Wanted to do some back to school shopping for my daughter. I saw two coats I wanted for her, but wanted to make sure I found the correct size. The store was very crowded, which made it a little difficult to maneuver. I asked an employee for assistance and I felt like I was bothering her, so I decided to search for myself. The majority of the clothing seemed to be for toddlers and not big girls. The check out line was ridiculous. I believe they had two or three cashiers, but the line moved incredibly slow. Overall, I wasn't thrilled with the experience here and probably will just shop online for her instead of in-store.

I wasn't impressed with the store at all, yes it has a good amount of square feet, but I couldn't find anything that I liked. There's no escalator to the second floor, you have to walk up steps. And then in the men's area they didn't even have the sweaters that other Zara stores have! What a waste of time.

This is their flagship store -but they don't have a lot of different sizes. The sizes run small as well. The items are trendy which is what we wanted but did not love a lot of what we saw. You really have to go through everything and they are out of a lot. We did ask someone to help us find jeans and they were pleasant. We were able to try on items in the dressing room and we did hang everything up neatly for the employees - I have to tell you they work very hard. But the store feels like a mess. Managed to find a top to buy. I just read that the building is owned by the Kushner family which then in turn supports Trump and his policies. That part does not feel right to me. They also do not have a loyalty program which is not cool. Every store has one these days. So please Zara, get with the program, as they say.

I felt that they had a great selection of items and for the most part, the clothes were organized. I usually hate shopping in person because of the availability of different sizes but was pleased with their range of sizes. My one complaint would be the lines. Extremely disorganized and super long waits. It really wasn't made clear which section was for returns/exchanges versus purchases only. Ended up waiting on the wrong line for close to 10 minutes because the signage wasn't clear.

There is no restroom, they send customers across the street to the Nike store and the staff is rude.

I still preferred the old location near Macy's in Herald Square but can't complain too much as this…read morespot in Times Square is huge, over three floors of men's, women's, and children's clothing and accessories. Well organized, bright, spacious, and clean. I picked up a few things for summer season which were on sale. Many items I saw were on sale which they normally have throughout the year. Always some sort of sale going on top of their decent pricing. Clean dressing rooms and a public bathroom to use, but you need a staff member to let you in. Staff was nice and helpful. Plus, they have late hours here. Open until 11pm most days and until 1am on weekends.

I had purchased a bunch of stuff online, and unfortunately all of the jeans I ordered were too big (I think their size chart changed - that, or I lost weight lol). Instead of returning them, I decided to go exchange them as I really wanted them, they were just too big. This location is HUGE, which is why I decided to come here instead of the smaller one located near me. I figured there was a higher chance they would have my size in everything I was exchanging. Turns out, I was right! I took the jeans to the dressing room to try them on, and the attendant was great! She was super nice and even cleared out the few things left in the dressing room before leaving me to it. I'm finding more and more retail stores to have chaotically-messy dressing rooms these days, so this was super refreshing! After trying on the new jeans and confirming I got the right size this time, I stood in the checkout line to do the exchange. The guy who helped me was super nice! He explained that he would have to refund me for the original purchase, then charge me again for the new jeans but assured me I would get them at the same price. He explained that this is how Old Navy makes them do it and that it confuses a lot of customers (rightly so, I might add!). He also noted that it was smart of me to buy them online as I got a way better deal on them had I just purchased them in-store. Woohoo! While the exchange process took a bit longer than I had originally anticipated, it was super easy overall. Although I hate dealing with Times Square, I would definitely choose to come back to this location due to the size, the friendly atmosphere and because it's open crazy late. Definitely worth the trek, in my opinion!

I typically go when Im in Honolulu as we don't have UNIQLO where we live so I always make it a point to stop here when in NYC. The store is gorgeous and huge, three stories including a coffee shop on site! This 5th Ave location is known as the flagship store in NYC. Additionally, it's the largest Uniqlo…read morestore in the entire US and considered as one of the largest in the world. Has three floors in total in which each floor caters to different categories like heattech + men's + women's + children apparel + graphic tees. There's even a Uniqlo coffee shop on the 2nd floor. A large fake Christmas tree is placed in the center when first walking inside through the entrance. Then, a huge red escalator of heading up and down to each floor is behind the tree. Additionally. everything's either being neatly organized or stacked on most of the shelves and inside drawers except for a couple of areas here and there. The price range is reasonable for most apparel items besides the thick puffer jackets + sweaters + graphic tees. Even though there seem to be signs for the fitting room and cashiers/self-checkout, it's still pretty confusing to walk around and find stuff imo because of how large the Uniqlo space is. I have to flag down and ask different staff about the whereabouts of cashiers as I'm paying with cash. There's a bit of a line for those paying by cash despite several 5-6 cashiers being present while no line at all for self-checkout (card only). No line for the fitting room though. Generally, staff is shown as helpful + amiable + patient in a professional manner towards customers. My favorite section is probably by the heattech area. There're 3 various heattech types of warmth for both adults and children. Of course you can wear whichever layer as you please at the end of the day. All the desired temperatures are simply suitable for preferred reference anyway. The Original (Mild Weather) - 5°C to 20°C or 41°F to 68°F Extra Warmth (Colder Days) - -5°C to 15°C or 23°F to 59°F Ultra Warm (Extreme Cold) - -20°C to 10°C or -4°F to 50°F I think The Original layer of heattech is already pretty warm for the 30s-40s temperature here in NYC. The fabric is the thinnest in material. Very comfy to wear without being too stuffy on the inside. I bought two long sleeved heattech pieces today ($19.90 each). They also come in different colors and styles that might be suited to the personal taste of each and every customer. I'm not sure if they have a restroom for the public, will have to search for it next time...
