I didn't have an appointment, but they were able to fit me in after a five minute wait. All I needed was just a nail trim on my left foot and Kelly, my nail technician, did a wonderful service for me. This was my first ever visit to a nail salon and I have to say I was quite impressed. The facility was clean, well kept, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was in and out in 10 minutes and my nails look wonderful. I've had both a pedicure and a gel manicure, and I was happy with each service. They take appointment times seriously, and you'll be glad you planned ahead. I've been a walk-in both times. The only minor hiccup I experienced was during my recent manicure. Raymond paused my service when his scheduled appointment arrived, and I had to wait for another technician to finish my nails. I was a little irritated because I was on a tight schedule, but they handled it professionally, and the technician who completed my manicure did a great job. In the end, it all worked out. I scheduled my appointment for 4/24, but when I was about to leave, my phone alerted me that there was a tornado warning in my area and it was unsafe to drive. Luckily, I was able to call HV and easily reschedule my appointment to 5/25 with no problems! Upon my arrival, I was immediately greeted with a cold water and directed to my massage chair. I waited for about 10 minutes before a nail tech came over and started my treatment, which was no problem for me at all, but both the technician and the manager on duty were so apologetic and even added on extra time to my leg massage to make up for it! The way everyone goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction is what makes the prices at HV worth it. I was super impressed with my gel pedicure and my acrylic manicure, and I especially appreciated that the nail techs asked me several times throughout the process to make sure I liked everything. The design I got turned out even better than the inspo pic from Pinterest, and they have lasted over 2 weeks with no chipping or breaking! HV Nails is certainly on the pricier side, but trust me when I say you get your money's worth!

I got a standard pedicure, which was a pretty bare bones package of a lotion massage, hot towel, and regular polish. It was definitely not worth the over-$50 price tag. My acrylic manicure was equally disappointing. I wanted the color of my nails to match my toes, but the nail color was much brighter than the toe color and didn't look the same at all. I pointed this out to the nail tech, but all she told me was, "well it says the same name on the bottle so they're the same color." Furthermore, the design I was given looked nothing like the inspiration picture I showed to the nail tech--it was much sloppier and not even close to what I wanted. Look at the attached photo to see the flower "design" I had to pay extra for. Plus, my nails started chipping not even a week into having the set! I will not return to Luxury Nails, and I recommend trying places like Patrick Nails or HV Nails Studio if you want a higher quality experience.
