Absolutely horrible experience. If i could give it 0 stars i would. My sister and i came for a mani pedi we walked in at 12:35, the appt was at 12:30. we were seated right away. but no one came to me until 1:45. The only polite person there was the one sitting at the desk practically running everything. finally someone came to me. they finished and set me at the dryers. i was confused because i paid for a mani pedi and they left after the pedicure. i then told the front desk person and she ran back to get someone. i was then sat down and had my nails done. but i notices and older lady sitting next to me who was left there with no one helping her. at the end i was there from 12:35-3:00 o'Clock. the only good thing about it was that i was told i would only be charged for the pedicure but the total came to be $103. Stopped into this nail salon without an appointment to get a no-chip manicure removed. The owner, Ruth, took care of me and did a great job and couldn't have been nicer. Went back two weeks later for mani-pedi with Hannah and she also did a nice job and took her time to, which so many salons do not do. The salon is bright and cheerful and really clean. Everyone is very friendly, prices are good and there is a huge assortment of polish colors. read more

Be aware of false advertisement on their windows. They do not perform some of the services noted (full sets, fills, etc.) I saw their door said they did as I was walking out of a Salon next door so I called to make an appointment and the lady that answered said no they do not do those services so I mentioned what I saw on the door and she said yeah no we do not do that anymore. Love this place. I can always get in for a last minute appointment, they are reasonably priced (40 for a mani-pedi) and they perform a great leg massage, plus paraffin wax on your hands and feet included in the cost. My manicures, which when done elsewhere may last 4 days tops manage to last over a week when done here. Tons of polish options and very nice technicians. read more

The manicurists in the salon were all very kind and friendly, however after watching people come and go within the pedicure station I noticed that the quality of sanitation was nonexistent. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time I saw them "clean it" but then noticed that rinsing the sink was all they do. My sister got a pedicure there and her cuticle bled a little and they continued with the pedicure and putting her feet into the sink. After she was finished, they, again, only rinsed the sink- which naturally scared me for my sister having an opened wound on her toe and it being places in a nonstarle sink. Furthermore, when I examined my nails when I got outside I noticed bubbles in the paint, which is unacceptable. If this were a review in personality, this team would get 5 stars from me. Unfortunately, between the sanitation circumstances and the end nail results, this is a 1 star nail salon in my eyes. read more

Very clean salon and very friendly staff. This is the best manicure I've had anywhere! The man who helped me, maybe the owner, was so kind and recommended that I not get no chip so that my nails could heal from years of acrylic/gel nails. The manicure was done by another lady who was very gentle and took her time clipping my cuticles and then even applied some type of manicure oil, messaged my hands and forearms. Lastly they give a shoulder massage! It's been a week and my polish still shines. I can't wait to go back! What a treat! read more

I went in for a mani pedi with Amy. Amy did a decent job on my pedicure although she forgot to clean under the nails. But on the manicure she left a lot of rough edges . She also wasn't very good at applying the polish evenly at the cuticle. read more

Both my daughter and I had mani/pedi's with Groupon. Both of our mani's started chipping the next day. They add thinner to their nail polish. I asked because there were some bottles that appeared to be full, but when you unscrewed the top you could see gunky old polish. Even though they used a new bottle on me, the base coat must have been old. IF YOU GO THERE, BRING YOUR OWN BASE, POLISH AND TOP COAT. Not much attention was paid to pushing back or cutting cuticles. They were in a big hurry. Everything looked like it was falling apart, for example, seams on their chairs, missing buttons on the dirty hand held devices for the massage chair, etc. I did enjoy the hot wax treatment on my hands and heels, but I will not be going back. I also do not appreciate it when manicurists speak teach other in a foreign language in front of English speaking customers. read more

One of the worst pedicures I've ever had. First time in, I got a young girl in her twenties. She seemed extremely put out to be there. My pedicure was AWFUL - she cut my nails at a strange slant, didn't do any kind of buffing or exfoliating...and glommed on the nail polish so thick that five hours later, it's still not dry. I put shoes on and the whole thing is ruined, which doesn't really matter since it was terrible to begin with. Seriously awful. Apparently they also give a shoulder massage at the end. She put the same level of enthusiasm into that as she did my pedicure. A full minute of going through some really mediocre motions. Maybe the older ladies are better, I don't know...and frankly never will. At $35 for a pedicure - definitely not on the cheap side - I walked out feeling completely ripped off. I don't mind paying for a job well done, but this was PATHETIC...and even now, hours later, am still bothered by how lousy an experience it was. Save your money, go anywhere else. read more

I'm a return customer here and Jack and staff are fairly consistent. I love the chair massages and the pedicures are good too. To those who complain about the no chip manicures, I've never been to a salon that cuts cuticles before a no chip,unless you specifically request it. This place is OK but not great. My pedicures were OK, but it bothered me that my toe nails appeared to be clipped too long and at slightly uneven lengths. Also, the chairs are looking really worn out. The environment is somewhat hectic and not entirely relaxing. The upside is that the price is reasonable and they are accommodating. read more

I have been coming to Spa Nail City for over 10 years. Until a year ago, before new management took over, the service was top notch and the atmosphere and decor were impeccable. Now with new management, the service is a average, but the biggest difference for me is that the salon is extremely cluttered, disorganized and does not appear clean. After checking out the reviews I decided to buy a groupon for a no chip manicure & pedicure. I am so disappointed. The lady who did my mani pedi said she has been there 7 years, yet it looks like a 7 year old did my nails. My pedicure is terrible and nowhere near the cuticles or straight, she used her nail as opposed to really cleaning it up to look nice. Then my no chip manicure wasn't a manicure at all, she filed my nails but did not soak them, push back my cuticles or cut them. She just filed and started to paint. This pains me, but the place has slipped below acceptable standards. I've been coming on and off for years, and it used to be good. It has had ALOT of employee turnover and they seem to have hired a lot of inexperienced people. I've had three horrid manicures in a row. The first two were just sloppy polish, bad cuticle cuts, etc but the last one was so bad it will take several weeks for my nails to recover. Some were cut so short that they bled. I kept telling her they were too short, but she told me they were damaged and needed cutting. I get a mani every 7-10 days. There was no damage. She just blew it. I finally got a manager but by then it was a mess. A real shame. I hope they can do some better hiring in the months ahead, but I won't be back to find out. read more

Last minute reservation with a friend who has been here before for a pedicure. I arrived after my friend had been seated in her chair and was done before her, which made my pedicure feel a bit rushed even though there were other chairs open for other customers. Consistency would be nice. My pedicure looks good except they did not shave off any callus from the bottom of my feet, which is something I am used to getting at other salons, so my feet still look cracked, calloused and dry. They do a paraffin treatment to the heal which felt really nice but did not do anything to soften my feet longer than the day I had them done which was rather disappointing. I appreciate that they use single serve files, buffs, and toe separators per customer - something I noticed not every other salon does which in hindsight is a bit cringy with nail fungus and such. Would return if they actually did remove callous because that's one of the main reasons I get a pedicure in the first place. read more

Lady at the front desk comes off rude and very pushy/eager to get your money. The nail technicians were nice, I had a woman named nara. I am fairly pleased with my nails, she got the job done, though I felt somewhat rushed through it. At the end of my mani-pedi, the lady at the front desk told me my time was up and kicked me out of the nail dry area 10 mins before the salon closed, which could be understandable (i've worked plenty of retail jobs), but shows me they don't really go above and beyond to please a customer, which is important if they want to keep their business flourishing. overall, i am pleased with the outcome of my nails which matters most, but i did not like the treatment/vibe that shadowed over it all because of the pushy receptionist. read more
