Wood Oven Roasted Blue Prawns 4.5/5 Tender and the sauce was exceptional Austrian Veal Weinerschnitzel 4/5 This was also very good, it was cool to pop the breading since it was so airy. It was nice and crunchy and the veal was so tender. Loved the sides as it helped complement the veal and it was fun olaying with different flavors. Agnolotti 3.5/5 This was our least favorite. Didn't enjoy the peas so much. It was also a little salty. Pappardelle Bolognese 4/5 Really enjoyed the sauce, meat was very tender and juicy. The Pappardelle was a little more Al Dente than we would have liked. Wished it was cooked slightly longer for a softer bite. Mediterranean Octopus 4.5/5 Octopus was so tender. Very well balanced and light. It was very pleasant. Hamachi Sashimi 4.5/5 Very refreshing and delicious. House Smoked Salmon Pizza 5/5 This is an absolute banger! Expensive pizza but totally worth it! The dough and crust is so light and chewy with a nice crisp. Everything about it was amazing. Highly recommended. Pan Roasted Half Jidori Chicken 4.5/5 This was really good too! Loved the perfect cook of the chicken. Crispy skin and very juicy. The mashed potatoes were heaven sent. Only thing I wish for would be a side of roasted greens. Highly recommend this too! The view was AMAZING, overlooking the Bellagio fountain and a great view of the Strip at night. Got to see the water show frequently too! For appetizers, we got the Maryland Blue Crab Cakes (it comes in 2 but we added a third crab cake since there were 3 ppl), Wood Oven Roasted Blue Prawns and Prosciutto Di Parma Buffalo Mozzarella. After walking past this restaurant for years and years, we finally stopped in for a little bite. I know the Chinois Chicken Salad $28 is famous. I found it to be ok. Fresh off of our visit to Hell's Kitchen, we decided to hit up another celebrity chef spot on the strip. We were able to book a same day reservation on Memorial Day! We ordered à la carte and opted to sit inside since it was way too hot out. Here's my review of everything we ordered: Half dozen oysters: 5/5 -- the mignonette was soooo sharp and good! Oysters were very fresh and not briny. Crab cake: 4.75/5 -- could've used a hintttt of lemon, maybe a punchier salsa on top? Didn't really taste the puree either, but the crab itself was so sweet. Smoked salmon pizza with caviar: 5/5 -- I wanna hate this just to be a hater but this is delicious lol. I love how light the cream cheese is and the dough is perfection Agnolotti: 5/5 -- creamy, sweet, rich, the mushrooms are almost meaty, soooo good Veal wienerschnitzel: 3.75/5 -- cutlet itself was really good, the sides just seemed a little plopped on and not super cohesive? Would've scored higher if not the price point. Jidori chicken: 3/5 -- everything was done well, but it was so one dimensional. Had me wishing I kept the mignonette from the oysters to eat with this dish. Squeezed some lemon on top from the veal dish and it helped but at that price point I shouldn't have to make any adjustments. Cocktail with pineapple rum: 5/5 -- delicious, that hint of vanilla with the pineapple is divineeee Spiked lemon: 5/5 -- unapologetically yuzu!!! the chocolate shell is not too sweet, and the meringue as well. The chocolate is thin and tempered well; has a nice snap to it. Pretty good scores for the food, but why 3 stars? Whereas my partner and I thought Hell's Kitchen was worth the price, we didn't think that was the case for Spago. We came first for brunch. That wasn't particularly impressive. - small portions and an omelette that, while lovely in color, was just an omelette after all. So when we made a dinner reservation, I wasn't expecting to be wowed. I was wowed. Here's what you do: Get yourself a reservation for a guaranteed patio/water view. It's $150 a person food/beverage minimum I believe, but it's worth it. And it's also easy to achieve if you follow my instructions. Start with the lobster bisque. My partner is still talking about this a couple of months later. Probably the best lobster bisque he's had in Vegas and he tries them all. Order the bread. I know... paying for bread is wild but this is worth it. Get a seafood tower. It's not on the dinner menu. It's only on the brunch menu. I have no idea why. Few things say "I'm in VEGAS BABY" more than a seafood tower. But if you ask for one, you can get one. And you should. It's one of the best we've had on the Strip. Order a couple of glasses of Champagne. Relax and enjoy that amazing view. Oh, and you've probably hit your spend minimum by now. If not, get that Spiked Lemon for dessert. Few things say "Celebratory" more than champagne, fresh seafood and that view. This is a meal I would do a hundred times or more. Now tip your waiter generously because the service is perfect. We had a really nice brunch celebrating a birthday. We arrived at our scheduled reservation when it opened so we were able to get a table outside overlooking the famous Bellagio lake. I had the French toast and it was very good. The toast was soft and covered with berry compote and some crema fresh. Very well put together. I had some bacon with it and it too was well made. My wife had the steak and eggs and she was very happy with it. The service was outstanding! Our server was very friendly and attentive and tried to go out of his way to make it great. The staff tried to accommodate every table for outside seating when I had went & they were also super sweet bc each member tried to get to know us individually. I was also able to get a reservation the day prior for a Saturday quite easily. We ordered the smoked salmon pizza with caviar and hamachi sashimi as our starters which was absolutely worth it and delicious. For our main entrees we ordered American wagyu eye of ribeye steak and the pappardelle bolognese - would not recommend. Our steak was extremely chewy and buttery- it was like biting into oil and hard rubber. I definitely don't think it was true wagyu meat served from the texture alone. The bolognese pasta was also coated in oil in every bite. If I had known I would have ordered more of just appetizers next time. read more

Always a good experience coming to Spago, it's located in Bellagio and has a good view of the strip and the Bellagio Fountain. The restaurant is modern and upscale, there's a live DJ playing music so ambiance is nice. I enjoy the Wolfgang chains and my other favorite is CUT. Food We started with the two pizzas and the smoked salmon is my favorite. The dashi marinated roe really adds a nice briny flavor to the pizza in combination with the creamy texture of the Crème Fraiche. The omelette was also perfectly cooked with a soft interior, the mushrooms had good seasoning and the texture felt like a protein. Spiked lemon dessert was a popular choice from all the reviews so had to give it a try. The chocolate crunchy exterior paired with the moist cake interior went really well together. A very nice tangy and rich dessert. Service Had to take 1 star offfor the service, although our server was friendly and other waitstaff were promptly refilling waters/clearing out plates, overall it felt slow. We booked a patio table and were fortunate enough to be seated right against the glass with a completely unobstructed view of the Fountains of Bellagio. The service matched the energy, our waiter and the entire team were fun, engaging, and dialed in from start to finish. We kicked things off with champagne, followed by a fantastic lineup of starters including the salmon pizza with caviar and the BBQ prawns. We shared a pasta dish featuring morel mushrooms and English peas with delicate, pillowy pasta that was honestly unforgettable, rich, balanced, and packed with flavor. We requested in our reservation to have a patio seat and they accommodated that so there's really nothing like having a view of the Bellagio fountains right alongside dinner. The food was perfect. We got the taste of summer prix fixe menu, I chose the ahi tuna appetizer, then pork with greens and grilled peaches for my main, and basque cheesecake for dessert and my husband got the salmon for his main. Both incredible but compared to the pork, the salmon was a bit lackluster and I thought they should've been more equal in flavor and impressions. We also added on the corn and butter pasta addition which was an extra $20. Everything tasted fresh and so good and it came out pretty quick, probably an hour and 15 minutes for the whole experience. They gave me a beautiful window table with a view and being able to watch the fountains made the dinner even more enjoyable. I kept hearing the same two names over and over when I asked where to eat before Cirque du Soleil's O show--Lago or Spago--and I'm really glad we went with Spago. We made a 5:00pm reservation, and it struck that perfect balance for a pre-show dinner: efficient without ever feeling rushed. The service was next level--attentive to every need, offering thoughtful recommendations, but never hovering. We had enough time to actually enjoy our meal, linger a bit, and then take a relaxed stroll across the casino to the theater instead of power-walking in a panic. As a bonus, we were seated outdoors and caught the Bellagio fountains three times--dinner and a show...before the show! Please, do not--do not, do not--skip the Artisanal Bread platter. I went all in on the butter, but the real surprise was the carrot hummus - what is this magic?! From there, my partner and I split the prosciutto di Parma salad and the filet--both absolute perfection. Now, I love dessert more than most, but at the end of a fancy meal I usually don't have room and end up sneaking a bit of chocolate later when my sweet tooth calls. But thanks to our "splitsy" strategy, we said yes when our server suggested the Spiked Lemon--and I don't think I've ever enjoyed a dessert more. I thought that the steak was perfectly cooked with the right amount of salt. I was the unlucky person to experience a hot shishito pepper. Chocolate Souffle - Must get but heavy! It was like I was eating chocolate soup since it was underdone. I would highly suggest that you get a lighter/citrus based dessert to go with it to help cut the richness.
