I love to pop into Zara every once in a while to check out their new clothing merchandise. They always have beautiful and unique clothes that I absolutely love. They have clothing for men, women, and children. They also have Zara fragrances which smell really good. They sell footwear as well. The items are moderately priced. read more

We all love Zara, and this location is great because its big. It's not as hectic as the Soho location and they have a lot of product. But... The dressing rooms were beyond dirty. I've never seen anything like it. One of the dressing rooms had multiple dead lantern flies, covered in garbage, dirty napkins, used drink cups... I tried to find the cleanest room (see photo). It was so bad, I couldn't even take my shoes off to try on the clothes. I'm sure the dressing rooms get dirty fast. There are literally thousands of people walking in and out every day. But it is an impossibility that those rooms have been cleaned in the past week, if at all this month. When I worked in retail, we swiffered every single day. This Zara location must have dozens and dozens of staff on hand... Management needs to get one of their staff to swiffer the dressing rooms each day. read more

I love Zara and and have spent a ton of money in the last couple months. What I think is horrible about Zara at this location and the 34th St. location! There Customer Service is the WORST! These employees could care less about the customers so I blame this on Corporate! You need to train your employees on how to treat customers that come into your stores! At least fake it and pretend that you care about customers concerns instead of a consistent eye roll. When I calmly and respectively voice my concern to a manager, they basically looked at me, listened, said, thank you and that was it. I didn't feel there was any type of support from the superiors at Zara. If you're doing a return from an online order, you need to be persistent on asking someone to help you if you were unfamiliar or you encounter a glitch because they don't want to be bothered. I have been waiting in line to return for a half hour with cashier. Terrible terrible service..

Wanted to do some back to school shopping for my daughter. I saw two coats I wanted for her, but wanted to make sure I found the correct size. The store was very crowded, which made it a little difficult to maneuver. I asked an employee for assistance and I felt like I was bothering her, so I decided to search for myself. The majority of the clothing seemed to be for toddlers and not big girls. The check out line was ridiculous. I believe they had two or three cashiers, but the line moved incredibly slow. Nasty rude workers in the children's department! Sunday morning 11:15AM no one in the store not busy and i asked a very simple question needed a garbage pail to throw something away. Was told "we don't have a garbage here!" In a very short rude response. I then proceeded to walk to a different area of the store where they certainly offered to point me in the direction of one. When i came back to the children's department I asked the same associate why she couldn't offer the same solution her response was, "i don't work in thar department!" Seems a very ridiculous and lazy answer on her part. I could have easily just thrown my garbage down and left it for them to clean up but i certainly have more manners than that. Zara is ok for a somewhat bargain basement type of store. I'm usually able to find a few cute pieces but I think most of them look cheap and it's always kinda unorganized and dirty feeling inside with clothes half hanging off hangers and haphazard. It kinda feels like the rush on a trunk sale end of year except it's always like that here. Checkout is madness - huge long lines moving super slow. AC wasn't working and it was 90 degrees so it was super hot. The staff were not friendly and acted like you were demanding something too much asking them to help at self-checkout when there were like 6 of them at the front. My blazer rang up wrong - although it was clearly tagged on sale for $45.99 with a huge red sticker. The girl told me it was full price $89.90 and I said well you'll need to retake every blazer over there and there were about 6 more. So she said "this time" she'll correct it. Ok big shot. Thanks soooo much. Meh. Zara is what it is. They have men's ware too and my husband likes it so we always stop in to browse. read more

There is no restroom, they send customers across the street to the Nike store and the staff is rude.

Staff is disengaged with customers and only want to gossip with co-workers and pretend they are "busy". Awful work culture at this store. I literally stood next to two employees yapping about non-work related gossip and when I attempted to get their attention to inquire about a size for my son, they pretended to be busy and slowly walked away. I had to yell "excuse me, can you help?" Before one of them turned around with an attitude like I was breaking up their gossip. Then the customer service effort was non existent. The employees literally make you not want to shop there. No wonder this store has such a low star rating! Zara should replace most of employees in this location since the employees are such a poor representation of the brand and are not qualified to engage with customers. read more

Warning: if you have been walking around for a long time and walk in here and try to sit, there's nowhere to sit. How can some place like this store have nowhere to sit? This is their flagship store -but they don't have a lot of different sizes. The sizes run small as well. The items are trendy which is what we wanted but did not love a lot of what we saw. You really have to go through everything and they are out of a lot. We did ask someone to help us find jeans and they were pleasant. We were able to try on items in the dressing room and we did hang everything up neatly for the employees - I have to tell you they work very hard. But the store feels like a mess. Managed to find a top to buy. I just read that the building is owned by the Kushner family which then in turn supports Trump and his policies. That part does not feel right to me. They also do not have a loyalty program which is not cool. Every store has one these days. So please Zara, get with the program, as they say. read more

I felt that they had a great selection of items and for the most part, the clothes were organized. I usually hate shopping in person because of the availability of different sizes but was pleased with their range of sizes. My one complaint would be the lines. Extremely disorganized and super long waits. It really wasn't made clear which section was for returns/exchanges versus purchases only. If I could give it one star.. I would. I purchased a pair of jeans that I was excited to wear but 2 days later when I was putting them on I was in disbelief that the zipper was BROKEN after I already took the price tag off. The sales associate said nothing while checking me out although they are trained to look over items before purchase. When I went back to return it they said it didn't have an inner tag with the fabrics on it that was required to return. However, the tag was not present upon purchase and I absolutely didn't cut the tag. Even with a receipt present they refused a return nor exchange for the exact pair and the manager told me to call customer service. My customer service call was just as bad as the store... He told me that store purchases are not their jurisdiction and to go back to the manager who was the one who told me to CALL! Now im stuck with pants and have to pay an extra fee at the tailor. PLEASE check your clothes FULLY before purchasing from them, they offer no resolution and play in your face. read more

What a messy store!! Having worked at a Zara in my twenties I know what the floor is supposed to look like -- this store has so many people in it at any given time they can hardly keep the go-backs going back where they need to go. It was also near impossible to find an associate with a radio to do a back-stock check on a couple of items. There were plenty of people working at this store but morale seemed to be, well typical for Zara employees. This is literally the worst store in the world. I have no idea how this place manages to make money. It is truly a miracle this place manages to stay open with the perpetual hot mess state it is in. The main issue is that the lines are always unbelievably long. The first time I came, the line to check out was 30+ people deep. I waited 15 minutes and gave up. I only needed to buy one item. I came back at a later time and the line was more reasonable, I checked out in 15 minutes. One of the items I purchased turned out to be of horrible quality; the seams were clearly misaligned and loose threads and stains everywhere: I hadn't noticed because I was in a rush. I came back to try and return the items and can you believe this - THERE IS NO SEPARATE RETURN LINE. To return anything you have to wait in the same checkout line downstairs that is 1+ hour long. Most people there are checking out. I guess no one bothers to return anything when their clothes cost less than a McDonald's cheeseburger: It is unbelievable. I just told them to take the item back because it's not worth anyone's time to wait 1 hour to get back $50. At least it's not for me because I make more than 2x that in one hour. Some of the staff try to be nice but half are incompetent. When I got frustrated at the situation they asked "why are you mad?" Ummm?? Seriously??? Why is the sky blue? Don't ever come here unless you are looking to waste a ton of time getting nothing done: this store is a complete dumpster truck on fire. Not to mention Zara quality has gotten really bad. Inditex Group deserves to crash and burn, horrible company with terrible ethics. No wonder their stock price sucks. read more

This is the dirtiest clothing store I've ever been in. Trying on clothes was hard bc I didn't want any of my clothes to touch the floor. I had to step out of my boots to try something on and now I feel like they're dirty bc I had to put my feet back in them. Gross. The girls in the dressing room area and about the store who have to constantly re-shelf clothes hate their jobs and they make sure everyone knows it. I worked in retail management for 15+ years and I understand what holiday stress does to retail Employees. The one consistent thing about this Zara store is the constant lack of urgency and disorganization. I waited behind 2 guest for more than 15 minutes while the 1 cashier looked bored and tired. A line behind me of 7 people waited patiently. When I finally got to the cashier she told me my online order needed to be picked up upstairs even though the email I received stated to go to the kids department. I went upstairs just to be met with another line. Tons of employees gather up (most likely talking about what zone they will be in) joked and laughed while the lines grew. I would understand if this just happened during the holiday season but this is truly Zara all year round. To all customers reading, please shop here when you have nothing to do at all.... I won't even mention the state of the store, the clothes thrown everywhere and the lack of signage pointing out where online pick ups are. Much better than the one in Brooklyn. There's actually someone near the fragrances who went to and grabbed more testers for me when the ones I wanted to try were out or not available. The fragrances were actually pretty organized compared to other Zaras I've been to. The sales associates i interacted with were very nice and helpful. I am usually a huge fan of Zara... but this location is a complete mess! There is no sense of organization or cutomer comfort. Most stores, for example, have all jackets and outerwear all in one area, so you know exactly where to find your items; this store has similar outerwear styles in different floors... you will be on your own finding your items unless you are one of the selected few that the employees CHOOSE to help. Second, there are no seats here... so if you are trying to fit some shoes, good luck trying to balance yourself standing on one foot while putting a shoe on, all while carrying your purse. Third, they have like a team of ten people in a fitting room, all standing there, doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They are selective with who they choose to help. I had to go out of my way to seek assistance finding an item I saw online. I was advised that I would have to wait 10-15 minutes and then I could find my item in the fitting room area... I waited a little over 30 minutes, standing in the fitting room. During this time, I was able to see how the employees here work. While I had to seek assistance multiple times, even asking to speak to the manager, other people had the same employees walk over to them to help. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Yelp reviews about it are true, bc I experienced it when I was paying for my items at the counter. I had a sale item with no tag, but my friend had the IDENTICAL item with price tag on it. The sales girl uses the sensor tag to pull up the price on mine, and it comes up costing more than the amount on my friend's sales tag. The sales girl says it does not matter if the item is identical, and she has to go by the sensor tag. She could have given me the same price, but she just did not want to because she was being rude and lazy. I still wanted the item even though I was annoyed bc of the principal of it. Then.....she picks up the next item and before ringing it up she says "this isn't on sale". I said: I KNOW that. So assuming and rude. They need to teach these ladies better customer service considering they are a FLAG SHIP store. read more

Zara is a great chain of affordable fashionable items at decent quality. I really loved the layout and flow of this location - its bright, airy, has a lot of staff on the floor, and hasa ton of inventory. Like other Zara's, the clothing placement can be a bit random - I always wander around a bit aimlessly. But since there is so much space, its usually a pretty fun experience. On this occasion, I was looking for a white blazer - but hopefully something with a bit more personality. I found three white blazers within 15 minutes (in various corners of the store). one I particularly liked didn't have a small ont he rack. The sales associate promptly called it in, told me it was on the way, and handed it to me within 5 minutes. (I kinda wish she did it with a smile, but hey, whatevs). Checkout was about a five minute wait. The sales racks at this Zara are a bit slimmer than at others, but lines move quick and the store is just gorgeous. I'll totally be back. read more

I am a former worker and I'll like to tell you guys that it's the worst job in history. You are literally a slave to them; they do not see you as a person. This is why the costumer service sucks in this store and It all starts from the top. The managers treat everyone poorly so of course the workers are not happy. The women's department is like working in jail. They uniform enslaved you and is garbage. They give you one of each pants and a white T-shirt and expect you to wear the same things for a week straight. The T-shirt is white so I thought maybe I can wear my own white T-shirt because I cannot wear the same white T-shirt for 4-5 days a week. I was scorned because I chose to be be clean. They gave me a write up because I basically told them I can't wear the one white T-shirt they gave me for 3-4 days that I'm there a week. The store manager sucks and the puppets under her as well. They all train each-other to see the employees as peasants. They do not work at all they are just there to delegate. They stay in the office 2/3 of their shift so yeah that's why when we calling for manager for customers they take ages because they are not on the floor. When corporate come they act like everything is fine and actually try to work. If you talk to corporate about what's happening in the store they retaliate by giving you less hours. They purposely hire Hispanic immigrants and make them feel at home and work them to death. They install fear in them by basically telling them if they don't do something on their time they will cut their hours. So now they work in fear because they have provide for their families. Half these workers work in the stockroom because the lack of English they speak so they are hidden. The stockroom manager Tito is a dictator to them. If you are not Spanish forget about it ! They do not see you! They speak Spanish so you are out of the conversation. There's a lot of favoritism so if you are not liked you get no hours. If you have an opinion forget about it!!! They will treat you like shit. The manager do not like anyone with an opinion because they fear others would have the courage to retaliate as well. It's all a power thing in that company. They are not for the workers they all about the money. Let me repeat, they are not for the workers so that is why these review underneath talks about the terrible service. If the workers are treated better they won't be so damn depressed and angry. They do not appreciate their workers at all. I'm so happy I left that shithole of a company. If you have a passion for fashion please run away from this company please. They will suck you dry and spit you out. They do not see potential, they see you as free information. They will use and and abuse you to make themselves look good. The managers do not know anything about fashion nor do they have a degree in some sort. They all just grow in the company lacking the proper knowledge and degree. So you are basically listening to a bunch of dummy's!! Overall, this particular location is spacious and comfortably laid out. Three floors, with Women and Kids on the Ground floor and in the lower level, with escalators taking you down to the lower level. And a set of stairs in the back taking you up to Zara Man on the upper level. Stairs a challenge? Yep, there's an elevator, too, servicing all floors. While I'm not much of a shopper for the women's and kid's sections, I make my way up to Zara Man. Compared to other Zara locations in the city, it feels like there is more room here to roam around and browse, a good-sized fitting room area, friendly staff, and lots of inventory. read more
