From the second you walk into the queue, the futuristic vibe pulls you in. The music, lighting, and space-themed atmosphere build up the anticipation perfectly without feeling outdated. Even if the line gets a little long, it moves at a decent pace and keeps you entertained. Once you're on the ride, it's pure chaos--in the best way. The darkness makes every twist and turn feel faster and more unpredictable than it actually is. You can't see what's coming, so every drop and sharp turn catches you off guard, which makes it way more thrilling than your typical roller coaster. The soundtrack and sound effects really elevate the experience too--it feels like you're blasting through space at high speed. It's not the smoothest ride ever, but that kind of adds to the intensity. Overall, Space Mountain is one of those rides you can go on over and over and it never gets old. It's fast, immersive, and just the right level of thrilling without being too intense. Definitely a must-ride every Disneyland trip.

Space Mountain is located at the Tomorrowland area of Disneyland. It was the first one ever built and there is now a version at Disney World. It's an indoor roller coaster that is in complete darkness. You can't see where you're going which makes the sharp turns even more unexpected. I was basically being pulled along for the ride and had to hold on for dear life. We were in the front and I genuinely didn't know which way we were going. Out of all the rides we went on Space Mountain was my favorite. It was by far the most intense and if I wasn't awake before, I was awake leaving the ride. This was the one ride that I definitely wanted to ride again and I would've if the lines weren't so long.

Our favorite fast ride! The lines will get pretty long up until about 9pm, but we love riding during the day since it's such a dark ride. You almost can't see anything at all, just like how it would be in space.

Arguably one of the best rides at DLR! It's such a fun ride and lately the wait (knock on wood) isn't super gnarly. Space mountain is a classic and will forever be THAT RIDE. A worth it wait in my opinion :)

So when we went it was "Hyper Space Mountain" during the May the fourth be with you at Disneyland. This was the coolest Space Mountain has ever been. The inside had many Star Wars movie clips, graphics, and sounds that coincided with the movements of the ride. Disney did a great job of upgrading this ride.

DISNEYLAND RIDE #1: Space Mountain. Space Mountain, located inside Tomorrowland, is one of my favorite rides at Disneyland ever, and of course this was the ride we chose to go on first as soon as we entered the park. The wait time for this ride without the Lightning Lane Pass was about 45 minutes. I remember going on this ride for the first time when I was about 6-years-old, which was also my first time at Disneyland (my parents still have the photo somewhere at their house!). The dark and loud atmosphere of this ride made it scary for me as a small child, but now that I'm much older, I must ride Space Mountain every time I visit Disneyland. This ride is PhotoPass eligible, meaning that you can get a complimentary photo through the Disneyland app by entering its' ID number upon exiting. Long wait times for short rides are sometimes worth it, like this one. It's been a long time since I've rode a rollercoaster of any kind, and with Space Mountain having sharp, quick turns mostly in the dark, I always think that I'm going to hit my head, although it will never happen. We had that big adrenaline rush all over us as soon as the ride was over, but it wore off pretty quickly. Hands down, greatest ride of them all!

Zoom zoom! One of the original E-ticket rides! They've changed the queue since I first went many years ago. Still as fun and fast as the first time. Keep on Yelp'n!

Want a white knuckle hold on to your life ride? You might experience that to a certain degree on this ride. Darkness, bright colors, sways, sudden turns you can't see what's coming ahead which adds anticipation as a rider. No one asked to go again as they actually did on Incredicoastet twice.

Space Mountain is still one of my favorite rides at Disneyland!! It's fast and will definitely have you wanting to go back on it again! The line here was much shorter than I've experienced at DisneyWorld's Magic Kingdom, granted we did go on a weekday haha. You MUST GO on this ride if you're planning to go to Disneyland!!

    Chris T.

Lady took me to Disney for the first time. I already knew of space mountain and it definitely was a fun ride, wish it was a longer run time but overall the twists, turns, thru space in dark runs, let anticipation flow and it was a fun ride. Definitely on a weekday lines wasn't as bad plus add the speed pass and we were in and out quick. Ride multiple times if we had more time. Definitely a favorite from my first time here!

Extreme fun. Love this. One of my favorite rides in Disneyland, next to incredicoaster and guardians of the galaxy. Best ride in the Disney park alone tho.

I'm a big guy wearing a 3X shirt and a 50-in waist and I barely fit in here... But I make it work, So have hope- I sit in the back row and almost have to fold one of my legs under my other one so the bar can close down. Really fun ride! Your picture is taken right after the first star tunnel.

What a nostalgic ride this is, and it never gets old. As being an annual pass holder, this ride will always be in my rotation of go to rides to get on. This ride always has one of the longer wait times,, but it's worth it.

Unfortunately, it was very rainy in March when we came so bad timing on my end. I don't live in socal so this was a long trip to make it out here, but we had a blast at Knotts Berry! We go to the amusement parks in Norcal and find Knotts Berry to be a lot better! They have a kiddie area called Camp Snoopy. I think it surprisedly well maintained and the rides are fun - some of them are very similar to Planet Snoopy rides too. Camp Snoopy has 1 rollercoaster ride that i think tops it for the kiddos - sidewinder is pretty amazing. If your child is tall enough to wind it, this is truly a great introduction rollercoaster with twists and turns. The other parts of the park was also very fun. I like the adult rollercoaster section because the theme/vibe reminds me of a beach like santa Cruz Broadwalk type. Overall, I am a fan of this park especially for the kiddos. Snoopy did make some appearances so the kiddos were excited. Highly recommend checking out!

If I could give no stars I would. We (AIE Tours at Knotts…read moreand I) have been in contact several times in the last 6 months, as I had tried to schedule bringing my senior citizens to Independence Hall for a visit. Initially I was told that they needed to pay a $55 park entry to have guided tours. That seemed silly for 85+ year olds since they would not be entering the park, so I was then told that self-guided tours were available. This is where it gets wonky. And where I'm honestly super angry. I scheduled for two of our communities to bring 23 people to Independence Hall for a self-guided tour yesterday (Thursday, September 10th). I contacted the tour department by phone on Wednesday, stating that I was bringing said seniors to an unguided tour the following day and asked if there was a better place for us to unload. We had a long conversation about where we could unload the residents that was closer to Independence Hall (BTW there is nothing for them). Imagine my frustration when we get to the parking lot and the attendant tell us that Independence Hall is closed for renovations (which apparently is not true). Are you freaking kidding me? We drove 45 minutes and my sister community drove even longer from RPV to come to see Independence Hall. Do you not think it would have been wise for the representative to let us know that it was closed? I researched it while I was having lunch with the residents at the at the restaurant. (Imagine driving 45 minutes just to eat lunch...) I could be wrong but NO WHERE on your site does it say that Independence Hall is closed. I finally googled it when I got back to work and found out from a 3rd party that this began September 2 and that going forward it is only open Saturdays and Sundays 'for budget reasons'. I have been an activity director at this high end community for 21 years. in that time, we have gone all over SoCAL from San Diego to Simi Valley and everywhere in between. I have NEVER has such a massive fail. You guys have screwed all of this up more than I can understand. We will not be back, and you just lost a long time fan of Knotts. Sidenote: Mrs. Knotts Chicken restaurant was delish and the staff was amazing. Still not worth 90 minutes round trip.

The kids had a great time, and our party host was wonderful. This review is not about the staff…read more Our party host was friendly, helpful, and did a great job keeping the party running smoothly. My frustration was with the way management handled changes to party packages. I booked and prepaid for my son's birthday party in June (for a July party) during a promotion. Before the party, I even called the party hotline twice to go over the details of my reservation, and at no point was I told that the attraction tiers had changed or that there would be optional upgrades available. When we checked in with seven excited kids ready to play, I was told I would need to pay additional fees as their packages had changed. Mind you, I had already paid the $200 for the party in June. I had to pay $35 for an extra kid because the new package included 5, not 6 kids. In addition, I had to pay an additional $9 per child if I wanted everyone to have access to the attractions they wanted to use. That wasn't the time to be making an unexpected spending decision, and realistically I wasn't going to tell a group of kids that some of them couldn't participate. (I was prepared to pay for one extra kid and an extra pizza). We ended up paying $360 instead of the $260 I had budgeted. To add to the confusion, I also didn't receive the balloons that were included with my party package. After reaching out to management, they explained that the attraction tiers had changed after I booked and clarified how the pricing worked. While I still think the communication leading up to the event could have been much better, I do appreciate that they took the time to respond, acknowledged that the communication wasn't clear, and offered two complimentary Unlimited Play passes and a large pizza as a goodwill gesture. My suggestion to Urban Air would be simple: if party packages change after customers have already booked, proactively notify them before their event. It would avoid confusion, unexpected charges at check-in, and allow parents to make informed decisions before arriving with a group of excited kids. What would be even better is that when you book a package, you are locked into that price and details instead of it changing. I would be really hesitant to book another party here because I wouldn't know what price I would ultimately be paying day of. Overall, the kids had a blast, and we'd likely return to play. I just hope the communication around birthday parties improves, because that's what took away from an otherwise fun celebration.
