This construction began in April 2025 and remains ongoing over a year later. During this time, residents have been paying full price for a shell of an apartment; the dog park, grill areas, and private patios have been completely unusable since the day work started. Throughout this entire period, there has been a total vacuum of communication. I have received zero construction updates. I'm not sure if TPM has the experience or brain capacity to successfully navigate situations like this. David's response "oh you'll have to come work at our office space during construction" is ridiculous and laughable. This reflects an uneducated person at their highest, so I don't blame him just his circumstances. Do better david lol David Levlon and John Martin have been specifically instrumental in this failure. Their handling of my property's issues has been characterized by a staggering level of inadequacy. My experience has included a 48-hour lockout due to their clerical errors and a complete disregard for resident safety by allowing unauthorized individuals access to the site (construction staff have written access codes onto the property in sharpie resulting in break ins). The financial unprofessionalism is equally appalling. Management actually demanded that I spend thousands of dollars on custom blinds (but why not the home owner buy these? Wild). Perhaps most unprofessional of all was the response to my legitimate grievances. John Martin explicitly stated that he instructed his team to stop contacting me after I raised multiple concerns regarding the loss of natural light and amenities. Choosing to silence a tenant rather than address a lack of habitability is a coward's approach to management, but mirrors rat behavior which reconciles with TPM. Stay away from these greedy pigs. Keeping good tenants happy while still looking out for the property is a hard balance, and she strikes it well. Maintenance has been the same. When things have come up, she's coordinated the work, sent estimates up front, and kept me in the loop from start to finish. She treats the relationship like a partnership, which is rare. I'm a black person and there was another black lady named Therese Felder in The leasing office at MAA Barton Skyway. I walked in to look at an apartment after calling her on the phone. Therese Felder, The MAA leasing agent, seemed to be in a bad mood, rude and unhappy with her job when I arrived and refused to show me any of the vacancies at the complex. She asked me to come back in 20 minutes when her co-worker Sandy was there so that one of them could show me a unit. I walked around the grounds of MAA and there was trash everywhere around the grounds the dog park and the dumpster at the gate was overflowing with garbage & smelled. I saw leaks and running water coming out of many units outside walls in that complex and repair trucks were everywhere. I came back to The MAA leasing office 20 minutes later and the other lady named Sandy was there and she also said that she didn't have the time to show me a vacant apartment and was rude. I'm very disappointed with MAA and all of their properties, so I decided to rent at the Gables next door which I love. I hope this helps all you people that are looking for apartments. MAA Barton Creek Apartments has too many building and staff issues. I would skip MAA and look at other apartments in the area.

Big mistake - the guy had warrants out for his arrest, and his "emergency contact" was his estranged wife who had a restraining order against him and was not legally able to sign a contract. Roman never called her or did any sort of thorough background check. The guy is now in jail, and his girlfriend is renting my house out on Airbnb without my permission - they haven't paid rent in 2 months, and while they're making $263/night on Airbnb, I'm stuck paying the bills while waiting for the eviction process to proceed. My mistake - I trusted that Roman was a professional and knew his business - he just wanted to make a quick buck.
