    Black drip and Aztec Mocha
    Carol I.

This place was recommended by our concierge at Allegretto. The drip coffee is quite flavorful as the beans are roasted well and you can taste it. The Aztec mocha had a tad too much spicy. It hid the chocolate/ mocha flavor. Enjoyed the bacon, queso, Chile quiche but it missed the correct consistency by a hair or 2. The coffee cake muffin was tasty. Cool decor, good variety of swag, including stickers, which we like to collect.

We were in town for the weekend and man oh man is this coffee place popular. The line wrapped around the shop, so I expected this place to be amazing. Cute shop with seating inside and artwork all over the space. I ordered a chai and a hot latte. Both were not great . The chai was watery and my latte lacked flavor as well. It's just two people working which makes the wait long. I don't mind waiting just wished my drinks would be good. I think it's that they have so many orders lined up that they don't take the time and care to make the drinks. One person helps between orders at the register and the other is pulling shots but again it's only was only two people. Perhaps someone called out , I am not sure but not the best experience:/ Please try for yourself maybe this was an off day.

I came on a Sunday and there was a short line for the register. I ordered an iced Miel Latte which was good. Their nitro cold brew was sour and that was without milk. Also got their French onion bagel and cream cheese and it was burnt. Which ruined the taste.

So happy to be back in town! It was a nice crisp 58F when we drove in, so what better way to "warm up" than to stop here first to enjoy a cup of quality coffee. Early risers were starting their day, so it wasn't too crowded (yet). 8oz Americano and a mixed berry scone aways hits the spot for me. I always enjoy the chill vibe of this place, and the staff is very welcoming. CHEERS till next time...

Spearhead Coffee in Paso Robles is a cute cafe with a rustic industrial feel. Coffee and pastries are what's on the menu the breakfast looks good as well. Service was good as well. Friendly people and the coffee came out pretty quick as well.

Came here when I was up in Paso for an event. It's a cute little spot and love the ambiance inside. It was really cool seeing everything they had. I went on a Sunday morning and the line was surprisingly long. I was in no rush and needed coffee so I didn't mind. They did move thru it fairly quickly. I got their Aztec Mocha which I did enjoy. They do have pastries which I appreciated. I am someone that needs to eat something with my coffee. Overall, if I am in the area again for an event or just need coffee I would come back.

Was so excited to check this place out but holy moly it needs a reset on their operational flow. Got here around 7:50am on a Sat morning and there were maybe 3 people in line ahead of us. I could see that the staff were all heads down at every station rather than one person always taking orders while another was making drinks, warming up food, etc. Got up to the front of the line and all of the workers were either making coffee or warming up food so it took a min or so to even get our order in as nobody was at the register to greet us right away. As we waited in line, the line continued to get longer and longer (probably about 10 parties deep at this point). The logo is super cool here and so is their merch. Inside the shop is very urban as well. The coffee was good overall and so was the jalapeño cheese bagel I had, but a coffee run should not have taken me 30+ min when there weren't that people ahead of me when I ordered. Maybe they were just short staffed that day, but seems like they definitely need a reset to take a look at their operational efficiency.

2nd day in a row getting a poorly filled cup of coffee. This is my coffee after I added cream.

Woke up to a brisk morning here in Paso Robles. The sun is freshly hung in the clear blue sky and the birds are singing a song of thanks for a new day. With an air bnb full of family members from all corners of California, I thought "what better way to enjoy the end to this beautiful weekend than a nice hot cup of coffee?" So off I popped to find a hot cuppa Joe. I followed my nose down to this trendy little shop downtown and wandered inside. The baristas were so knowledgeable, and while I waited for my carafe of coffee to take home to the amoeba, I got to watch as the guy was roasting a new batch of beans right there! It's such a cool feature--being able to see who is responsible for your drink being so bold and flavorful. I really cannot recommend this place enough. I'm quite the coffee snob and this may be the best coffee I've ever tried!

Love this cute coffee spot Ambiance: cute eclectic design. Lots of live plants and photo art. Love the seating which is ample in the front and the back. Cool windows looking towards the street. They also have windows in the middle to see the coffee bean machines. Service: great, super attentive and fast. Drinks: great Mocha: rich chocolate flavors Miel: creamy and yummy cinnamon flavor We'll be back!

Went on a Friday morning with my husband. It was pretty packed with what looked like locals. The coffee shop was very clean. The workers were somewhat friendly. We ordered the Aztec Mochas. Before ordering we asked if this had Mexican chocolate in it. They said no, but that they added their own spices. The drinks were ok. I didn't taste any spices. It was also on the sweeter side where as I prefer more of a stronger coffee taste and not too sweet.

As someone visiting from out of town, I was hoping for a warm, welcoming coffee shop experience. The café is definitely cute and has a great atmosphere, but the service felt a bit rushed. It also wasn't busy--there were only a few customers inside, and I was the only person ordering coffee at the time. Even so, I wasn't asked if my order was for here or to go, and I also wasn't asked if I'd like my coffee cake warmed. Everything was automatically served in a to-go cup with a cold slice of coffee cake. After sitting outside, I noticed other customers enjoying their drinks in ceramic mugs, which would have made the experience feel much more like the cozy coffee shop I was hoping for. It's a small detail, but those little touches can make a big difference, especially for first-time visitors. The quality of the coffee is worth stopping in for, but a little more attentiveness and hospitality would make the experience even better.

The staff deserves just as much praise as the coffee. Every barista I've interacted with has been friendly, welcoming, and consistently on point. They genuinely make you feel appreciated and are a huge asset to this coffee shop. If you're anywhere nearby and love a great mocha, do yourself a favor and stop by H. Cheval Coffee. Delightful Experience at the Quant Shop…read more Visiting the quant shop is always a treat, and this time was no exception. From the moment I stepped inside, the inviting aroma of freshly made waffle cones filled the air, instantly bringing a smile to my face. The vibrant colors of the various ice cream flavors display themselves like a painter's palette, hinting at the delicious experience that awaits. The star of the show, of course, is the ice cream. With each scoop, it's clear that this shop prides itself on quality. The chocolate flavor is nothing short of extraordinary. Creamy and rich, it envelops your taste buds in a velvety embrace, making each bite feel like a luxurious indulgence. The depth of flavor is impressive; it's not just chocolate, but a carefully crafted blend that strikes the perfect balance between sweetness and richness. What sets this ice cream apart is its texture. It's incredibly smooth, and you can tell that the ingredients are top-notch. The creaminess lingers, creating a delightful mouthfeel that makes you want to savor every last drop. Whether you enjoy it in a cone or a cup, it's a sensory experience that captures the essence of what ice cream should be. Beyond the ice cream itself, the atmosphere of the quant shop adds to the overall experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, eager to share their recommendations and engage in conversation about their craft. Their passion for creating exceptional ice cream is infectious, making you feel excited about your choice. Overall, my experience at the quant shop was nothing short of delightful.
