CUT is always our first dinner stop whenever we're in Vegas. We visit Vegas quite frequently, and this is the restaurant we look forward to coming back to every trip. The American Wagyu steak is consistently cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The sliders are also a must; they're juicy, packed with flavor, and never disappoint. The drinks are on point as well. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. The incredible food and exceptional service are what keep us coming back. We always request Ron as our waiter, he is our go-to and is outstanding. He's attentive, knowledgeable, and always seems to know exactly what we need before we even ask. My wife ordered a Filet Mignon medium well. When she received it she started eating around the outside which was fine. When she cut into the center, it was more of a Medium Rare. They took it back and reheated it. Upon returning the steak was now a little less than Medium but better. My wife stated oh it's still pretty red and the waiter said you ordered medium and when my wife said no medium well, he said oh yea. He said they could remake it but only after another guest in the party suggested it. He discouraged it saying it would take 30-35 minutes she didn't have them do it. The rest of the party would have finished eating by then. Bottom line is she left the steak on the plate and did not eat it. It's ok to get it wrong once but twice is unacceptable. The other steaks were excellent. Doesn't fee good to leave over a hundred dollars on the plate and the staff never attempted to make it right. read more

I live in Las Vegas, so heading down to the strip is typically not something I do. I was staying at the Palazzo for work and We ate here for dinner. It was unreal- best steak I've ever had hands down!!! Their process of cooking their meat definitely takes a little bit longer, so just be prepared to wait a little longer service is unbelievable. Definitely not a cheap meal you pay for what you get and what you get is unbelievable. read more

TL;DR: Save your money and your stomach--go somewhere else. The service wasn't good. Food left us with upset stomach. We had a reservation at CUT around 5:00 p.m. on a Thursday. From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed and somewhat undervalued. I ordered a Mezcal Negroni and explained that I wanted something smoky that I could slowly sip on. I was recommended one of the least smoky mezcals, and it ended up tasting like a regular Negroni. I ultimately settled for a Coca-Cola since I wasn't impressed with the red wine selection or the price points. The soda came in a very small cup and cost $6. I politely asked if they could comp one since my original drink recommendation missed the mark, but they declined. After that, when we asked for a refill of sparkling water or looked at the dessert menu, the interactions made us feel as though the staff assumed we couldn't afford it. Whether that was their intention or not, that was the impression they left us with, and it made for an uncomfortable experience. The food was good, but not great. I've had much better steaks at less expensive steakhouses. My New York strip was also cooler than I would have liked. The sides were very good, especially the Mexican street corn. The food didn't earn a higher rating because both of us felt sick afterward. It upset both of our stomachs, left us extremely gassy, and gave us both acid reflux--mine was some of the worst I've ever experienced. We also both felt noticeably dehydrated afterward despite drinking water, which made us suspect the food was heavily over-salted. I won't be returning. Between being asked three times within about 10 minutes if we were ready to order and the overall service throughout the meal, I have no interest in spending money here again. My girlfriend and I dined here to kick off our Vegas trip, and man, our expectations were blown out of the water. First of all, the front of staff is so kind and accommodating. My brother and his girlfriend were driving in from California so they were facing a LOT of traffic- we ended up having to push back our reservation from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, and the hostesses were so nice about it and didn't give us a hard time at all. Already, I was feeling great about the place before I even walked in the door. Once we got to CUT, we were just enthralled by the beautiful and classy decor and we were seated right next to this giant mirror which reflected all of the gorgeous lights. Our servers were amazing. Literally catering to our every needs, checking in on us (not too much and not too little), and the drinks and food came out at a great pace. We ordered: Shellfish Plateau - Literally the most fresh and delicious seafood of the entire trip by far. The seafood is SO chilled which just adds to the freshness. Caviar Service - Can you ever go wrong with caviar? The caviar was divine and all of the accompaniments made it even better. Filet Mignon, Yukon Gold Potato Puree, Brocolini - Okay, literally my favorite part of the entree is that they serve you the food! Yes, they don't just drop the steak and sides on the table, they cut the steak for you, and serve you all the sides. It truly feels like fine dining here! The BCP Sphere - Super cool dessert! They melt the ball in front of you and of course it was also rich, indulgent and delicious. All in all, CUT has become one of my MUST go-to places when I come to Vegas. Customer Service was superb! The restaurant was so inviting, with such fine dining. It's a wonderful place to celebrate a special milestone with your loved ones. The food was delicious, and the premium steaks were absolutely top-notch! We especially loved the Japanese Wagyu. Cut by Wolfgang Puck is definitely one I'd recommend for those who are looking for impeccable customer service and quality food and beverage. Whiskey would have been my choice, as the dark wood and clean line establishment screamed "Have an Old Fashion with a sweet cigar!". However, we decided to share a nice bottle of Pinot and next time, I'll definitely try their whiskey selection. I'd give it five stars if they had a wider selection of wines--I was slightly disappointed in the level of wines offered as well. I ordered the filet mignon--delish!--with a side of puréed potatoes and a butter leaf salad, sans the blue cheese crumble (not a fan). First off, loved the atmosphere here, located between the Venetian and Palazzo right around the high-end Canal Shoppes, it was elegant and beautiful inside. The chairs are rocking chairs which was a nice feature, but I wish they had higher backs as it got a little uncomfortable after a bit and a little snug for people with big booties :D. The service was outstanding. Our server Chris was so charming and knowledgeable. He provided top tier service and offered great suggestions and helpful tips. We had a party of 6 and wanted to share a bunch of things for the table so he guided us on possible options. My husband ordered a specialty smoked Old Fashioned from the bar cart and it was one of the best OF's I've ever tried. The bartender was also amazing - so friendly and had such personality. She helped liven our group up. Now for the food: - Artisanal Housemade Bread Board - 10/10 OUTSTANDING. That warm focaccia was one of the best bites I had all night and the Vermont butter was divine - Maple Bourbon Glazed Pork Belly - 8.5/10. Super delicious and tender, but very small portion size. - American Wagyu Beef Sliders - 9/10. A table favorite. Juicy and perfectly cooked. I love a good slider and you rarely see them on a main menu (they're usually just at the bar). So good. - Jumbo Shrimp cocktail - 9/10. Not on the menu, per-say but they prepared it for us. Excellent quality shrimp. Tender and cut like butter. The cocktail sauce was fantastic. - Bone in Rib Chop - really delicious steak, good marbling, a few chewy pieces. 8/10 - didn't love how they served it to everyone. Would have liked to select our own pieces and evenly distribute the meat. - Bone in NY - 6.5/10. Loved the crust on this one, but the meat wasn't as tender as I was hoping for. We requested it be cooked medium and it was a little more on the rare side. Just not worth the price in my opinion. - Classic Creamed Spinach | Fried Organic Egg - 10/10. One of the best creamed spinach sides I've ever had. The egg in it is so bizarre and totally ingenious. LOVED it. - Tempura Onion Rings | Saffron-Smoked Paprika Aioli - 9/10. So good. The batter is super light and crispy and you don't get that "bite into one side and the whole onion slides out" thing. Just wish there were more because they were awesome. - Cavatappi Pasta "Mac & Cheese" - 8.5/10. Really solid Mac. Loved the flavor and texture. - Kung Pao Cauliflower - 7.5/10. I loved this dish but didn't feel like it really went with the meal. We had people attending to our every whim. 2 Star Food: We splurged and decided on the Shellfish Plateau appetizer which included a variety of amazing seafood. Saw the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere and stopped for dinner afterwards. Beautiful atmosphere. We were seated right away despite being early so that was nice. Kyle was our server and he and the whole team did a nice job. We started with a salad which was tasty but we asked them to hold the blue cheese and it still had it on the salad. They offered to replace it but we just picked around it. In the end they didn't charge us for it which was nice. We both enjoyed the filet mignon steaks and they were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our sides were the potato puree - very smooth but would have preferred a bit more flavor - and the creamed spinach which was tasty but a little too soupy. I liked it but wish it was less soup-like but a bit more texture. We tried the banana cream pie dessert and the presentation was great! So good and better than the one I had at Lavo. Australian Wagyu (8 oz): fantastic at medium rare, seasoned decently. The house made steak sauce was a little too overwhelming (a bougie A24 sauce), and I liked the horseradish cream more. I'm not a fan of bearnaise for steak. My entree was the pork shank and it was fork tender. When ordering the side dishes, it is enough to feed multiple people depending on their appetite. The baby carrots, spinach soufflé and macaroni and cheese were outstanding! If you don't eat meat, you'd be good ordering side dishes. Everyone really enjoyed the food and ambiance. It's kinda dimly lit inside so if needed, turn your flashlight on to see the menu. If you'd like to take your leftovers to go, they were gracious enough to box them up. The containers were sturdy and the food traveled well. Didn't save room for dessert but from what I saw at other tables, they were yummy looking.The bathrooms were really clean and had nice decor. Came here for a date night/promotion celebration after we had heard so many great things about their steaks! This is a nice fancy steakhouse and the decor is very classy so you can dress up if you want to! We made a reservation and were immediately seated. We ended up ordering some Tuna tartare sticky rice, some steaks and sides (I forget which steaks in particular), and the basque cheesecake. They also gave some complimentary chocolates. Overall, everything came out great (cooked the way we liked) but be prepared for a longer meal. In all fairness, they did ask if we had any obligations we had to get to before the meal started, and we didn't. Great upscale option within easy walking distance and they are used to diners having a hard out when they need to have completed their meal. Classic steakhouse atmosphere with low lighting and sexy vibe. We were seated at a great table in the back dining room and our waiter promptly walked us through the menu before taking our drink order. Favorite dishes of the night were the spicy tuna crispy rice, Japanese hamachi, baby carrots and filet, though everything was top notch. As I walked into the restaurant, it was very calm and low noise level. The soft lighting at each table automatically set the mood for very quiet pleasant evening. I want to give a special HUGE shout out to Ron, my server, he went above and beyond, and was so genuine, and his attention to detail was superb. We went in so late after watching the O show at Bellagio, but they were so accommodating and our server, James, and sommelier (he was a medium built Asian man), stayed late for our table (Im sorry!). Wagyu steak, broccolinis (these were cooked to perfection, crunchy and seasoned well), kungpao cauliflower?, and some kind of corn salad bc one of my friends doesn't eat blue cheese. We shared strawberry shortcake at the end. It was creamy with fresh strawberry. Three of us (girls) were so full by the end of the meal. Ambiance was modern yet fancy. I am glad I celebrated my 40th birthday here! They brought out this small fudge ice cream Popsicle? with a candle for me and it was so yummy. You had a mix of folks dressed for a night out to men in t shirts having a grand ol' time! As for the food, I was excited to try the Wagyu options. My partner had the Australian ribeye and I had the American filet. For sides we ordered the Kung Pao cauliflower and Mac n cheese. We started off with the gem Cesar. The steaks were okay. I wasn't incredibly wowed, but it was still good. Prepared to our desired temps. Didn't need any sauces, but I prefer it that way. The gem Cesar was delicious and an incredibly generous portion, enough to share for a table of 2 or more. The sides were also good, but the kung pao cauliflower was a little oddly paired with the meal. Mac n cheese was really good too, not runny not overly cheesy. Just right. Dillon helped us pick a bottle of wine within our price range and it turned out DELICIOUS! For dessert we had the BCP sphere and it was the perfect sweet ending to our amazing meal. Reservations: We reserved online a week ahead of time, arrived 15 minutes early, and seated soon after. Host helped seat us, pushing in our chairs and laying our napkins on our lap. Service: We were quickly greeted by Travis who took our drink order and drinks were served promptly. Once it arrived there was a mistake made on a steak temp, no less than three people came over to reassure us it would be handled. They made it right and even removed the steak form the bill. Not mad, things happen but they responded quickly and made it right. Our dinner was served by at least four waiters, the initial serving of sides were dished out by them as well. Food: Outstanding! Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection (minus the one). Sides are large, shareable with 2-3 people. Bread was worth the extra cost. One of my favorite steak places in Vegas!!! It's a great choice if you're going to a show at the sphere, because it's in the be Irish which is attached. The food is beautiful, the room is gorgeous, the service is lovely! My friend recommended we try the Australian Wagyu which I'd never tried, only American and Japanese. Let me say, it was incredible!! So buttery and flavorful, like American and Japanese Wagyu had a baby!!! I will always think of it as the Australian Wagyu place, and can't wait to return again in a couple weeks. 10/10 recommend this beautiful place that definitely lives up to all the hype! read more

We had the most delicious dinner at CUT by Wolfgang Puck in Vegas. It started a little annoying because even though we had reservations before the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere, and by the time we arrived there was no one at the restaurant, we were seated at the bar. And that is when Paul saved our dinner. I hope that management reads this: Paul deserves a raise, all the benefits and a cash bonus! Paul helped us get the best combination of a bunch of appetizers because we were in the mood for surf and turf. The sliders were amazing, beef was perfectly cooked. The Hamachi was melt in your mouth fresh. And the truffle fries were a perfect complement for the other things we ordered and came with this awesome aioli. Paul also recommended excellent wine. In the end, sitting at the bar and having Paul help us with our dinner made the whole night! The restaurant is beautiful! I loved the fact that the sushi chef was right out there cutting the crisps and hamachi right in front of us. Loved it! read more

We came here during a trip to Las Vegas for a birthday celebration and to see the Eagles in concert. First, the restaurant is very conveniently located to the Sphere, in case you are coming in for a show. But you must make a reservation well known advance. The host and servers were all very friendly and prompt with their service. We decided to spring for the specialty top shelf Boss Hog Old Fashioned, which they make tableside. They were fantastic and highly enjoyable. For our main course, we both ordered steak. I got the wagyu filet mignon, medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. He ordered the New York strip. We got Brussels sprouts and the mashed potatoes on the side, both of which were tasty and complemented the steak well. For dessert, we got the birthday cake, which was a graham cracker s'mores cake with roasted marshmallow and chocolate mousse. I wish I hadn't been so full from dinner so that I could have eaten more of this! Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The food and drinks were amazing. It's definitely a splurge but worth it. read more

Save your money and go somewhere else! The first thing- the prices are insane for food that's just OK! This place was maybe OK. The Cauliflower was way too salty as was the artichoke tapenade. The gem salad was underwhelming and the pasta was meh! Service was great but they can't make up for the food or their ridiculous prices. Don't let the stars on this place fool you! So disappointing!!! read more
