I don't even wanna give spectrum no stars because all this rebooting unplugging systems every 14 days is ridiculously insane. only reason why I'm with spectrum is bc it's the only internet provider around which use to be bright house and they were horrible. so the storm knocked out the modem had to drive down to get a new one with kids starting school and me having to work which definitely an inconvenience and the car rep when I called asked a million and one questions like dude did you not just see we all had a storm. I will have to switch to my TMobile carrier and then has the nerves to charge $100 for what? it's slow. Spectrum yall gotta do better read more

Worst internet company I have ever had. For a month now the upload speeds have been atrocious. They came out three times, switched out my equipment and re spliced the lines. After I finally asked the blatantly obvious question as to if they even bothered to check the main line on the street, they finally check it and find out the main line is the issue after looking at the data logs. But it's been over a month of me having several issues with video conferencing that I've had to use my damn cell hot spot when I should not have had to at all if they had done their jobs correctly a month ago. Why the hell am I paying full price internet when I've had to use up all 30GB of my cell phone hotspot... Ripoff read more

Spectrum has been hands down the worst internet service provider I have ever worked with. Service interruptions and outages are far too frequent (at least once a month), and their customer service is entirely unhelpful. They always say the only options are to wait multiple days for a technician to come out, or offer an insulting low amount for reimbursement (with a straight face they offer like $2 for reimbursement on your next bill - I wish I was kidding). For someone who works from home, like myself, it is vital to have a reliable internet connection, and Spectrum has consistently failed to do this. Stay far far away from Spectrum. read more

Spectrum sucks!!! Plain & simple!!! They upcharged EVERY month with no change in service!! It constantly goes in & out during bad weather! There is always an outage somewhere close & half the time the wifi is slow!!!! They're customer services is horrible too!! Why do I have to have a house phone to have cable & internet? And what the fuck is a broadcast tv surcharge? Isn't that why I pay for cable? And a FCC admin fee & a franchise fee AND taxes!!!!! No wonder there's no surprise charges for mobile or business users cause the cable customers are getting all the extra taxes & surprise fees!!!! read more

Spectrum's service was mediocre at best and their customer service is decidedly worse. When I terminated my service with this company, I contacted their representative to clear my bill. I went through it with them and settled my bill. I asked if there was anything further that needed to be done, he said no, everything was final. Then, 3 years later, I get a call saying I owe them $63.00 for an additional charge ($4) and a modem ($59). I contacted them again and worked with another representative of theirs and she cleared the modem charge and i paid the additional charge. Then, the very next day I get another call and they want the modem charge. I have no options but to pay this one too. I heartily recommend using any other provider or even do without. Spectrum is a terrible company to work with, use literally ANYONE else! read more

Spectrum assigned a bill/collection to my husbands name just because he had the same name as the person with the bill. Today they tried to pressure him with a "moral obligation" to pay the balance even though the bill itself has no association with my husband. Evil and vindictive to do that to someone. Don't use them, they do not have their customers best interest at heart. read more

Spectrum wifi is abysmal at best. Haven't even had a modem for 7 months and have to replace it. Went in and they didn't have any & said to come back tomorrow. I paid off a phone about a year half. Realize yesterday it was still locked. Call and spectrum said they will unlock a phone they no n longer own when I pay my bill. You are holding my phone hostage when it's know longer associated with my account. You suck spectrum! read more

I guess I'm the fool for paying $100 a month for "top speed" internet. They provide you with "upgraded equipment" that drops connection every other day. Definitely not a trustworthy company. The techs they hire to install lines and equipment are lovely people and I have never had a negative experience with an employee in person. For the last 4 years I been using spectrum home and mobile. Almost $700 a month for everything paid 3 phones and tried to upgrade my daughters phone. Told me everything is good to go and you will have your phone in a couple of days. Told 2 different times that I was good to go on the phone then turn around and tried to take $642 off my card!!!! But told me there was no down payment. I'm about to cut all this stuff off. Don't do business with them. Nothing good. read more

Nolan helped my girlfriend and I set up internet at her new apartment. He got us set up with a very affordable and fast plan super quickly. We were out of the store with a modem and router in about 15 minutes. He even waived an extra $5 a month fee for us. I will never go back to xfinity after this experience read more

Dropped off my internet equipment at the local office and explained I was closing my account. No one told me I had to make a separate call to close the account, and Spectrum continued to charge me for another month of service. very frustrating - I'm moving out of state and cancelled as of the 9th of the month - then got a full bill even though I only used 5 days of service. when i called to cancel they never said anything. when i called to inquire about this i was told too bad, it's in the initial agreement (those are so long, who reads the entire thing?) and it's a monthly service with no prorating allowed. Another time before this, i linked to pay with my bank account - something happened (Spectrum blamed the bank, the bank blamed Spectrum) and it did not go through. Instead of letting me know (it showed on my end it went through) Spectrum sent me a "pay up deadbeat" text and I had to pay a late fee. I will avoid them at all costs in the future. the actual internet service is fine but customer service is terrible and it all seems designed to just charge you more than they should. I just want to say what HORRIBLE service Spectrum provides their customers. Recently my entire neighborhood has been having daily outages, sometimes multiple times per day. Then I had a tech come out and they replaced the line to my house. They laid a cord across my lawn for over 2 weeks. I had to unplug it and wind it up so I could mow on 3 occasions. Then they finally came to bury it. They dug their zig zag trench through my yard and left without burying the cable. I had to call several more times to get them scheduled to come back. They finally buried the cable and I found that even with all these outages, my monthly bill went up! I immediately went to Verizon and signed up for their internet and cancelled my Spectrum service (6/14). I looked at my last bill and it goes from 6/10-7/9. I just called to ask for my bill to reflect the service cancellation on the 14th and they said they don't do that. So even though their service was terrible and I cancelled it, I still have to pay you for 25 days that I didn't have service. AVOID SPECTRUM INTERNET. read more
