Worst experience ever! First of all I work from home and told them I needed service same day. Said they wouldn't escalate my request because nobody would answer anyways. Second they said they can send a technician 3 days later for my location... I told them I cannot miss any more work so they gave me a temporary fix. Went to set that up and it did not work and made me miss even more work. Rude customer service even with a manager involved! avoid this location at all cost !!! they just tell you what you want to hear & they gave us a "temporary fix" to shut us up and leave THAT DID NOT WORK! Horrible experience with Spectrum cancellation policy and deceptive practices. Zero Stars is what they DESERVE!!!!! I had a very frustrating experience trying to cancel Spectrum service today. First the live chat has the option to downgrade/cancel services but told me I had to wait 5-10 min for a live agent who told me I could not do that with chat and had to call 1-800 number. When I called and was on hold for 4 minutes, the rep immediately told me after verification that I had to be connected to the "disconnect team". OK....here we go with the run around to several departments (tactic to get me frustrated and just hang up the phone. I don't care...I will wait many hours...I want to disconnect service)!!! Next, after reviewing my account, I was told if I disconnect my service today (10/05), there will be no credit or refund even though the services will be cancelled today because it's a "monthly service" and in their terms and agreement they explain this unless you live in New York or Maine. I explained that I've never heard of a policy like this with other cable service providers, and I was upset that I would be paying for a service I'm no longer using. The agent advised me to call back on 10/30 or 10/31 to disconnect or downgrade services. I know that scheme...hopefully you will forget because the date to call back is so far away and then got you for another 30 days. The whole situation feels like a scheme to keep customers paying for a service they don't want. This has me seriously considering canceling all Spectrum services, both business and residential. I've never experienced this kind of tangled, opaque process with other cable/internet service providers. It's a clear rip-off in my opinion. I'm scheduled to call back on October 30 to complete the cancellation; if I don't, they'll keep charging another month. It feels like they thrive on customers forgetting to call. Note: I'm sharing this to warn others about the potential for misleading cancellation practices and charges. Ask about this upfront when considering them as your provider. We are currently paying $362.99 for cable (no premium channels: 165 channels), 1Gig internet which we never get that speed, and landline phone. Spectrum UPFRONT: Be clear and transparent about your cancellation process, offer fair proration or credit the account for unused service. We currently have Spectrum Mobile and Spectrum Internet. We were assured that tomorrow, we would be able to purchase a new phone, add a line , and have our account stay in good standing. Tell me why, then , that we paid our bill and the representative assured us that we are current... only to go home and to find out he lied? And he overpaid the internet bill? As a lifelong Android user, I started my new phone journey back on 8/13/2025, as I had it for 6 years. When I walked in Chris helped me and although he certainly was not warm and fuzzy, I felt like he recognized he was coming across condescending and rude, so he seemed to have changed his mood. I had to go back to the store on 8/23 since the new Android phone I had just purchased was acting up. I asked if I could just change it to an iPhone, since that was what the majority of my family used and I was still within the 14-day return policy. I was told by Efrain, that he couldn't help me with the issues I was sharing with him but I could just YouTube it and that I couldn't switch to an iPhone. As I continued to experience issues, I decided on 8/30/25 to go to another Spectrum location hoping someone there could assist me better. Not the case, actually extremely HORRIBLE experience, which I have already reported a Yelp review on separately. That said, I returned to the Ontario branch and found myself in the hands of Joseph and Linda, who were ABSOLUTELY heaven sent. Once Joseph listened to my entire journey, he immediately got me into a new iPhone without question. Linda jumped in and helped when necessary and together the two of them completely changed the terrible and negative experience I had on Spectrum. Leadership really needs to look at these two individuals and use them to cross train Efrain and Chris on customer centric behaviors. And if the locations are tied together, the manager at the Corona store needs to be severely retrained as well. If you can't be passionate, helpful, and recognize that it takes a servant heart to help customers then perhaps it's not the job for you. It clearly is the job for Joseph and Linda. I felt the care towards me immediately from them. I didn't have to go into every little detail of my experience over the course of two to three weeks with the previous agents, they got it immediately BUT still took the time to listen and make me feel heard. Spectrum: Spectrum Internet has been charging me for 300mbps at $84.99 a month but every employee there has confirmed with me that I'm only receiving 100mbps. I have spoken with every department who confirms that I am not receiving the services I am paying for, which is a difference of $54.99 a month. Spectrum is stating they can only offer me a $10.00 credit because I should have known. I should know what 300mbps acts like or what kind of service that is even though I am just a normal person. How would I know? They are unwilling to help in ANY way. I spent over 3 hours on the phone with them. After 8 years, I will absolutely be going with another service. This is horrid customer service and a class action lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

Charter SCREWD up EVERY account, even after I called the card services BEFORE attempting to make the payment. Even though there is thousands of available credit. Now, after 5 days if tying, and 5 different card, I have 5 LOCKED cards, amounting to $3000 tied up and I am unable to use. Customer Service says OH WELL.
