even welcome friendly pets in the outdoor area. Outside they have umbrella covered tables with jenga, corn hole, and more. Not only was the atmosphere cool and the service great, but the food was really good as well. I have a gluten allergy and was nervous it would be mostly bar food, but they have tons of options! The wings were amazing and I loved that they are twice baked! My husband loved his buffalo chicken pizza as well. Mediocre food pretzel salad and pizza are decent. But the manager is a really short sighted and not interested in long term business. We were disappointed with a drink of soda and juice which was $8 and had no alcohol in it so we brought it up to her and she refused to do anything about it. Let's talk about it: Our waitress was very nice, the overall atmosphere was cool and I love brewery's. On Thursdays they do tours with the brewer. The menu has some good choices with decent prices. I was with my fiancée and we got the egg rolls, chicken sandwich, smokin blt, a coke, a water, and a beer. The beer was good. Why 2 stars? Well first of all we got two waters instead of a coke and a water, which in the end turned out not to be a huge deal because we weren't charged for a coke. Then our appetizer came out at the same time as our food, so with the amount of flies at our table we could only take a bite of the appetizer while shooing away constant flies from our main food, our drinks and my beer. Generally appetizers come out before the main food, so this shouldn't have happened. I shouldn't have to be employed by Orkin just to enjoy my appetizer because someone in the kitchen can't properly time when appetizers come out (I've worked in kitchens before. I know how it is). I had the blt, I didn't realize until after i was done eating that the order wasn't correct. My blt should have come on toasted jalapeño cornbread, but came out on regular bread instead. My fiancée was the one who noticed and only then did I remember once I was basically done eating. Her food was good, messy but overall just ok. Gave two stars due to not getting several parts of our order correct, having to fend off the wildlife indoors because the timing was not correct which threw the rest of the meal off. My experience is probably unique and will not happen to most people. In fact you might go here 100 times and it's perfect every time, but this isn't your review, it's mine, and this was my experience. read more

We love Southern Hops. The atmosphere is relaxed & fun. Inside & outside seating. Variety of beers & ciders. Family favorites are: Inlet haze, Black widow (cider) & Black water porter.
