Got to give credit where it's due, he makes our outings super comfortable and our indoor/outdoor set up was the talk of the event. Even in the heat I was cool; I had portable fans, misters, a couch, a rug, people said it was our condo! Lol This was the perfect place for an event like this where the community came together. Plenty of vendors could participate because of the size of the field. Music was great, safe to say that the Boots on the Ground line dance is officially fading out, only the 50 yr and older crowd got up to dance. Bathrooms were not too bad, and I appreciated that there were workers keeping up with the cleanliness of the regular restrooms on a Saturday. From the first greeting when I arrive until the goodbye when I leave, the service feels friendly and genuine. The entire facility is always clean, well maintained, and kept in excellent condition. The equipment is top-notch, and there is a wide range of options for strength training, cardio, swimming, and fitness classes. I also play pickleball here regularly, and the pickleball program is one of the main reasons I enjoy this location so much. The staff is always helpful, and the courts are excellent. I have played at other indoor facilities and on outdoor courts, and these are the nicest courts I have experienced. Parking is also easy. There is a large garage with plenty of available spaces, so finding parking has never been a problem. The price is definitely at the premium end, but you are getting a premium facility. Between the excellent staff, high-quality equipment, lap pool, extensive fitness classes, pickleball courts, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere, I believe the membership is well worth it. That was the norm for most of my life since I've been in Annapolis. The last two years the line o get in has been a huge deterrent not to go. The facility itself is rly nice. I personally think it's overpriced to get in (compared to other public pools). Once you're inside you can stay for however long you'd like. Overall amazing facility but don't bank on getting in or be prepared to wait in the sun in a long line for God knows how long.

Coach Edson is not just a great coach but a welcoming mentor, a wonderful teacher, and a good friend. Though I had a bit of experience as a boxer, Coach Edson took me under his wing and was patient while I lost weight, struggled through old man injuries, and slowly regained a sense of my athletic self. He's encouraging without being over bearing, he doesn't motivate through intimidation rather inspiration, and he's that way with everyone. What a welcome and much needed addition to Annapolis.
