I've had a terrible time working with this company. Although they keep claiming that they "want to…read moremake things right", they consistently fail to follow up. I'm now sitting on water damage in my garage drywall and floor from their leaky units, and since they have taken weeks to respond to my requests, the liklihood of having a mold issue is increasing by the day. Over the 6 years I have had their system (purchased via Costco), I've had multiple leaky units. Sometimes it is a fractured or faulty O-ring, resulting in water all over the drywall and garage floor (see pictures). Other times, its just a leaky enclosure. Most recently, it was due to improper sealing of a bypass value. They just can't seem to get it right despite me giving them chance after chance. I'm pretty casual and willing to do anything to be a "good" customer, but at this point, it is affecting my home, and it is becoming a situation where I have to miss work due to excessive appointments that doesn't fix the situation. I do not recommend this company at all. They are nice on the phone and in person, I have no issues with that. But their craftsmanship is poor and their follow-up for BIG issues like the ones I'm showing in this video is nearly non-existent.

He then quoted $590 for the work and insisted it was a "low" price, which is misleading. Based on past experience, this feels like a common tactic: push the repair outside of coverage, then charge an inflated rate. I hired a licensed plumber who completed the same job for $100 and cleared the clog within 2 minutes. This reflects poorly on both Aladdin Plumbing and American Home Shield for failing to ensure fair pricing. If you are reading this review, had I agreed to the $590, I would have paid $715 together with my deductible for a $100 job.

For a split second I was afraid that I'd be trapped inside the elevators and was looking for the emergency call button. Upon arrival to the reception area, I was slightly appalled at how dirty the area was. There was food, purses, backpacks, cups, and just, things.. everywhere. I felt like I was walking through the clearance section of a department store. I got a tour of the offices and the available ones were on the west side, so it was VERY warm. I could smell and see dust and imagined sweating in the office with hay fever. What was most appalling was the rental price. They wanted upwards of $1200 for a the tiny space. I understand that's the corporate price setting but compared to other office facilities, that is HIGH. In this economy I wish them luck in filling the office spaces.
