I hate to be so negative, but I feel like I need to warn others about the incompetence of the staff at this place. I switched my phone service to Verizon this morning, but my wife's phone wasn't working. So I went to this place looking for help. The lady that was "helping" us stated that this is the device issue, something about the phone not being able to read the sim card, bla bla, implying that we need to get a new phone. This didn't make any sense to me, as the phone worked fine in the morning before we made a switch to Verizon. So I went to the Verizon store in Moreno Valley, and in 5 minutes they activated my wife's phone. It would not bother me if this lady just said she didn't know what the problem is. I regret coming here. Brian said $80 a month and now I pay $140 a month. They make u sign on a tablet and u see nothing. You sign without seeing any paperwork. Biggest mistake ever. Don't sign anything u can't see. Thats how they get you. I want to simply cancel with Verizon but I can't because I would owe hundreds. These people will scam you. Regardless if you get a guarantee from the Regional Manager Luis, you will still end up paying for fees that were not discussed. You will get promised and even shown on their computer how much you will be paying and once that bill hits it will be completely different. No wonder why they can't print out proof for you. Don't fall for "promotions" or thinking that these people actually want to help you, they are there to scam you and make money off you. When you go back to see what happened all of a sudden there's hidden fees that there's nothing they can do about to take them off your account. Very disappointing. Be careful. My phone was saying ESIM Failure and was stuck in SOS mode. The worker said my SIM card was damaged and I needed to pay for a new one for $40 but he was unable to do anything because the bill was past due; even though the account owner already set up a payment arrangement, so I left. I went to the Verizon in the Galleria Mall and the worker just pressed a few buttons and my phone was good to go within 10 minutes. He said my SIM card was fine, it just had to do with the new update. Now it makes me wonder if the worker at the plaza was aware my SIM card was good, just wanted to pocket the $40, or if he really didn't know what he was doing. read more

From the moment I walked in, I was treated exceptionally by Brian. He listened intently to the issue I was having and knew exactly how to fix it. Upon review of my account, he removed some features that I wasn't using that automatically saved me money each month, including updating my home Internet router. I also ordered a new phone, and he kept in constant contact with me letting me know the status and then when it came in. Came into the store to purchase a new one for my wife. After waiting in the store for around twenty minutes, listening to the employees act like used car salespeople to customers who were clueless about what they were getting themselves into with different deals thrown at them. We finally got to be assisted by Moe when I told him we weren't interested in any deals, just wanted to purchase the phone outright, he said You can't blah blah. We left, drove to a Verizon corporate store in Corona, bought the phone outright, and were in and out within 20 minutes, with no gimmicks or scams. I will contact customer services on Monday, filing a formal complaint based on their misrepresentation and shady business practices. Watch out for the one with the feather tattoos on the side of his neck because he makes up rules and claims they are printed on the receipt!! I'll get to him later. I suspected a defective charger after almost a week of my phone staying at 15% or less battery-- and came in around 8pm with the charger and my receipt asking if I needed a box too because i was sure I didn't have it anymore. Mr. Pompa did not say I did and then went on to verify I had a defective charger-- 30 minutes passed because at first he tried saying nothing was wrong with it. He proceeded to open a new charger box but instead tried giving me the charger they have out for their phones and customers to use. He added that the new one was $10 more than the one I purchased but they also weren't carrying the one they sold me anymore. When I told him I wanted the new one he just opened he said I didn't have a box so I can have the one that they have out without a box like mine. I said that is not a fair trade and I wanted to speak to his manager about this, he pretended to call his manager "Andrea" and left to the back room where I couldn't hear him. He came back and said I had to bring in the box of the defective charger in order to give me the new one. I reminded him that I asked this question about the box and he didn't say anything about needing it. I also told him why did he walk away if I said I wanted to speak to his manager?? He said she's off and I can't speak to her. He said I had to bring the box tomorrow and I said well what if I don't have it then what?? I don't get a new charger?? And where does it say in writing that I need a box??? That's when the feather tattoo guy chimes in and says it's in the RECEIPT. I start reading the receipt out loud. I ask them to point where it says something about a box. It doesn't. I vow to never return. Other points against them: they don't let customers use the restroom. Look at your receipts because they charged me for an extra charging pad when I told them I didn't want it. It was on the receipt and I wish I had noticed it earlier. They don't care about you once they've made their sale. read more

SCAMMERS is the best description for this place. The store should be shut down before they take advantage of more hardworking customers. Ridiculous, awful, horrible, reprehensible customer service. They treated me and 3 other customers in the store like we were a burden for them to help. Last I checked, customer service was about helping the needs of the customer, not trying to avoid from working at all. First of all, while my mom and I were waiting in line to be helped. I noticed both workers were rude to the clients they were dealing with at the time. One man walked out fed up because the guy refused to call Verizon to help him through the process. The other older couple, now that is what really riled up. As a daughter of 2 elderly parents, this elderly couple were truly needing someone to patiently help them through the process of understanding their phones and what deal would be best for them. The lady working was a total B to them- condescending, rude, and dishonest. I noticed she was trying to tell them they only had one option and she was pushy with them and flat out rolled her eyes when they asked her to explain a phone plan to them. I feel like she was manipulating them and should be reported for trying to scam an elderly couple. Once the guy finally helped us, he was distracted looking at his own phone as if he had zero interest in helping us. I had previously 2 months before come for a screen protector for my phone and the guy helping us, I think his name was Brandon, sold me on the Home Internet system saying it was only $25 and super easy to use and super easy if it didn't work to just return the box to them and the charges would be dropped from my phone. When I returned to San Diego, the box wouldn't power up- I worked with customer service for 3 hours and 3 different people. Finally, the tech troubleshooter said they were not seeing power on their own and it was a lemon, so they would send me a box with a mailing label to me to easily return it. It never came. On 8/20, I saw I was charged for a service that I was told had been cancelled and I couldn't even access it because of a broken modem/router box. She also said they would send me a box with a mailing label, that never came. So when I was back in Riverside, I decided to do what the sales man (I think he was Brandon) told me- bring the box back to them. Well, this unprofessional jerk that was patronizing to me said I couldn't leave it there. Instead of offering to help me, he said that I would have to either call this certain number or take it to a corporate store. He and the lady (the store manager) said there was nothing that could be done. Asked him to get on the phone to help us through the process because the previous 4 phone calls to Verizon were a waste of my time and fruitless. He refused to do so. What kind of customer service is that? I've been to other stores where if there is a problem, they try to troubleshoot and serve as a liaison. This store should be flagged and shut down. Avoid at all costs. read more

Worse part is I have ZERO way to create online because it only will TEXT a verification code and its not a PHONE ITS A HOT SPOT. I have spent hours on the phone with 800# they are all from out of country and have no ability to actually resolve anything. If Verizon doesn't stand behind promise Ill be going to Better Business. I went in trying to upgrade and trade in two of my lines, the girl there tried adding $130 extra on my plan for hotspots and then said because they are retailer store that they charge $100 extra of top of the phones!!! And I would have to pay $600 up front for the phone and my phone bill would go up and extra $95 a month!!! The girl said that because their phones are bundle phones only!!' I was waiting for my email to pick up my new phone I ordered online. After three hours went by. I finally called because it still said pending and the guy told me oh it's pending. We just have to wait for it to be complete and then you can come get it. Which I thought was weird because I don't understand why it takes so long to get a phone from the back for me to go pick up. I called back again 30 minutes before closing and another girl answered and told me oh it was sold to someone else so we don't have it for you. We have to cancel your order. Not only was I waiting this entire time to go pick up my phone now I'm having difficulty trading in my old device because it was originally on that order for trade-in. He also explained me how to use this new Apple device. He provided a great service to a deaf customer including me I also was impressed with Manager David who explained me about Apple iPhone device. We communicated through writing paper back and forth. Both of them spent a lot of time with me and made sure I am satisfied with Verizon's services and iPhone device.
