The Vivid Seats speakeasy is an amazing small exclusive member bar at Dodger stadium. Service was amazing, alcohol was excellent. The charcuterie board we ordered was a new and improved Dodger experience. I loved the drinks and felt well taken care of by staff. Thank you everyone for making my first experience memorable. I love being a member.

Interior view at the speakeasy from the front door, also known as Tommy's Bar.

I finally made it, and I'm glad I did. Heads-up, this location can get crowded, so there might be a wait. Make sure to check out the faux lockers built into the wall outside the front door, they are filled with cool Dodgers/baseball artifacts, part of the visual experience. This is 'sort of' a secret speakeasy that can accommodate a little less than 100 fans. It is known as Tommy's Bar in honor of hall of fame manager Tommy Lasorda. Tommy is honored around the bar with several OLD SCHOOL pictures of him with former players. Apparently, the bar is also 1960s themed, which is mostly apparent through the hanging chandeliers, light wood accents, custom bar design, and art deco chair designs, as seen in my picture. Oddly, they have several bulbs which are burned out, so the fixtures might actually be from the 60s. LOL. The bar is located under Dodger Stadium's centerfield plaza, you will need to walk to the far left (first base side) it actually shares a wall with the visitors bullpen, a one way mirrored wall that looks into the bullpen, which is cool for baseball enthusiast. During the game there is not view of the field, but they do have multiple televisions so you can watch from the bar. The bar serves drinks and food, so it is a fun/special spot before the game, or whenever you want to feel some Tommy Lasorda nostalgia.

Wow! Another great addition to Dodger Stadium! This is a great little spot that's well hidden in the lower corner. You have a great view to watch pitchers warm up and there are some new and tasty drink options as well. The staff IS AWESOME - some have come from the Stadium Club. They aren't serving food yet but I am sure that some tasty treats are going to make their way on to the menu very soon. Until then, you are free to bring in food from nearby establishments.

Stop by here. I'm grateful for the Indoor Ac. Good pregame spot. It's like a mini wet bar

A bicycling group stopped by for a quick breather in the lot before heading back out. Event organizers were shuffling unsuspecting casual onlookers into playing regulars. In and around the brewery, focused chess matches were set up in dimly lit cosmic lighting, a stark contrast to the commotions from the music and the Lakers game on TV. Upstairs inside the brewery the attendees traded the cool, evening air for a noticeably stuffier experience. The space contained mostly beginner mahjong games as well as chess matches. I had the chance to engage in both activities and had a blast even though I got my butt kicked. Would love to come back and play a few more rounds with a drink in hand.

I'm not even gonna lie, I saw this place from the outside and thought I was going to have to fight for my life. LOL! I'm a city girl and I can't help that it looked sketch on the outside. Blame my city upbringing, moving forward. LOL Now when we stepped inside, isssssa vibe! We sat the bar and immediately started ordering food. We let the bartender know that we don't drink and she offered to make these ice cold tea drinks and she killed it! Whatever she made, refreshed the hell out of me and I loved it! She was pretty chill and made us feel welcome. There was another gentleman there that took our food orders and I'm not sure if he was another bartender or the owner, but he was pretty chill, too. We didn't want to be in the way at the bar with all of our food while everyone was having a good time, so we moved to a table. People were having cold ones and dancing. It was good to see everyone enjoying themselves! I told yall---vibes! Little did we know at the end of the bar is a whole dining area! This joint was pretty big! So that's where you would pick up your food. When I tell yall we ate it down, we ate it dowwwwwnn! We ordered a half shrimp/half oysters po boy, fried pickles, charbroiled oysters, wings, and I forget what it was called but we had another po boy with everything from shrimp to gator....washed it all down with a cold Dr Pepper..don't hate. lol They already had me on the fried pickles, so I don't know what else to tell you except not to sleep on this place!****sings I'm going going, back back, to Cali Cali***

For the love of god, Swamp, remove me from your marketing texts. They will sell your info and bombard you with marketing texts. You hit report spam and they keep on changing numbers and sending texts. FFS swamp, stop or you're going to have some issues with reporting. As a child who grew up in restaurants because my mom was a server her whole life, I find myself to be hopelessly nice to staff and of course tipped the hipster bang bartender ( don't know her name but I had those bangs in 2016 so that's just her name to me) I was exceedingly nice and this bartender doubled down. Not sure why. Look, I'll never come back so I don't really care about the bartender, but I care about constant spam and disregard for patrons privacy. You're a bar so you gotta stop. You're not that important and everyone hates texts so you're burying yourself. Please stop.

We decided to get a drink to celebrate Father's Day, only to strike out at the first two bars we tried--I guess a lot of places are closed at 9:30 on a Sunday. This is how we ended up at Thunderbolt, a buzzy bar in Echo Park, just far enough away that we'd never made our way over. I loved it immediately. Thunderbolt has the friendly, comfortable atmosphere of a neighborhood bar and the hip aesthetic and high-level cocktails of a millennial boozer destination. (Not that young people can't or shouldn't hang out here, but it seems especially geared toward people like us, who drank at Walker Inn a decade ago.) We ended up sitting next to a guy who regularly drives up from Palos Verdes. I guess the place gets pretty busy, but it was ideal on a Sunday night. Happening but not crowded, with just enough space at the bar for us to grab two seats together. The bartender was great, super helpful and welcoming. He also made excellent drinks. Thunderbolt is one of those bars with an encyclopedic illustrated book for a menu. Not a long menu, just a detailed one, with a lot of information available about each drink. We got a Liquid Picnic and a Barcelonnette--just one round to close out the weekend. Both were delicious. The Liquid Picnic was a smooth, savory gin martini made with London dry gin, tomato, citron, vermouth, rosemary, and black pepper. I learned from the book that it used clarified tomato water. (There was also further reading about the clarification process.) The Barcelonnette was a mezcal sour with Suze, passionfruit, and lime, the foam made without egg white through some geeky mixologist process. Thunderbolt is not our neighborhood bar, but we plan to go back when we can to check out the rest of the menu. It's a wonderful place, well worth a jaunt on the freeway.

Drinks: Really, really good. My absolute favorite was the boat drink with foam on top, but we split several others and I liked everything we tried. Vibe: Unmatched. There are several drinks on the menu with a theatrical presentation that gets the whole bar involved. The space is small, so you'll inevitably have your conversation interrupted by an alluring siren's call or some ceremonial rowers. This is a crucial part of the tiki experience for me. The bartenders all have their different spin and clearly are in it for the love of the game. We had a lot of fun chatting with the staff. Food: I ate 2 orders of soup dumplings and probably could have bodied down 5 more. They were ridiculously good, but prohibitively expensive.

Walking in, I loved the aesthetic design of the open air cafe. Loved the antique vibes. There was a variety of different seating to choose from such as bar seating and cushioned couches which was nice. Going down the list of menu items I had: - Cantaloupe Milk CT with Matcha: Creamy and sweet cantaloupe flavor. Matcha was solid, but wished there was more of it. - Egg Sando: Pretty good. Lots of egg filling, but wish it was more flavorful. Bread also didn't hold the egg filling well. - Melon Soda Float: Yummy dessert. Ice wasn't necessary since there was ice cream in the cup already. I did some work from here and my experience was relatively decent. There were ample outlets and the couch seating was comfortable. The music could get a bit loud though, but I didn't mind. Only downside was the wifi wasn't great so I had to use my hotspot. This would be better as a place to socialize. Definitely a cafe worth checking out in the Chinatown area!
