Spent days on the phone with customer service, which promised a $60.00 internet and wifi, was transferred to a female "supervisor" who tried to admonish me for being 3 days different on the date I recalled cancelling, then said she would not offer any reduction. Worst retail experience of my life. Five guys standing around doing nothing while three customers wait in the electronic que for over an hour. They're trained to upsell you to cell phones not to help you. I came in just to return a cable box I no longer needed and they wouldn't take it. After 70 minutes I left. I live in Rancho. Horrible Internet reliability. There is no other provider in my area so I am stuck with Spectrum. I have a problem with suddenly getting thousands of spam emails. They told me they no longer change email addresses and for me to get a Google or Yahoo email. WHAT????? I am paying for your darn service. My Internet randomly goes out. They told me it was my router. I paid $300 for a new router and it still happens. They are the worst company ever. If you live in an area where you have a choice, don't choose Spectrum. read more

Spectrum Internet is the worst. Horrible spotty intermittent service with buffering. If I have Sirius radio playing and then watch a video bat the same time Sirius cuts off. Then they try and tell me it is my equipment. I just swapped over from frontier and I have my own routers and never had any issues before with my stuff so that tells me it is their side. They said if they don't find a problem they may charge me for a service call. This is the same thing that happened when I had them before. The only reason I tried again was the sales rep said my area was swapped over to fiber network and even gave me a date when they did it. I have the worst service for 1 year straight. My bill has gone up 20 dollars a month. Still my WiFi on my phone goes in and out daily. Didn't receive phone calls for 5 months while at home fixed after 5 visits to store maybe 11 hours of time il never get back and 2 visits from tech people. I switched over to Spectrum. They promised me that they would be a good connection but all I've had is have you ever got the SOS? What the heck does that mean? Seems like wherever I go I get this SOS no phone service no nothing but they promised me that the phone service was gonna be good and that they use all of Verizon towers, Well I guess you should say if you pay cheap you get cheap and that's exactly what it is cheap because they don't tell the truth they have the worst service worse than T-Mobile. After several years of confusing bills and ridiculous explanations that kept me going in circles on phone calls that lasted far too long, I am finally done with Spectrum. Even my experience with canceling was terrible. I was instructed to plan my disconnection at the end of my billing cycle because it is "paid in advance" but now I am being told I still owe them for the last month because according to the lackluster customer service representative I just spoke with, it is not really paid in advance, but rather 18 days after it starts and 12 days before it ends. They also make sure to repeatedly tell you that they "do not prorate because it's a monthly subscription service." Cool. Thanks. Ridiculous. The way they operate is kind of shady, they continued to increase prices with no notice and every person I spoke with was less than helpful in explaining why. They are all very "it is what it is, take it or leave it" in their delivery. I understand that business is business but with the monopoly that this company currently has in my area I find it difficult wrap my head around why the more successful a business becomes the less effort they make to stay competitive and to retain customers. I took my elderly mother in to downgrade her services because her cable, internet and landline were $260. We waited about 10 mins due to the many people in line which was not bad. Then Cameron called us over and he helped us find a fantastic deal for her. She now has her landline, internet AND mobile service and is saving $160. Cameron patiently and expertly transferred her data to her new phone, joked around with us and made her feel good about the change. She talked about him for some time afterwards. Spectrums ZUMO is awful . You sre constantly have stations quit working. They have their 3 dots (liken to the circle of death we all have seen). Shows you ask to record, don't. TV or streaming voices cut out or vice versa no picture but sound. The picture you recieve blurs out. When you turn ZUMO on nothing happens sometimes, just a black screen. Don't waste your time or money on this. When you complain, Spectrum will not give you credit for bad service but they will constantly raise what you pay. read more

I haven't bothered to read the bad reviews but I had to come here and leave a great one. Been to the store three different times now and each time Cameron has been fantastic to work with. Seems genuinely friendly and answers questions before I even think of them. The other woman with long hair I'm so sorry I forgot your name but you've been a great help as well. Cameron went above and beyond to hook up my new phone when I received it transferring all my information apps pics - everything- even logging into my old carrier to get the information needed to make the process of switching to them as seamless as possible. If I could give zero stars I would. Poor cable and internet service - they force you to get a landline otherwise they charge ridiculous amounts for their service which SUCKS! We moved out of state and called to cancel 1 day after my billing cycle closed - they are trying to charge me over $185 for one day of service - plus the $329 for equipment I returned. Called to get an adjustment- "we don't do that because we are a monthly service company and changed to that in 2019". I waited 40 minutes to be called after signing in (there were 2 customer reps) when I entered the store and there were only 3 customer ahead of me when I finally got called there were 8 waiting only to find out that the only person who could take my cash payment just left for lunch! So I had to wait till he got back an additional 30 mins. In addition to that, there were times that there were 3 reps just sitting at their computer not calling on any customers. This has got to be the worst customer service I've ever come across and has made me decide to switch providers.... Whatever happened to "cash is king!"they kept pressuring me to use my credit or debit card to pay my bill and only then they could help me, cause they said their system was down for cash payments??? I could understand that being the for credit or debit cards, but cash! And not only that but once I got to a customer rep. So I tried to get internet service online and over the phone, there's a "SELF INSTALL KIT" which it's self explanatory. But there's the same charge if you get one delivered or pick it up yourself. When I called to talked to someone on the phone and online they said it's a activation fee. But I have to install it I have to call to have it set up. SO WHATS THE CHARGE FOR ??
