I literally cringed when I was told four months ago that the tires on the vehicle had dry rot and had to be replaced. I tried putting it off but soon the tire pressure light kept coming on frequently and I didn't have the time to stop to put air in the problematic tires - every time. I got a quote for the tire service from my go-to mechanic and the price didn't sit well with me. One day after work, I stopped at this Tire Plus location to put air in the tires once again. While there I was told by one of the service advisors that there was a buy 3, get 1 free deal on their tires. The total cost was $500 less than what my mechanic charged, plus I had a lifetime warranty on the alignment...I was sold and made an appointment. Surprisingly the service took about an hour and there was a different feel while driving on the road. The guys at Tire Plus was courteous and knowledgeable and the price for the service was reasonable. I may return to change the windshield wiper and get an oil change. read more

I've bought tires here before and had alignments done. I scheduled an appointment for yesterday at 2:00 p.m. to have a wheel alignment done on my car. When I walked in there was nobody at the front desk and nobody showed up at the front desk for about 10 minutes. They seem to be short staffed like many places are these days. They took my car back around 2:20 p.m. to start working on it. I find this place reliable and they do explain the pricing and the work. read more

I made an appointment for my tires to be installed, which were coming from tire rack. I told them this at the time of making the appointment and said see you when they arrive. When the tires arrived, they refused shipment and a different employee said we do not work with Tirerack. I have a nail in my tire and been waiting three days for this appointment. Very unprofessional. All the employees need to get on the same page. I was going to pay over $120 for the installation of the three tires. I got a nail in my tire and stopped by here today (Sunday). I was helped by Kevin, who was very helpful and honest. He told me that they don't do plugs and that the area the nail was in, would not be good for a patch. He suggested that I just fill up the tire with air when it needs it and monitor it or take it to a place that does plugs. He didn't try to sell me a tire, saying that my tire is in good shape. He gave me the name of a couple of places nearby that do plugs. He also put air in all my tires for free and he said I believe that they do that for free there as a service. You always hear about mechanics taking advantage of clients who are not so savvy with car needs, it was nice to see that someone didn't do that. read more

I arrived to Tires Plus as an urgent emergency to get my tire fixed as it had a 5 inch screw in it and was leaking air like crazy! I signed up for the emergency repair service with tires plus in case my tires get damaged. I got to the shop at 4:45 pm on a Sunday, desperate for help. I tried to remove my tire to change it and my stock equipment would not work. So I ran to Tires plus to save the day. Arriving at the shop at 4:40, the mechanic. (Juan, no last name as he refuse to provide it). told me that he was already closing up and all the mechanics were changing clothes. I said please help me as it is an emergency, I ran to come here as I purchased my tires here and got the tire insurance and wanted to have them fix the issue. He was like whatever .... I asked for a manager and he said he was the only one there. I begged for help and he said that they were closing down and I got pissed and said that his service was the worst ever and I wanted a manger and he told he was the only one there at 4:44. I said this is BS and he told me told me an expletive. F Off.... Which really pissed me off,,, then he passed me the air hose as if he was a hero and asked if I wanted to top of my tire,,,,,I cannot believe the lack of professionalism from him . They make stuff up that you need. I went for a simple oil change and my free alignment. Since I had warranty, it would repair a part that is covered. They tried to charge my warranty three times what the part is worth. Luis said that is what tire plus prices are. Needless to say I went to my mechanic. Also they said my breaks were bad. They were fine according to my mechanic. I just changed cabin filter. They said it was bad. I bought tires from them, tried to charge me for rotation. Be very careful with them! read more

Not only did Tires Plus have the best prices, they were the only ones who could schedule me for the same day. New tires, alignment and oil change in about three hours. I have a 2019 Buick Encore and the Onstar system notified me that my tires were low. I was close to this location, so I stopped by. I was immediately greeted by one of the employees and told him my issue. He had me move my car to the garage entrance, explained what he was going to do with the digital gauge, showed me the factory specs on the driver side door jam, the pressure in each tire and proceeded to fill all the tires. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, there was no charge and I would definitely return here for routine maintenance based upon this experience. read more

The Tires Plus on Powerline Rd and Cypress, ...I would definitely NOT recommend them. Brought my Chevy Cruz to have a noise checked out when a/c is on. Told it was alternator belt...so they replace it....but drove away and noise was still there...brought it back next day and now they tell me..it's the Tensioner for the belt. Hello why didn't they tell me that first. Brought it somewhere else and he knew instantly that it was the Tensioner and fixed it for MUCH LESS than Tires Plus quoted me. A week later I had to go to the Ford dealership for a recall and was told that my tires where not aligned I contacted tire plus and was told that I could bring it back! If the alignment was done I would not have to bring it back. I doubt the Ford dealer would make it up! My time is worth more than the alignment cost. I stopped in to Tires Plus one week day morning a couple of weeks ago because my left rear tire was low. The young man at the counter told me to pull up to the gate. Another young man came out and put air in my tire. As he started to walk away he said "You know there is a screw in the tire." I told him I did not know and that was why I stopped in. He then said that tire can't be patched because of "dry rot" and would need to be replaced. I asked how much a new tire would be. He had to inside and check. He came out with a piece of paper and handed it to me stating a new tire was $236. I then asked what time they are open until so I could call to make an appointment. My gut said to check around before buying a tire. I called the place I got the tires from (Hamill Tire & Auto on Andrews) and spoke with Ryan. He told me he wanted to take a look at it before determining it needed to be replaced. He said he would order the tire to have on hand and call me when he got it so I could bring the car in. He called me within two hours and I went down to the shop. They put the car up to look at the tire and Ryan told me it was definitely patchable. They had me fixed up and out of there in no time. I was disappointed to feel like Tires Plus, was just trying to scam me. And honestly, it seemed they thought I would not question it as a female. I am glad I did. This was the worst experience I ever had with an establishment in my life. The guy behind the counter lied and said they had the tire for my car in stock (1 new tire). told me to walk down to the Publix as I felt light headed and told them I was hungry when I came in and he said it would take them a hour and a half. after returning he told me they mistakenly thought they had the tire but in fact had to pick it up from another location which resulted in me crying in the lobby the entire day because I missed my nephres graduation because they had the tire off and would not put the old one back on even when asked by me to do so. $342 for a tire and having to wait is insane. read more

I brought my car to this location for 4 tires and a front end alignment. Was told it would take two hours. After 3 hours, the front manager told me the car was "nearly done". After 4 hours, I was told the same thing but the car had not even gone on the lift yet! I was fine with the waiting had the manager leveled with me and told me the truth. Once the car went on the lift, the tires were put on and the front end alignment supposedly done in about 12 minutes. I left angry. The car pulled to the left. I drove back and asked for the machine printout of the front alignment to make sure it was done. I was told "the printer is out of ink" and no paperwork could be produced. Plus, they did not reset my system and I am getting a notice on the dashboard that says "tire pressure system service required". Hopefully, they did not break something in the tire valve to cause this notice being given. I wasted my day and now have to take it to a different location to get the car aligned and check the tire pressure gauge. Oh, did I mention the trunk of the car was left a mess. They were in such a hurry to get me out of there once I lost my patience, the spare was not put back and parts were strewn throughout the trunk of the car. Absolutely HORRIBLE service. read more

I purchased a package along with two tires from the federal Hwy location near Broward Blvd. It was a high-pressure sales experience but I thought the alignment package was worth it. I left a few days later on a road trip and my car shook all the way to Tampa. Once there I had another location look at the car and they said the Ft Lauderdale's equipment wasn't calibrated and my tires were 70% off balance. The tampa/st Pete location may be an exception to this review. I needed to have my car aligned 6 months later so rather than go to a location that doesn't calibrate their machines I came up to Pompano. I made an appointment for noon, I had about an hour and a half open in my day for it. When I arrived there were 2 people waiting. I checked in and was told the shop was running 20 MINUTES behind and the service would take about 45 minutes. I waited and watched my car just sit in the parking lot. The people the 'manager' said did not have appointments all came and went. It took a full hour for my car to get pulled in. Just about everyone there was upset about the incorrect estimate of time (one guy was waiting 3 hours). Then they seemed annoyed with me that I was upset. Rather than update everyone and apologize it was excuse after excuse. The manager even compared himself to a doctor and said an appointment isn't a promise of an exact time, just a spot in line. He then 'corrected himself' when I objected and said it's like a hair appointment... when I have an appointment I am received on time or within a few reasonable minutes in almost all instances. If I was told it would take an hour, I would have figured out my day and maybe come back. They need to learn how to manage client expectations. Was told it would take 30m to put one new tire on my car. I brought my car in, and then waited 45 minutes just to see the a mechanic "Jacob" standing underneath my car without a single tire off. I asked the guy at the front desk what he is doing and he replies "He is probably just doing a inspection".. Except I never asked for a inspection, I asked for one of my tires to be replaced which they were not even touched. Got a really bad vibe from this place and do not trust they take care of your car. I'm sure Jacob was trying to either create, or find problems to up charge me on as I NEVER once asked for a inspection. I told them to lower my car immediately and I left without hesitation. On top of that, they do not put anything on your seats to protect them from their dirty clothes, keychains or keys from scratching the seats. It took them 2.5 hours to put a set of tires on my sons car in August with an appointment. I gave them a second chance today with my wife's car. I made the appointment and showed up 15 minutes early. First they couldn't find my appointment in their computer then I was told even if they had the tires it would be a while since they were backed up.
