Considering I've been there now for the sixth time every time it's been actually pretty good for a Groupon price of $36 for an hour massage. I got a person every time that was different but all massages seem to be about the same a pretty normal massage. Every time I left of course they would expect a tip which I left in time but the last time the lady was very upset with the tip and confronted me which was very unprofessional because Because based on the price of the massage I tipped her pretty well. It seems like if you don't tip at least 15 or 20 bucks they're probably going to be a little upset which is ridiculous. I've never written a bad review before but my experience here was just so bad, I had to. My fiancé got us a couples massage on Groupon. When he called to make the appointment the front desk person was just so rude. During our massage, we felt like it was extremely rushed and the masseuses did not know how much pressure to put. Nor did they ask what exactly we wanted. The masseuses did not know what they were doing.At the end, we both decided it was so bad we didn't want to leave a tip (which we never do and says enough in itself). We walked out and the lady at the front desk asked if we left a tip. We quickly walked out and when they realized we didn't leave a tip, they ran after us for their tip. She actually ran after us to our car. Now this is an extreme and we have NEVER experienced such bad service. We realize that leaving a tip is the norm but no where does it state it is mandatory. At the end of the day, we decided to not leave a tip because it was THAT bad. Do NOT recommend this place and will never go here again. read more

No stars. DO NOT GO HERE! My masseuse never introduced herself, asked my name, asked what my pain points were or if there was anything she should know about me/my health. Immediately she started slapping oil on my back and roughing me around as if she was getting ready to tan my hide. Twice I sat up and said it wasn't relaxing and even asked if she was rushing for another appointment. At one point she literally slapped oil on my back which made me gasp with surprise. Then she made the comment "nice body". Really? This was only made worse by other instances of zero professionalism like resting her hand on my butt while rubbing my back (three times by my count), laying the bottle of oil on the back of my legs and feet, sitting on my feet while resting her butt on the table to rub my legs, and brushing her breasts on the back of my leg while unnecessarily laying over top of me to vigorously rub the back of my thigh. Will be reporting this business to the BBB. Feel violated and am certainly in more pain and knots than when I arrived. If you are wondering why I didn't get up and leave, it's because I was in so much shock and being undressed on a table made me worry about how fast I could get out of there without a big disruption occurring. read more

I gave My daughter a gift certificate for Christmas for an hour "foot"massage for $20. It was her first time ever going to a foot massage. They took advantage of her never going, And told her 30 minutes on your feet and 30 minutes on the rest your body and she said fine. She told me that after the first 30 minutes on her feet they told her to go to the back room, get completely undressed and the next 30 minutes on her body. After everything was done she had a decent massage but they Charged her an extra $15! Very misleading that's not how it goes I would never go there. Plus if you get the man he snorts like a pig every four minutes like 3 good snorts. It's disgusting. Also two times I've gone they didn't have a receptionist so he would stop his massage on me answer the phone or his cell phone. I don't recommend this place at all! Pass it on read more

I am beyond disappointed of this place and people who work there. They are absolutely very rude, unfriendly, racist and definitely discriminate. My mom and I went in to get some facial cream for the first time. Since we didn't know which is better for us, we made an appointment for my mom. Our appointment was at 3:30 and the lady was suppose to look at her face and make recommendations base on her skin. We waited till 3:45 and she didn't even took us to the room. For some reason she was hesitated to take us back even though we were there to spend money. She keep asking "do you want to go back?" It's like we made an appointment for a reason right ? ... Anyways, she barely wanted to talk to us, no idea why and whatever she was recommending she keep saying "is this too expensive for you?" I told her I don't care about the money, we want to know what's good for her skin. My mom even asked her what kind of vitamin should I use, my mom doesn't have much of accent but the lady was "like what is that?" I said "vitamin" few times and then i said supplements. She acted like she couldn't understand us. We end up getting couple creams and they were so rude about it. They didn't even offer a bag and my mom is like do you have a bag?and the front desk girls said "it's 10 cents" and my mom was I don't care it's 10 cents. Can I buy a bag? Never been to a place who act and talk the way they did. They have their own clients and are nice to them but anyone new they are beyond rude. WOULD NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE.. I had been going here for sometime and everything was ok. Yesterday I went in for my usual weekly $20 foot massage and was told it was now $25 as they have changed owner's. She told me the owner's used to be Vietnamese but are now Chinese. So the Chinese charge more? Anyway, a guy in filthy dirty sweat pants (why didn't I just get the heck out of there I don't know) maybe I'm too polite motioned me to the chair and there began the worst massage EVER! He followed too light touch by awful bruising force and i was on tenterhooks, with the feathery touch followed by pain beyond belief. Normally they ask you to turn over on the chair and they do your back etc. This guy didn't bother he just told me to sit up and he started doing my shoulders again. SAVE YOUR MONEY! My husband and I read the reviews as they seemed okay and found a Groupon for $60. Made an appointment for today and as we walked in it was a dirty place. The lady at the front desk didn't say a word to us showed us to our room and said "undress" and left. The sheet they have to cover you is see through thing and super cold in the room. The worst part was the massage, 60 min of torture. This was the worst experience for both my husband and I. We are both so sore and can bairly move from pain. This place is the best! It is not a luxury spa, but it is clean and nicely decorated. I went in and was completely shocked that the price was only $60 for a 90min massage, I wasnt expecting much at that price... Wow! It was literally the best massage I've ever had! I took advantage of the special discount and paid for 90 minutes. I was looking forward to it, but was very disappointed. A bad experience and don't recommend going there. - Although I was on time for the appointment, I was kept waiting 15 minutes in the front reception area. Had spent the time watching the fish nipping at each other in the giant fish tank. I was informed that the masseuse whom I'd scheduled no longer worked there and was assigned another one. - The woman was a poor masseuse and made me feel very uncomfortable; didn't relax the tension in my muscles, rather she used her fingers like a knife. When her fingers became tired she spent much of the time applying heavy pressure by rolling her forearm up and down the back of my ribs, (not along the muscle I mean the bone). I asked a couple of times to massage another area, but she didn't understand English. After 60 minutes I felt so uncomfortable I stopped the session. This was the most unskilled massage I've ever had. The therapist, Michelle, was sweet though she spoke no English at all and she never sought muscles to massage. It was obvious she had no training. She lightly rubbed me, mostly making contact with bones and rubbing across the length of muscles rather than along them. She moved her hands and forearms quickly--it wasn't relaxing in the least--and she concluded at 50 min., rather than the hour for which I paid. The receptionist stopped me as I was leaving, demanding a tip, which I was about to give her; she was rude when I arrived and when I left. Upon arrival, she escorted me to the room, which was uncomfortably warm, telling me to undress and climb under the sheet. It was so strange not to meet, see, or talk to the therapist before she began touching me. During my massage, an intermittent buzzing sound came from the speakers, which played Asian instrumental music. The buzzing was very distracting as were the regular sounds of raised voices through the walls. I highly encourage you NOT to visit this establishment--it's not a "spa" nor will you have anything close to a spa experience. In the end, I was ok when she shorted my massage 10 minutes as I was anxious to leave. Hmmmm where do i begin? I have to admit the place is nice inside, very clean and brand new,the prices are reasonable but not worth it. I will never go here again. The lady basically ushered me in a room then shut the door, i had to open the door and ask what she wanted me to do? get undressed? is there a gown to put on? Then she came in and started massaging, which i'm not sure she went to school for because it did not seem as though she new what she was doing. She left the lights on, no music so i could here everything that was going on on the other side of the wall, which is Subway. Then her cell phone rang twice and both times she answered it and had conversations while massaging me????? i had a full body massage but she forgot to do the feet. After the massage i got dressed and went to the front to pay which was very ackward. I had one lady ringing me up and my massage person standing next to her staring at me while asking if i wanted to leave a tip, i gave her my card and said is there a line to leave a tip? she ignored me and ran my card so i assumed there was a line to leave a tip? Fine to those who can't handle a little cultural difference. Yes the people here speak little or no English. Perhaps they are insulted when you offer them a $6 tip for an hour of intense body work massage. All I can say is they offer the best deal in the bay area and I try to tip at least 30 or 40 bucks extra since $65 is way below the going rate for a massage of this quality. I stumbled upon this place as I saw a sign stating $19.99 1 hour Foot Massage. When I went in and asked for the $19.99 foot massage I saw advertised (RIGTH BY THE FRONT DOOR), the lady behind the counter tried to strong-arm me into taking the $35/hr Combo Massage. I declined several times and she very huffily and reluctantly let me have the service I wanted and that they advertised, i.e. the $19.99 foot massage - how gracious of her. Quite frankly, the massage seemed short (although I didn't note the start time) and when I left, I paid the $20 and left a $5 tip. The lady at the counter once again hissed at me, and I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Not very relaxing at all. Listen lady, you're in the service industry: if you're not going to honor a service that you advertise, don't advertise it in the first place. If you do advertise it, honor it, and certainly don't give the customer attitude for paying you to do something you said you would do. Also, when you get a 20%+ tip, it's a good thing. Wow, what a bummer! The massage was not too bad but when I was paying I went to leave a tip in cash. I needed change for my ten dollar bill (2 fives) and the girl who gave me the massage literally threw 1 five dollar bill at me and kept the other. (I got the $20 foot massage, so the tip was 20%. ) Super rude, would not look at me, never said thank you. I tried to see if something was wrong and she mumbled and walked away. First my sister mom and I called to see if they were available to do all 3 of us they said come right in they have plenty of people we were there within 5 minutes ended up only two of them being there my mom then had to wait 25 minutes. They rushed us all tried skimping me 10 minutes and my mom 20 minutes. They talked loudly to each other the whole entire time and they barely touch you unless you say "no can you actually massage me". I do not recommend this place. read more

Went to Bliss Day Spa on the reccommendation of a friend. So the overall massage, full, body was really good.It was a little hard at times but when I told the girl to go softer she obliged. DO NOT get a message here if you are expecting a trained masseuse. We bought a groupon, which we will be requesting a refund for, for a couples massage. Right away I knew my masseuse was not trained. I could stay on the electric table that kept moving up and down any longer nor could I look at the crocs he was wearing that kept making notice on the floor nor could I listen to the timer that kept going off every five minutes not could my stomach take the unprofessional touch, so I got up, wrapped the sheet around me and put my clothes on in the bathroom. When I came back to get my shoes I noticed that my husbands sheet was well below his gluteus Maximus so I quickly covered him appropriately up and high tailed it out. They do not use professional products either as I noticed the bottle of lubriderm in the basket. If I could give zero stars I would. Waiting room is super hot - no ac. Just skip this place and spend the extra somewhere else. read more
