I've been to many Korean spas in LA and this one ranks the #1 in cleanness, amenities, and service and the prices. Amazing scrub and massage by JoAnne (I don't thing it's her real name. Gross, gross, gross. The place looks clean, but looks are deceiving. I was there today and on the mats outside the salt and clay rooms was a woman doing yoga with no towel, no robe, nothing. Private parts rubbing all over the mat. I told the manager/owner and she just looked at me blankly. No acknowledgement. No apology. No, "oh we'll look into it". She simply did not care. Yo people, know this now. You are risk from contracting herpes or some other sexually transmitted disease at this place if you are not SUPER CAREFUL. That is no joke. I was there over 3 hours and didnt see anyone wipe down or scrub anything once. People are gross and you see the worst of it here. One woman was hocking and spitting in the shower area like a 6'2 220 pound man. You can feel the slime on the floor in that area and since they dont provide slippers you will have no choice but to. There are no signs anywhere about hygienic practices, telling people to wear underwear on the mats and the like. Its clear to me they simply dont care. Im sure they will when a lawsuit happens and the health department shuts it down. If you must go, bring baby wipes covered in rubbing alcohol and wipe down every single area your butt touches. Also flip flops. At the time of writing this the steam room was broken. They conveniently dont let you know that before you pay either, so call and check that the facilities are in working order. read more

This is THE spot! Great quality for the price point. The staff is really kind and there's even Korean sheet masks for sale at the front desk (which I highly recommend!) All of the jacuzzis and the different saunas are so relaxing and beautiful. Super clean with delicious detox tea offered in the lounge area. When you go to a Korean Spa it's all about expectations. I read some of the negative reviews; and you have to know what you're getting into. It's not for the shy or for people who don't understand that yes, you're going to be naked; walking around. The scrub room is a big open room; with many beds... while you're getting your scrub no one is looking at you. I thought my scrub was excellent; I left thinking "I need to do this more!!!" After the scrub; you walk; naked; to the shower; which is also open.... no one was there when I went; but, that's the way it is. My massage was wonderful. My hair was washed and conditioned; and something was on my face while I was being massaged. Again; if you embarrass easily; or are used to body parts being covered while being massaged; than think before you go to a Korean spa. Mmmkaaaay! I never knew a love like this before. I've always been hesitant to try out a Korean Spa for sanitary reasons (I am a little OCD) and also I'm prude when it comes to strangers all up in the Birthday suit bidnesssss. But my girlfriend convinced me to give it a try as both of our stress levels have been through the roof. What a JOY! This experience was everything and more! You walk into this zen spa that's located on the second floor of an unassuming plaza. (I got dropped off but there is valet available. I think it's under $5) and your life changes! Everyone is shoeless, most likely naked under their robes and then you are given a robe and two towels (1 large , 1 hand towel) there is a smell of homemade Asian style food as you walk towards the back area which I LOVE that there's a kitchen area for you to get some eats in while relaxing. It came across They have signs indicating the order in which you can enter the rooms or you have the option to do it in however order you please. V-steam is the service I did and doing that granted me a $10 entry fee to the spa. So $40 for the few hours. I am LIVING for that $40 being so well spent! This was my first Vsteam I had been wanting to try one for the longest time. I would like to do some more and then I can gauge on the improvement of some of my issues but it was for sure a new type of experience and sensation. The woman cooking the food prepared herbs in a pot and then took me into a room where there are square boxes (chair height) with holes in them. Kinda like a cushioned box toilet with no lid. She put a sanitary paper/cloth over it and gave me a pink sheet-like cover that exposed only my head and arms and would drape over the box to enclose the steam. The pot of herbs went on a portable burner underneath the box and voilaaaaa after about a minute or so there's steam floating up your PumPum! It felt great and I had to take breaks and also turn down the setting. (Didn't wanna burn my vag up) it's about a 30-40 minute transaction. They have magazines, i recommend bringing a book and if you can sneak...bring your phone to quietly listen to some meditation or spa music. Very peaceful. I enjoyed it. Overall wasn't really THAT uncomfortable it was just the initial nakedness in the shower that I felt like my soul was visible for all to see but then when I got over it. It was amazing! read more

This is my favorite low-key K-Spa in LA. It is the perfect place to detox and enjoy the labeled 1-10 experiences inside of the spa. Not typically as packed as some of the others, the sense of relaxation is wonderful and needed living in SoCal. The Himalayan Salt Rock Room is amazing as are all the other specialized rooms in this underground oasis - they also have good WiFi and an area to chill, drink water / tea / coffee and just relax. I booked a Pearl Massage and Suzan went crazy on my skin! I never had a scrub before! My skin feels reborn! She took such good care of me. Also had no idea it was a women's only nude spa! I was so unprepared to be naked but, I quickly felt safe and comfortable and got booty naked too. I tried all the spa rooms and it was unworldly! I felt like I was ona different planet down there. Disappointed is an understatement. I was excited to try this place and booked the lavender soothe which included the body scrub, hair wash/treatment, and face mask/facial. The majority of the treatment was the body scrub which I didn't care for since my skin is still burning 10 hours later, but I was expecting a decent massage for the price tag of $145 not including tip, which was nothing but a super fast moving oil rub; not even a mediocre foot massage you'd get at a nail salon. Even the hair wash that I though was at least going to include scalp scrub/massage, was just a 30 second wash and I don't recall receiving a facial, just a face mask and no hair treatment, which would usually sit on your hair for few minutes. When I brought this up to the front desk I was told that I'd have to book a private room massage to get an "actual massage". Just be aware that the "therapist" is not an actual masseuse. read more

Which really sucks because I don't want to be rushed at the spa like 3 hrs isn't really enough 1 hr massage and then 2 hrs to relax..? This was the first time I've been to a day spa. I found this hidden gem off Groupon, amazing deal. $15 for admission ‍. I am in love in love with this place, I came 2 days in a row. It's a 10 step thing which I thought was cool. Made it easy to enjoy the whole experience. Step 1: Shower and Jacuzzi Step 2: Sauna Step 3: Eucalyptus Steam room Step 4: I wanna say it was the treatment add-on room Step 5: HIMALAYAN SALT ROOM. My personal favorite, heated, very relaxing with Himalayan Salt rocks and slabs all along the walls and floor. Step 6: Charcoal Mud Room(also a favorite and is heated) you have your own bed of these heated balls of clay Step 7: Infra Red Room, didn't care for this room much but I did buy a little $2 mask at the front and put it on in here. The lights in there have toning and tightening properties. Step 8: I can't remember lol Step 9: Ion Cooling Room , it was definitely needed after all the heat and detoxing. It cools your internal temperature and closes your pores up. Step 10: I want to say way the Nutrition room. I didn't have any nutritions so I skipped that step and drank the fruit h2o and coffee lol. Day 1 I took my sweet time and spent about 20 minutes in each step and it was about a 3 hour stay. Man was it lovely, gosh... I loved every minute Day 2 of my experience wasn't as long as day one, I came 2 hours before closing. I did an Herbal V Steam. You are naked underneath this cute geisha like gown they wrap around you, its long and covers the cute little stool chairs when you sit . The chairs have a good sized hole in the middle which they cover it with a special kind of paper on top of the hole for sanitation and protection. Underneath the hole is a single burner about 6 or 7 inches from touching the chair on the bottom. Theres a pot with all different kinds of herbs and leaves with water. The chair has an opening where your legs go so you turn your burner up or down as needed. It DOES get hot lol.. I jumped a few times, but once the steam dies down you feel no heat, atleast I didn't so I'd turn the burner back on. It was a 35 minute treatment. It's a coochie detox and helps with cramps/menses and stuff uterus and vagina related and its the cheapest item on the menu lol ‍. I had a good time. The staff were very kind. It's not awkward at all. LADIES ARE NAKED, I repeat NAKED lol All shapes, types, and tones. Come here with friends or alone like I did. I enjoyed myself for my birthday weekend and I'd definitely come here again my next visit to L.A. read more
