I would give no stars if I could. Do not come here for ANYTHING related to your phone. These guys are straight up LIARS. We told them our phone was broken, not only did he not tell us it was insured he said we could turn in the phone for a $400 credit. When we brought the phone in he refused. Ended up switching to T-Mobile, spectrum service was spotty at best. T-mobile is more per month but has excellent perks that come with the plan I joined. I travel so I like the free onboard airline Wi-Fi included with my plan ($49mo/value), Apple TV ($6.99/mo), Netflix (basic plan $9.99mo) and more (like free Season Pass MLB)- all included. It's not for everyone, but The added value of these perks make this plan make sense with T-Mobile for me. read more

Specialist Salena Colorado is very good. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with customers. We switched mobile service to Spectrum and got new phones. Salena made the process seem easy and transfer of data went smoothly. It is a very busy store so you do need an appointment to lessen wait times. read more

Unfortunately the worst of the worst but only game in my area. I just received a charge from Xfinity on my charge for $200 out of no where. I have had issues with internet from Spectrum and I called and probably speaking to some guy from India or Pakistan looking for help. I made the mistake giving this guy my credit card to expedite my internet repair and now I receive several unauthorized charges on my account. I'll dispute and get this repaired but spectrum is one huge hassle to go business. read more

What in the world? I just signed up for internet service but didn't want the equipment shipped in case it arrived during the rain storm. I mistakenly thought I could swing in and pick it up quickly. Big mistake. When I arrived. There were 4 agents working and 1 client waiting. One hour and 15 minutes later I have still not received help. What could possibly take so long for any service whether opening an account, returning equipment, picking up etc? The snails pace they move here others could build full cities in. If there were other options, they'd be out of business. Finally giving up and leaving. This is why monopolies should not exist. Sheesh! read more

So I switched to spectrum mobile because it is a good deal for 3 lines. I purchased 3 phones from them. I received the phones on the 16th of March. Activated 2 phones but the third phone did not have the correct phone number due to a sim card mix-up. So I have been on the phone with them everyday to see when the correct number will be ported for the phone. It has now been 20 days and still not resolved. You cannot speak with a supervisor, they say they are working on it... .Ridiculous They claim it is because they have a new program, not my problem. I need this resolved! read more

I needed a new phone. I should have just gone to Apple, but I've been very happy with Spectrum mobile. Well, if you have all the time in the world, maybe it would be good. The phone I wanted wasn't in stock (too inexpensive, apparently, to warrant stocking two days before Black Friday). So they Fedexd it, but the customer service rep failed to say that there was no adapter for the new connector included. So I got a phone I couldn't charge. But I don't want go into Apple on Black Friday. So I went back to this store to buy the adaptor. I had to wait 20 min just to check out. They have inadequate staffing. I won't go back. read more

Spectrum is the worse TV provider I have ever used!!! The ONLY reason I'm using them is because it's included with my HOA fee. The sound in movies is frequently about 5+ seconds off. It's very frustrating to watch a movie that is so out of sync that the male actor's mouth is moving but the sound is a female voice or a female's mouth is moving but the sound is a male voice. It is extremely difficult to follow a movie where the scenes have changed long before you hear the actor's comments from the previous scene. This is just one example of the many problems I've had with Spectrum. read more

EVERYTHING at Spectrum has improved over the 19 years I've been using their cable and internet services. It was Time Warner Cable in 2004 when I moved to the desert and then TWC became Spectrum. Over the phone the tech support keeps improving. What hasn't improved is when you go into one of the physical locations and the only thing in the physical locations that has improved is that they are new buildings that are clean and modern but NOT ENOUGH SEATING and you will wait HOURS if you don't have an appointment. There is no TRIAGE or anyone to direct you. Just a self service checkin machine. The Palm Desert location on Dinah Shore and Monterey Avenue has seven customer service counters and only ONE was manned with at least 10 customers waiting to be tended to. I was the ONLY customer in there with an appointment because the previous day (Saturday) I went in with NO appointment and I was 13 in line with 3 manned customer service stations. I left after an hour and I was still #10 in the queue. Every time an employee finishes with the customer they go to the back room for a few minutes. Why? This is unacceptable and has not changed in the 19 years I've been coming here. I will never use their mobile phone service for fear that I need help in one of their physical locations. I pay 300$ each for 2 accounts every month so I expect better. This is not the DMV or a government agency where you would expect this kind of bad customer service. EVERY single time I come to this place my blood pressure and patience is assaulted. I asked to talk to a manager yesterday and 'Ramon' said there was no manager on duty I was very upset and he was egging me on to engage with a customer that was telling me to stop complaining. He said to me, 'the customer is asking you a question'. He was hoping for an escalation. The lack of outrage is what I don't understand even with all the people that must wait HOURS to get waited on. This is a service business and these locations have NO customer service. I repeat this happens EVERY time I go to one of these locations in the desert. The only times there ISN'T a HUGE wait is when I need a remote control and just wave the remote and they replace it. I'm super disappointed in the physical locations at Spectrum. My HOA in Rancho Mirage includes Spectrum in my monthly rate. Prior to Spectrum, I had a Xfinity Comcast for 25 years up north & never had a problem, ever! Conversely, Spectrum is just the opposite. It is almost impossible to watch TV due to constant screen freezing & out of sync sound so bad that sometimes there is a 3 to 4 second delay in voices matching lip movement. The customer service Reps & technicians are clueless as to how to help. I could go on for hours, but why ? Spectrum talks a good game, yet cannot deliver. I'm posting this review on the Palm Desert location, because there isn't an option to review the overall company performance. Spectrum apparently conducted an equipment upgrade in my area on 12/30/2022. We work from home, and suddenly in the middle of an important project, we lose everything! Internet, cable, phone. After 6 calls to Spectrum, the best they could do is an appointment in 5 days!!!! In the meantime, what, we .........don't work? Unbelievable the poor customer support Spectrum offers. We tried for two days to make an appointment at the Palm Desert store, the rep that answered the phone said, this location doesn't take appt's. We tried online, kept getting an error code. SO, we drive to the store with a lobby FULL of customers and two employees working! After waiting 3 HOURS!!!! we were able to meet with someone. They are completely UNDER staffed to handle the volume of business, you wait 30+ minutes on the phone, 5 days for an appointment, and 3 hours in one of their stores. I call that a COMPLETE FAIL. I would give them zero stars if I could. read more

Stay clear of Spectrum! The customer service and tech support are absolutely terrible. We signed up for their 2 line, unlimited data phone plan. I also bought a new Google 6 from them in April, 2022. Phone began to malfunction and Google replaced it. Spectrum could not figure out how to activate the new device and instead, deactivated my service, without my approval and without notice. When you call customer service and ask to speak with a supervisor, they tell you than you will receive a call back within 24-48 hours. I made this request 3 times. NO ONE EVER CALLED. Spectrum still cannot activate the phone and I am unable to port my phone number to another provider because of their incompetence! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with them. read more

Today was my 2nd visit to the Spectrum store in the past week. Last week, I went to exchange our internet router. After checking in to see a representative you sit and wait. There are only 2 representatives who are helping people, and they take an excruciating amount of time with customers (trying to upsell them to get Spectrum Cell service). We learned that the router wasn't compatible with our wireless devices, and the Spectrum whoservice man that came to the house last Friday said that we should buy our own router, as the Spectrum router wouldn't be compatible. I arrived to return the router at the store at 4:30 this afternoon. I checked in and started to wait. While I was there I couldn't help but notice how rude the representatives were to the customers being served. One woman yelled at a man (like he was a child) who was returning equipment in original boxes. She made him take the equipment out of the boxes. While waiting, I was using my phone to watch TV and they thought I was filming them. When they called me up 50 minutes later, the representative told me to delete whatever I had filmed in the store. I said I was just watching TV on my phone, but they would not help me unless I deleted something on my phone. I deleted a couple of old photos before I got help. Never again. read more

Customer service is an oxymoronic concept at Spectrum. I purchased a phone from the Palm Desert location off Dinah Shore, at the beginning of July. There were technical issues from day one. The in store personnel were not at all helpful in resolving the problems and told me it was a faulty sim card. Really? So pull it out and replace the damn thing. Ok, new sim card and problems still persist. Seventy minutes talking to the customer service line did nothing. I went in to the Palm Springs store twice in a two day period. The phone was swapped out, and I had service for a couple hours before the phone ceased to function, yet again. Despite the documented service issues, Spectrum refused to unlock the phone any earlier than before the standard two months, despite that I paid cash and bought the phone outright when I activated the service. The phone manufacturer immediately diagnosed the problem as being weak signal strength on Spectrum's end. In order to get properly functioning cellular service, I took my old phone into ATT store directly next door to Spectrum and had service reinstated I absolutely plan to cancel service with Spectrum once two months has passed and they will unlock the phone, allowing me to connect with another carrier. And, I would have our cable service with Spectrum disconnected too, but it is the only way we have access to the Dodgers ballgames. So beware consumers, as there are quite a few cellular companies from which to pick from, but you you will find varying degrees of quality assurance, technical support, and customer service-- or a complete lack thereof. Caveat emptor; let the buyer beware. read more

I only gave them one star because it won't let me put zero. I started off a spectrum with a low rate and good service. Once I switched apartments they upgraded my plan without me knowing. I had specifically asked for no changes to be made to my plan and they told me that no changes would be made and somehow my internet went from $25 a month to $120. After a month of this I moved out of my apartment and in with my girlfriend. As I was moving a service tech came out to collect the equipment. I paid the remaining balance with this guy gave him the equipment and asked him to close the account. He put the equipment in his trunk. The account never got closed. They're hitting me with bills for equipment I don't have and they refuse to hold their employees accountable. I don't understand how a company this size could have such horrible customer service. If you're considering spectrum I would recommend anything but I now have to waste my time trying to resolve issues that they have created. I wouldn't recommend spectrum to my worst enemy!!!! read more

Although there was a bit of a wait (we came at a busy afternoon time), it was a great customer service experience. If you don't want to wait in line, you can always make a reservation beforehand or come later in the evening (towards the end of the night there was virtual no wait). We worked with Kenny -- huge shoutout to Kenny for being so helpful, knowledgeable, funny, and kind as we figured out our mobile issues. We came in with a phone/service transfer that was not the easiest process to figure out and he was very patient and SO helpful! At one point he was dedicated to helping us and another customer at the same time - he's a huge asset to the store! He was genuinely so pleasant to talk with and it was a great experience because of him. Even when it was necessary to do part of the process on the phone, the woman over the phone was helpful and pleasant too! read more
