Unprofessional, the middle aged asian gentleman with glasses who works there is just flat out rude and has no sense of manners at all. I came in requesting a quote for contact lens and to see if I could grab a pair of glasses as well. He quotes me the price for the contacts then opens some drawers for me to view some frames. After looking over some frames I decided to go with the frames instead of contacts. After letting him know he slams his hand and throws his pen down saying "I knew you'd do that, I already put in the order for the contacts I need to cancel it now" then puts his hand over his face and starts talking to himself....first off no one told you to go and place the order. He has no idea how to work a business and how to properly treat customers. The service I received at this optomotry office was one of my worst customer service experiences ever. STAY AWAY read more

I have seen both optometrists at this location and have liked both of them. I think Dr Yu spent a little more time with me but both were able to address my concerns and assure me that my vision was stable and did not increase my prescription just because I was having trouble with focusing.. it is good to hear they want me to keep training my eyes so vision doesn't get worse. My son has been a patient of Dr. Wu's for a couple of years now. He has severe myopia and has been wearing Ortho K lenses since he was 8 years old. Dr. Wu is a trained specialist in these lenses. She diligently monitors my sons vision. He no longer needs glasses or contacts during the day. I have also recommended my dad to this office and he has seen Dr.Gun. Peter was amazing! Such a nice and funny guy. And so helpful! I broke my glasses last weekend and needed a new pair ASAP. It was kind of an emergency cause I can't drive without them and my insurance was being a little annoying. But Peter was so cool about it and even called them up for me for an annoying 40 minutes just to help get it sorted. He got me an appointment the DAY OF and my glasses should be ready by the end of the week whereas other places wouldn't see me until April. Thank you so much guys! I've always felt truly cared for and have been treated with immense respect and kindness even in difficult circumstances, as well as helped quickly even when they were very busy or I had complex time constraints. Thanks to their constant professionalism and outstanding, personalized care, I've stayed a patient even while living 12+ years overseas, coming as often as my visits allowed. Over the years, I've noticed how they place a high value on having the latest diagonostic tools and technology to assess the whole eye health. As a younger person I didn't always fully understand how valuable that was until a whole eye health exam a few years ago caught something very serious in the early enough stages to actually do something about it and thus gave me time to get help and keep my independence, ablity to drive and ablity to work. This place, a little suite in a small shopping mall, not only asking you to follow their instructions to wear masks, but also asking you to do the extreme. Their front door was blocked. You are asked by text ahead of time when you get there, then wait until someone come to get you, take temperature and asked twice to use their sanitizer before service. I was there for the third time with the same service providing, that is, to make progressive lens. This time I was very unhappy after paying $534. The lens were off and no way I could use them. A man who served me was ineffectively trouble shoot and handle customers' complains. I was patient, but could hardly understand him when he was trying to defend the defective of their products. The second man "Peter" is a manager came to join the service man, was rudely interrupt and aggressively said to me that if I was not a long time customer (over 10 years), I would be asked to leave. Is that how a manager handle customer's unhappy situations and keep your business alive? He has no place in the business. The message I got, if you are unhappy, unluck, don't complain! They are nice to you only when they ask you to pay $534 for a pair of progressive lens (you heard me!). They does not take "tone of complains" when you are unhappy on their products and give them a chance to correct the problem. I felt unbelievably embarrassed (first time in my life to experience this type of situation). I felt I was threaten by two men. I calmly asked what they WANTED me to do and left. I was looking for a new eye doctor and by recommendation I decided to give Spectrum optometry a try. They are convenient since it's one of the few places that opens until 7pm on weeknights. My visit was with Dr. Lee. She is nice and professional and nothing is wrong at all. However, I don't have a great experience with the staff members and my review is solely on the services by the staff members. As a first time customer, I would expect when I said I wanted to make an appointment with Dr. Pamela Wu, the staff should have made my appointment with Dr. Pamela Wu. However, that's not the case! My initial appointment was with Dr. Pamela Wu but a few days later, a staff called and wanted to reschedule due to some personal emergency, which was fine. When my appointment was rescheduled, I thought I was seeing Dr. Pamela Wu but it didn't occur to me that not only it was NOT Dr. Pamela Wu, it was someone else. The staff failed to inform that it was another doctor who would be seeing me. (NOTE: minus point) Fortunately, the guy who called for rescheduling was nice. However, that was not the case with my co-worker who was also supposed to go to the same doctor. Instead, a female staff who called my co-worker for rescheduling was very b*tchy. According to my co-worker, not only she was rude and full of attitudes. She told my co-worker that all doctors are the same why does it have to be Dr. Pamela Wu. Due to that reason, my co-worker didn't even bother reschedule and refused to go at all. (Another minus point) After my eye exam, one of the staff members was trying to promote their special sale for eye solutions. She was trying to promote in English but another female staff, rudely interrupted her and said in Mandarin "enough enough, don't sell". She didn't know I understood Mandarin since I spoke mostly English. I found the other female staff not only very rude to her co-worker but extremely ill-mannered and uneducated as a service professionals. She doesn't have the basic understanding of good etiquette. (Major minus points!!) I was very disappointed by the staff service and it would be my first and last visit! Especially in the line of service professions, you only get one chance to impress the first time customer, instead the staff didn't act wisely and showed the ugly side of it. It doesn't even matter if the eye doctor was good because the only experience I remember was the rudeness of the staff. read more
