So we are new to Menifee so we decided to go with spectrum we got the Internet service TV service and they told us about their cell phone service. So Internet service is OK TV service keeps buffering cell phone service do not recommend it sucks we're going to transfer back to cricket overall, I don't recommend spectrum at all. The customer service reps at this location have always been great. Unfortunately the quality of internet and lack of mobility for streaming television is not worth the price. I travel for work so I would like to watch my TV from my ipad in the hotel or home I'm staying in but you cant if the wifi account does not belong to you. The internet has been down at least 6 times in the last 4 weeks but they dont have record of that. Really? I have text alerts from Spectrum for the outage and restoration of service but conveniently they have no way for me to send this evidence. Upgraded to 400 mbps because 200 wasnt cutting it but now I just pay for high speed, dont actually get the speed. I pay $150/mo for internet and tv but credit for 3 days only amounts to $6? Cant count on Spectrum to work or give a crap about service. Go somewhere else if internet is important to you. For me it's my livelihood. Frontier cant get here fast enough. read more

First of all, let me just say, Mateo, is your go to person. He is so incredibly helpful and his customer service he delivers is top-notch... after being a customer of another mobile company for years I recently transferred to Spectrum and I have to say I have been very pleased with the service, but I had to replace my phone that I came over with and I couldn't go into my local Spectrum where I set up all my services... so I was concerned whether or not I would have challenges doing this from afar, but Mateo worked his darndest to ensure that I left with a new phone that was completely updated and working. I know spectrum is really popular on the East Coast and most of these offices have standing room only so I was pleasantly surprised to walk into this retail store and be waited on immediately. I came into the Spectrum Store to find out why my iPhone does not have cellular service, Mateo looked at my iPhone and noticed that my cellular was turned off, Mateo demonstrated to the customer how to check and turn it on for future references and Mateo also updated my app and the software for my iPhone, Mateo was really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I had the pleasure of dealing with Izzy (& also Chris) I made sure to have time today because usually going to places like this tends to take a huge chunk of my time BUT not today .. Izzy was SUPER helpful .. personable & a breath of fresh air (not one to write Yelp reviews unless someone stands out & is helpful) she definitely was! Chris wasn't the one who helped us but I can tell I would of gotten the same service .. THANK YOU both for making something I was dreading also side note I dealt with George on customer service to get things squared away .. When I moved to the area I set up Spectrum's gig service for $104 per month as they said it would be the fastest internet. Quite often it was incredibly slow, and just streaming a movie became difficult. As I called to ask why, was informed of how cable internet works, and that during peak hour my speeds may suffer. I called numerous times and it is always a headache dealing with their automated line. I'm sure if you go to the store it self, you will get better service, but the customer service on the line is very difficult. They are very polite once you make it to someone. After dealing with bad service for almost a year I decided to switch providers. Calling to cancel was another headache. The process was incredibly long where I was without warning transferred to their retention dept. The rep on the phone there is not as polite, though I don't blame them. I was told my service would have to continue for another few weeks. It was acknowledged I was not under contract, and I said I don't want it to, it doesn't need to I already switched, but I was told that is their policy. At no time was I told I would be charged for a whole additional cycle. But sure enough, 3 weeks later I see a charge. When I call to ask why, I am told no matter what I would get charged for a entire cycle even if I cancelled on the first day, despite having no contractual obligation. Not quite sure how that works, but I was more upset with not being told this to begin with. I do think that was manipulative and less than transparent. I strongly recommend Frontier over Spectrum or Cox. They have no real customer value or care, and their internet services are no where near quality and speeds they claim them to be. read more

Price creep up and up so we decided to cancel service. Of course they wouldn't let you do it through their website and said you must call. 1st time spent 45 minutes with rep on phone constantly being put on hold and finally he came back and said I was setup for cancellation on March 1st...before the new billing cycle. Of course nothing was canceled so I received a new bill. Called again and on and off hold for 65 minutes saying "we are working on it" then suddenly sends me back to customer service as if a new call and they disconnect me again after saying they have no notes from previous calls. Called again today, same treatment for an hour and 9 minutes then suddenly disconnect me again. Seems like this is part of their normal business routine to get more money out of you. Worst customer service ever experienced. Now I'm taking my box to local store and refusing any more charges. 3 calls, almost 3 hours of my time, believe me you don't want to deal with this company! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I too had a similar experience as lacy in the previous comments. I switched carriers to spectrum. My phone has been "stuck" in activation mode for 3 days now. No calling no texting no way of me working as I need my phone. The girl who "helped" me in menifee store gave me an invalid ticket number which wasted an entire day of my time in which I thought it was being resolved. I've called spectrum three times now to escalate and no one knows anything and NO one can help. ZERO ESCALATION. Meanwhile I'm out a phone, can't work, can't call or text, no one can reach me in emergencies. What a complete joke. DO NOT SWITCH TO SPECTRUM MOBILE. read more

I went into the store to return some equipment. Mateo greeted me the minute I walked in. He has a great smile. He processed my return quickly and asked me a couple of questions. That opened up a can of worms since I was considering closing my account because of the cost. We are older adults with a limited income. I have been dealing with Spectrum for a numerous years by phone trying to find a less expensive package that included the channels we watch the most. All phone calls ended up with them telling me that in order to have what I wanted my package could not be changed. When Mateo saw my account he actually started to laugh. At the end of the half hour all my questions were answered about possibly using Roku, the ability to reach the top floor of my house with stronger internet, my bill was lowered by $80 a month and my internet was increased. I can't tell him thank you enough. And, please let him know, I promise to change over my cell phone account as soon as possible. I highly recommend this Spectrum store. Thank you for the help and support today! Not only did we get our internet back up to speed today, we also switched to Spectrum Mobile and saved over $90 a month on our Cell Phone Bill! Outstanding customer service and great experience today. The best part about it is that we are locked into a $45 per month unlimited account. No promotion, no "Here pay $45 per month for 12 months, then have to pay $60 next year." Type of deal. Not with Spectrum. We are all set, and appreciate the support. I signed up for cellular service a big mistake! I bought an iPhone 12pro Max. I was going to trade my iPhone X in. The salesperson Christian could not get the new iPhone 12pro max to allow my data to transfer from the iPhone X to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. After an hour he advises me to take it home and try to do it with my Mac. So I did ams it still would not work. I called Apple support because I could not get the data to transfer and the phone had another issue where it kept going to a black screen while using an app like GPS. Apple told me to return it that it was defective. I went to return the phone and got the run around. First couple times I was told I had to come when Christian was there that SHE could not Take his return. Then when I finally caught him there he told me I was not authorized in the account so I could not return it without the account holder with me. Now why they took my social security number and bank card and my money to sell me a phone without being an account holder is baffling. So I had to come back again with my son. Now you only have 14 days to return the phone or be charged a 45.00 return fee. It was obvious they were trying to time out the return. My son and I were then told the SIM card spectrum mailed to me to use to activate my iPhone X at the store to return the iPhone 12, would not be able to be used because it was assigned a new line phone number by customer service. Yes he sent us away again! Telling us we had to wait for the activation dept to call him back to help him activate the iPhone X. When we got home my son who is a maintenance level tech for Media Com saw right through the scam. He took the SIM card out of the iPhone 12 Pro Max ams put the sim into the iPhone X and turned it on. The SIM card works fine! Christian could have done this easily. The next day I took the iPhone 12 Pro Max back to the store to return it. He gave me all kinds of reasons why he didn't think of doing this. Then when I asked for the 156.00 I gave for the purchase on the IPhone 12 Pro, I was told THE RETURN WILL TAKE THIRTY DAYS ! This was a lie! The next eight weeks were filled with phone call after phone call to customer service who kept telling me they could not help me that I had to go to the store . The billing department was BILLING US FOR 45.00 a month on a 1099.00 debt ON MY IPHONE X.. it was listed as a BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE on the bill with a $1099.00 balance. The debt was manually transferred from the IPHONE 12 Pro Max serial number to my own personal owned device. My iPhone X I was now being charged $1099.00 for. Customer service refuses to help I PHONE 12 Pro Max! On my Apple account I could see the iPhone 12 Pro as one of my Apple devices. So if he thought he was going to steal the phone and sell it .. he was not going to be able to get into my Apple account to do anything with it. But this also meant APPLE KNEW WHERE MY IPHONE 12 Was last seen active at. Finally week eight I was able to get the billing department to email the store as the store has NO LOCAL PHONE NUMBER.. she emailed the store manager and Christian and told them I was going to file a police report. I couldn't even just take my iPhone ten and go to another carrier .. they locked my IME number with a debt. At one point they said the debt is because I'm using the same SIM card as the iPhone 12 Pro had. So the activation department tried to activate the SIM card they Mailed to me in the beginning of it all. Their activation dept could not activate the new sim because MY iPHONE TEN HAS A $1099.00 debt. So they are charging my account 45.00 a month for the third time after taking 156.00 in the beginning for it. Which none of these payments are even coming off the total debt amount. After billing sent the email to the store I went in and again I was given the run around. The women told me she could not do anything. Their is no store manager until the end of the month! Yet this women acknowledged knowing about the email sent to the manager ! She says Christin won't be in until tomorrow. I will leave him a message to call you. If he don't get back with you tomorrow I will when I come to work on Thursday. That was ten days ago. Still no word from either . My account now reads the IPHONE 12 Pro Max was returned. But NO CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN AS IT WAS RETURNED DAMAGED, or later then the 14 days! My account is still being charged the 45.00! My iPhone X is paid in full on the bill! But I'm still being charged for a phone I don't have! Where is the iPhone 12 Pro Max? Why do they think they can keep hundreds of dollars they took from my bank account in a phone I don't have? What the hell is going on in this store ? Within this company ? How do you have a retail store and no management? How can there be CUSTOMER CARE WHEN THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING.? If I can give 0 stars it would still be too many. Do not bother with this location. Employees are completely uncaring and not helpful whatsoever. Setting up our account a mistake was which was realized months later and they would do nothing to even attempt to help. 5 employees in the store with no other customers and all of them said they couldn't do a thing. They only referred me to customer care by telephone. Once I was able to get through to an agent she advised that they were wrong not to help with a call ticket which was needed and apologized tremendously on their behalf.
