I've been here before and decided to give it a second try due to the high reviews. Short version: there are better places that are cheaper that do a better job. Long version: Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed again. As soon as I came in, I was quickly rushed to my chair, barely had time to soak my feet before the owner started cutting and cleaning my nails. I was the only one in the shop at the time and they kept asking me questions (which I don't personally enjoy). Everything was set up since I did make an appointment before. Anyways, the massage was super nice but the scrub was a maximum 20 second procedure. The nail paint job was rushed as more clients came in towards the end and some of my nails are crooked. I don't know if it's just because I'm Asian but my pedicure was very rushed and I don't feel like I was taken care of. after a more careful inspection of my toes, there are air bubbles on multiple toes and just the paint job was NOT done well! I'm still sitting here waiting for my nails to dry after 35 minutes with no checkup from anyone even after I asked if my nails were dry. They are busy but they need to hire more people. read more

I wanted to like this place. The experience here, wasn't worth my money nor time. You're going to have your feet soaking in cold water outside. She didn't remove the gel properly (damaging my nails), didn't want to change my color (that I wasn't satisfied with) because it was going to be "too much work", didn't remove all of the dead skin, and she doesn't want to fix it until 3 days later because she doesn't have time. I get gel polish as well, so when you're finished and it's messed up, you can't use nail polish removal to fix it. This place wasn't bad but if you're young and looking to get cute acrylic designs look somewhere else. I wanted to get acrylics cause I saw pictures here and on their website they offered it and when I came to my appointment she told me they only offer gel no acrylic. Ok that's fine I'll just get gel then but it came out super sloppy on my hands and I felt a bit rushed. 2 of the ladies working there were both working on me at the same time and it felt like they just wanted to get me in and out and collect my money. 80 dollars for gel mani and pedi plus a 20 dollar tip because 2 people were working on me at once so it felt wrong to just give one or the other the tip so overall I spent 100 for something I wasn't too happy with. What makes this place different from other nail salons is the ambiance and decor. You feel like you're getting your nails done in an antique furniture store. Pedicures start at $25, Ultimate Spa pedicure with paraffin $40. All pedicures come with exfoliation and hot stone massage..definite plus. Parking is either on the street, or in one of the free shoppers lots behind it. I'll post a photo of the services menu to help you yelpers out. Service is very friendly. My technician was really great with massage. While I was there, other clients were regulars (I'm judging by the overheard conversation)..one lady said she comes EVERY week for mani/pedi AND a massage. Talk about baller status. Definitely worth a try. Nice, quaint, they don't rush you. Not exactly cheap compared to other places, but hey, sometimes you get what you pay for. Left my heels dry and cracked and when I said something, the lady replied "it's the best I can do" I wanted gel on my toes and she talked me out of it repeatedly saying it wasn't necessary and if it chips to just come back and see her. I hate to give a mixed review because the staff was friendly and nice, but I will not be returning. My friend called ahead to assure they could accommodate our party of three simultaneously, two pedicures and one manicure. When we arrived, they had two employees on hand and were finishing up with a client, so we waited about 20-30 minutes. While the delay is a minor inconvenience, we get they were overbooked and were giving their clients the necessary time. What bothered us though, is they rushed through my manicure and one of my friends' pedicures, presumably because we are both men and might have a lower standard or frame of reference? In either case, I ended up with an impressively quick, but hacked up nail clipping which looks like I did it myself. As a guy who occasionally gets his nails filed and buffed to look like I know what I'm doing when I really don't, this was not worth it. My nails look like I did them myself, and that defeats the purpose. It's a shame, because the staff and the space were both lovely. read more

Nice nail salon in a great location. The nail techs are friendly as well BUT, here are the reasons I am disappointed with my experience. 1.Went in for a gel manicure and a pedicure. I spent 70 bucks, I left PO. My gel manicure chipped the next day. But I noticed the day she did it, that I had little air bubbles and ridges. I wanted to call for a redo, but honestly, I didn't feel like going back. $30 bucks down the drain. It was totally chipping away within a week. 2. Pedicure...so sad. I wanted just a standard pedicure nothing fancy. But i ended up getting a 40 pedi. Not by choice. That's what I was charged, even though when I booked the appointment I ask for a regular pedicure. I would have been ok with the price if the pedicure was awesome. Which it wasn't. 1 nail tech, worked on 4 pedicures at the same time. She jumped back and forth between clients. My water was cold & my nail polish looked a bit messy. I'm not cheap by any means. I like to spoil myself with a nice pedicure. I work on my feet all day! My normal nail spa is in Pasadena and I pay 55 bucks! But this was just not good 3. Nail polishes...most were old. selection was weird. a few opi and china glaze but then a bunch a random ones. Not alot of newer colors. 4. I was there for 2 1/2 hours. There was 3 techs and at least 6 clients there at once. The gals are nice. And the place is clean. But first and foremost, don't assume every clients wants a 40 pedicure. And they do ask for a 40 pedicure, then make it worth it. No quadruple booking, and no cold water :( read more

I went here yesterday after reading really good reviews on Yelp, but I wasn't that impressed with the services I received, and I feel that the ladies in the boutique took advantage of me by not asking what kind of pedicure I wanted and then giving me the most expensive one on their menu. I didn't know that they had their menu of services outside on a table, so I walked right past it and inside the "boutique" and looked for a menu, but didn't see one. I knew I wanted a pedicure, and figured it'd be around $30 (from what I've read on Yelp). I asked if anyone was available to give me a pedicure and they said sure. Little did I know that because I didn't clarify what pedicure I wanted, they were going to give me the most expensive one on their menu (that wasn't available inside). I was really, really mad when I found out. The lady didn't even ask me what pedicure I wanted! So instead of paying $25 +tip (basic pedicure), I ended getting charged $40 +tip! I was so pissed! Anyways, they got to me right away, which was nice, but they had 2 different people working on my feet at different times and they'd switch off between me and the woman next to me. It was weird because one lady cut down my nails on one foot and then another came and exfoliated my feet. When I asked if they were going to cut down the other foot, the original lady said she'd do it later. The massage was ok. I was intrigued about the hot stone massage, but it wasn't that fantastic, and the other massage was really just the lady rubbing her hands along my legs and feet. It was hardly a massage at all, actually. They never offered me a magazine to read or anything (I didn't even see anything available to read), and since I'd come from work I didn't have anything. I just surfed the internet on my phone, which was pretty boring. They also told me that the color I picked from their stock was too watery and asked me why I'd pick a watery one. Well, why would you have a watery color in your available stock? The chairs were uncomfortable and they never offered to turn on the massage for me, but they did for the girl that came in after me once I was almost done... which was really irritating. Also, they didn't do a good job on my callus removal. I was scrubbing my foot with a pumice stone today in the shower because it was still there, and I never have to do that with other places I've been. To top it off, I ended up paying $40 for it all. I was so pissed! I'll never go back here, especially since I feel that they took advantage of me by not offering a menu or asking me what kind of pedicure I wanted. This spa is so comfy and relaxing! I came here with my mom for some pedicures and the woman who did my feet was awesome. She scrubbed my legs with an exfoliating scrub and gave me a hot stone massage which felt amazing. They were able to see us immediately too which was great. The cons: My mom got a pedicure by a girl who might have been new because my technician kept giving her pointers as they were working. The girl working on my mom was a little rough and dug her tools into my mother's feet. While my pedicure came out nice and clean looking, my mothers had color around her nails and on the skin. The girl didn't clean up around the edges. They also didn't offer to turn on the chair massage either. I'm guessing we were supposed to handle that on our own though. They did ask us what type of pedicure we wanted and we told them we wanted the Basic $25 pedicures. They ended up charging us $30 each. My mom was shocked because they hadn't told us that was the one they were doing even though we asked for the cheaper pedicure. She didn't really mind it though since the massage was really amazing and we were in a pampered mindset. I'm not sure if we will make it our regular go -to spot just yet but for those special occasions when money isn't tight we will most likely come and splurge. The decor is warm and welcoming. Very clean and well maintained. You do pay a little more, but it's worth a and extra $5 not to have someone speaking another language over your head or giving you hard looks when you ask them to redo something. They're really cute, but really slow if you come in with a group..... Even though we had appointments ahead of time. The people with appointments right after us had to wait forever. My gel mani/pedi was amazing, but my mom's regular mani had smudged in minutes after we left, and my sisters pedi had chips the next day. Not ideal when it was for my wedding. Plus, it added up to a lot more expensive than we thought their prices were... We didn't fight it because we were so late leaving, but I really felt like they added to what we were told at the beginning. But there were a bunch of us so maybe we just didn't calculate right.
