It had been while since I needed a dry cleaner, and Sparkle Cleaners on Stone Ave was alway my go-to when I lived downtown. Since then, they have changed ownership, but I am happy to report that the dry cleaning was satisfactory. The Campbell spot is a little tricky to get in and out of due to the volume of traffic on Campbell ave. It's set-up as a drive thru, which is nice. I found it pretty seamless and the turn around was extremely fast, within 24 hours! I also received a thank you card in mail, which was a nice touch. Fast customer service, I dropped off 2 formal dresses and got a call the next day stating one can't be cleaned because there's rhinestones that are loose and would be damaged if dry cleaned. When asked what options I had they suggested to hand wash it which is fair. As for the other dress I was told right away they could not guarantee the stain to come off which I was fine with, I just liked the fact that they were transparent about it. Either way, I got both dresses the next day and satisfied with the result. It's a drive through service so it's very convenient but they do have ample parking as well. As for the value, I think it's fair especially for a next day service which I was not expecting because I was willing to wait. read more

When I dropped in for the first time I learned they offer free pick up and delivery - who doesn't want that!!! I was looking for a cleaners who used toxic free cleaning products and they were recommended to me by Canyon Ranch. After receiving my first order I was very pleased. Unfortunately, the dry cleaning on my California King comforter was unacceptable. The comforter had so many wrinkles from being put in too small a bag. I took it back and asked if the wrinkles could be steam cleaned out. The store took the comforter to address the wrinkles. When I was notified of the second pick-up - I was disappointed to see that it was in yet another bag. So I am home with a wrinkled comforter. I don't think the company should be accepting bedding for dry cleaning if they expect their customers to accept wrinkled bedding. read more

First time using this place, I thought it would be fine since they had a lot of high reviews. Got there, the drop off was fine, but then I didn't hear from them after 24hrs, I decided to let the weekend go by but didn't hear from them on Monday at all. So I decided to call before they closed on Monday and ask what was going on with my order. The lady that picked up was the same lady I dropped off my clothes with. She started telling me that she doesn't have anything for me from them. And asking me if I had the right place. I told her that I am sure I have the right place and in fact she was the employee I dropped off my clothes with, I described what she looked like to assure her that I knew that I was contacting the right place. She immediately got loud and short with me. Repeatedly screaming (and I mean FULL ON SCREAMING) at me on the phone, telling me that she cannot find anything under my name. I'm trying to stay calm and see if we can figure something out, I mean it's possible my information is wrong in the system, she starts losing it, still getting loud. I was so confused, I mean if anyone should be pissed off here it should be me, I'm the one that's growing more concerned that pretty expensive clothes that I entrusted with these people might be lost. After she is done screaming at me on the phone I agree to come in the next day and speak to the manager, I ask her for her name cause I want to address the horrible situation to the manger with a name and she hangs the phone up on me. So I'm thinking the worst, I'm thinking my stuff was stolen or something, cuz it did not make sense how aggravated this woman got for something that was most likely a data entry error! The next morning I head over to the store I talk to the manager and describe the items I dropped off, she goes in the back and not even 2 minutes and she finds my stuff, and like everyone thought, it was a data entry problem, the manger did give me 20% off and apologized. And if that were the end of it, as crazy as all of that was, I probably would not be writing this review. So, I get home and start looking over my stuff, and on one of the items there is multiple stains all over it! On the front chest and all on the sleeve too! Horrible! And the experience was so bad that I don't even want to go back to them to fix it. In short there are other options, and in my experience, after all this... I dropped off three Tommy Bahama shirts for dry cleaning. It was bad enough they charged me over $7.40 a piece which was bad enough but then they added another BS surcharge supposedly because the shirts are silk bringing the total cost to dry clean three shirts to over $30!!! I have over 95 of these shirts but these people won't be seeing me again that's for sure!!! read more

Went by when had hours of operation. No one there. First time customer not impressed. Called told to call another department. Left a message no call back. Tried creating an online account to schedule a pick up. Could not due to Sparkle Cleaners system. Tried to message through the contact us and could not due Sparkle Cleaners system again willing to accept messages. Stating could not accept the message, due to only numbers and letter. Took out the punctuation marks still could not. You lost a customer today. Was told great things and given my schedule I could have used you guys a lot. Not anymore. I spent way more time trying to be a customer than you apparently care to make a customer. I will not be back to try any Sparkle Cleaners ever after this experience. read more

Dry cleaning seems to be the one area that Tucson has the bay area beat on (that and taxi prices, but the quality of cabs in the bay area is so much better than in Tucson that I hardly mind the inflated price). Sparkle Cleaners was my go-to place for all those Eller suits that needed to be dry cleaned. The stores are tidy and the prices are reasonable. They've never ruined any of my clothes and they've always had things ready when they said they would be. read more

Don't use Sparkles!! unless you want to deal with them ruining your clothing, not taking responsibility for it, and still trying to make you pay for the dry cleaning which ruined your clothing. I took 2 cashmere sweaters to sparkles, and not only were they unable to get the stains out, which the associate led me to believe they'd be able to do no problem, my clothes came back worse then they started! Not to mention, when I politely told the regional manager that I simply would like a refund for the service, he got extremely rude with me and refused. I had to speak to the owner in order to get a refund. Also, they ripped a blazer of mine, which they fixed for free, but I was still charged for the cleaning. I will never be returning to sparkles, needless to say. read more

Sparkles did a good job for a long time...but have really gone downhill in the past year. They've ruined shirts (actually turned a brand new one pink), pretended to not be able to get out stains...they slap this little tag on them stating "we've tried & tried to get the stain out, but couldn't"...pish - I got it out in 15 seconds with a tide pen. They iron like they're blind...&...the last straw was when they stapled my receipt THROUGH both legs of my Italian wool slacks. They don't care about quality anymore, talking to them doesn't do any good. I don't give a hoot if they offer a lower price than some - replacing the clothes that they've ruined in the past 6 months makes them the most expensive place in town! read more

I absolutely love the customer service at this location. The gentleman who works almost every single shift is friendly, remembers your name, and I absolutely love the drive up service. Today while picking up my clothes he remembered a funny story about how I ripped my skirt and commented on it as he was bringing my clothes out to my car and put them inside for me. Do not use sparkle cleaners!! They over charge, damaged my items. Then washed dry clean only items and dry cleaned non dry cleaning items! They washed silk items that were dry clean only, then dry cleaned cotton and not just one item multiple. Then damaged two items, and denied dry cleaning them.The worst customer service I have ever had! The district manager had a very poor attitude until i asked for the owners number. Then the owner who was not there or saw any off this basically called me a liar, and that he has been in business over 40 years so he didn't care about my concerns. I have never been treated like a liar! I am a business owner and would never handle my issues by denying bad service, I would have corrected this issue with a positive , helpful attitude . The bottom line is use a small business for your wash and dry clean needs, this company could care less about one customer and hopefully soon it will catch up to them. read more

When I attempted to redeem the coupon they informed me I needed to bring the coupon at drop off & could not acknowledge it at time of payment.
