The experience and quality is H&M, but the pricing is at a premium. I just wanted a simple solution and was willing to pay $ for it. Fedex then refused to deliver to my address because I had forgotten the unit number. After waiting 45 minutes on hold with them, I confirmed my name , contact info and the order number, and called from the phone number on the package, but they refused to deliver. (I gave them the correct unit number, or gave them the option of leaving it inside of a locked gate at that address they had access to, but they refused). I contacted MM Lafleur via email hoping they could make it right, but they basically shrugged their shoulders and said 'we've processed your refund, you should have your money back in 7-10 days.' They claimed that Fedex said I refused the package, which couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm going to be working all weekend and don't have the time to go on a shopping trip. I would happily go to a Fedex location to pick it up, happily arrange to be outside the front address when it's delivered. Insult to injury, they said -- 'please update your address so this doesn't happen with future orders.' Sometimes people make mistakes with addresses, I've never had a Company refuse to contact the carrier to make an update. Just laziness with a side of "not my problem" attitude. It didn't seem like MM's customer service bothered to read my email and wasn't interested in engaging. (Maybe they're using AI instead of employees, who knows). Maybe their reps are paid based on how quickly they "resolve" cases. I know I shouldn't be shocked by crappy customer service, but I've had better experiences with Spirit Airlines. MM LaFleur -- do better.

Despite coming here 4-5 times, I've only once found one clothing item. I also think changing this policy would help their inventory! I have so many trendy/desirable items that I'd love to sell to them, but because of the time limit, I end up selling to Buffalo Exchange instead since their store credit doesn't expire.

It's the first week of spring and their big sale just ended, so it seems that they are showing off all of their newest pieces and it's making me so ready for warmer weather. Sales associates were everywhere and ready to help or answer questions, but still let me leisurely wander around. A great loc! If you are new to Madewell, I am a big fan of their denim & bags specifically. But there is always something new that catches my eye.

Madewell also has the jeans trade program. You can bring jeans from any brand and will get a $20 code to use on a full price pair of jeans. I might look online or try another one of their stores.

And the weekender store in SoHo is also nice but not as great at the Madison Store. I highly reccommend going there.

Right before Christmas I went to buy a Perfume for a male friend. Francine was there doing skincare that day. She told the young man to take very good care of me and to come back to her. I got a lot of samples. I went back and she treated me to not only skincare but did my makeup. Afterwards there was an amazing Christmas show. Santa came down the escalator with his elves. They danced and sang. Everyone stopped to watch them. Then they went up the escalators. I'm not sure but I think they had the parents and children go up stairs. I think Santa reads a book to the kids. The Holiday's is a great time to go to the NYC Flagship store. Been to the shoe department and saw some boots I liked. They did not have my size so I ordered them. The shoes came to my home but they did not look right. Ordered the next size down and had them delivered to the store. They fit perfectly so I got a refund on the first pair. Now I saw these beautiful Sam Edelman shoes and fell in love. They were my size but they were suede. I really had to think about this purchase because it was $220. Well I gave in and picked them up today. I've also ordered the same boots but in leather. I can't wait until they are delivered to the store. I ordered two different sizes to make sure I get the one that fits the best. The last couple of boots I ordered are a high boots with a wide calf. You know how hard it is to find these types of boots? I've always looked but was afraid to purchase because of comfort. All the boots I have purchased are comfortable.
