Excellent service you can tell they value their customers and take great pride in their work will never take my cars any where else

I am very shocked by all of the other terrible reviews for this place- I had a great experience here. My 99 chevy cavalier wouldn't pass smog so I brought it to them. $150 for the diagnostic and they worked on it for quite a few days over a 2 week period. My car still could not pass smog and the technician who was working on it wasn't getting paid for all the time/effort he put in. They had the catalytic converter warrantied out, changed the alternator and re-smogged and still wouldn't pass. When the worker (I wish I could remember his name!) told me how sorry he was that they were throwing in the towel he said that he wasn't charging me for changing the alternator or re-smogging and was acutally giving me $50 back in gift certificates for them not being able to figure out the problem. I left very satisfied although my car didn't pass smog but paying only $100 for all of what they did is awesome. Definitely recommend them!! read more

Geraldo and the guys at SpeeDee were so helpful and so nice. We took our car there on a Sunday and the team really worked hard to figure out what was wrong with it, they stayed in touch with us and let us know what was happening through out the process. They also gave us a coupon for Enterprise. They were all so nice and helpful. We will definitely take our cars there for regular maintenance and any problems that pop up along the way. read more

A while back I tried to have my car serviced at the dealer's across the blvd., but couldn't get through. I saw this place and stopped by. They acted like they had been waiting for me and my car. They took care of my service, and ever since then I have called them first. They have done my oil changes, tire installation, brakes, etc. Every single person who works there is professional, courteous, and friendly. The work is stellar. I am totally happy with the quality of the work. I have called to make appointments, and they tell me to come in, and everything seems to flow well. I heard my brakes squeal once and thought I was going to need new brakes. I cringed at the thought of spending money on a car I'm about to sell, but brakes are important. I needed somewhere that day and was taken in easily by 10:30. They greeted me with the nicest smiles and assured me they would let me know soon. I waited only a few minutes and was told my brakes were fine and safe and did not need to be changed. I was amazed at their honesty and grateful for their happy customer service. No charge and I will be back for sure. Honesty is hard to find now a days. If you want happy people with honest service then you found your place. read more

Brought my car in for a tune up. They told me it would be 30 minutes to take a look and get the best package options together for me. I go eat and come back. First of all, I am pretty mechanically inclined, I just didn't feel like changing my own oil today. So I took it to Speedee Oil Change (note I brought my own oil, oil filter and gas treatment. I purchased the 17 point inspection, fluid top off, and oil change for $29.99 ($10.00 was removed from the original price of $39.99 because I brought my own oil & filter). This is when the nightmare began. One of the attendants accidentally put my high mileage gas treatment in the motor. They had to flush the motor. They went to the auto part store to get/replace my high mileage gas treatment and bought the wrong one, from the one I purchased. This after about a hour of waiting for them to correct their oil mistake. I asked if my rear differential oil level was checked and the attendant couldn't say for sure, but said he would make sure it was. After our conversation I never saw anybody under my vehicle performing this check. Additionally when I got home, I lifted my hood and noticed none of my fluids where top off as the "17 point inspection" indicates. Now I never let my fluids get low, but I do want what I pay for. So, to sum up my experience, horrible! and be aware of their so called 17 point inspection and fluid top off. I will never, never, go back to this business.m read more

Got my smog retake done today, looked on the speed Dee website for hours and it stated an 8.00am opening time. I showed up at 8.00 and told the (I think was the manager) I was here for my retakes and he stated that " we cannot do it until 9.00am, we don't have a tech for smog until then. I did state that isn't noted (smog until after 9.00 am) on the website when business hour start at 8 00am. It should note that smog services start at 9. What I didn't hear at this point was " really, I was not aware and I will be sure to forward that information and see if I can get that changed". What I did get was "there are allot of things on the internet". I don't believe that way of customer service experience can be found anywhere in any manager training manual nor would they speak that way to a friend or family member. The same manager was talking loud and customers could hear him to staff about there schedule and stating things like "you need to" and "that's not going to work". Customers do not want to hear internal business conversations between management and staff. Regardless, maybe be just a bad day, I give 2 stars as this has been the first bad experience I have had and all in all they do good work. A second bad experience and I will take my business elsewhere. read more

This place has horrible customer service and poor training for their staff. They broke my truck and offered no help in fixing it. They left me unattended in their shop to fix what they broke. They offered no solutions for the damage they created and cost me more money than I needed to spend because of the repairs I must now have done. read more

This is my second time here. It was pretty busy when I came in but I wasn't forgotten the cashier checked up on me once I got to the lobby. The tech that helped me out at my first visits helped me out this recent time again I don't remember his name but he had glasses. He was very nice went over everything he did in my oil change suggested a couple services I should look into doing in the near future and looked up quotes for me and wasn't pushy about it! I had a coupon for a conventional oil change not the high mileage oil change that I did but they still honored a discount. Customer service is good and crew so far seem genuine not like some other places that try to upsell you and make you believe you need things you don't. So far I'm happy with my two experiences here. I took my car in for an oil change. The staff was friendly and I thought the experience was pleasant. They were extremely fast even though they quoted 25 minutes they were done in 5. After leaving the shop I noticed they screwed up the alignment of my car. Before I brought it in the alignment was as perfect as it could be. After I left my car would immediately start drifting right when my hand was off the steering wheel. I also noticed my car was dripping oil and my car is a new luxury vehicle that had never had this issue before. I brought my own oil in and they changed it for me for $25. This was a huge mistake. I ended up taking my car to the dealer to fix the alignment and inspect the car. This cost a lot more than it would have if I just took my car to the dealer in the first place and got a full synthetic oil change. I would never take my car back to this place again even if they did the work for free. read more

I started going here for oil changes and the first couple of times it was fine. Then each time I came in, about every 5000 miles, they would find a new problem with my car that had to be fixed right then and there. They were various problems. Each time it would be several hundred dollars. They told me get would give me a discount. Even with the discounts, it was still extremely expensive. Eventually, they told me the plug in the oil pan had stripped. So, we got a new plug. Then they told me it wasn't just the plug that had stripped but also the oil pan. They are supposed to put the plug in by hand so it doesn't tighten too much and strip. They had told me it was put in by hand. When we asked them to show us, not only was the plug so tight that they had to use a machine to remove it, but we also saw that the oil pan was bent pretty badly. This is the only place that had ever worked on my car. Now I have a $700 bill to take my car somewhere else to replace both the plug and oil pan. They also claimed that they had warned me that the plug needed to be replaced soon. This is not true. I did not know about the problem until my car was not drivable. They said that because they had "warned me", they were not responsible for the damage done to my car. They are refusing to pay to replace the damage parts. DO NOT TRUST THEM! read more

If you need a quick oil change done right these guys will do a great job. They also do some repairs and have always fixed it the first time. Seem to be honest and straightforward. I don't know if they'd like me giving this info out but one time after dropping my car off to get the oil changed they let me borrow their truck to go and get something for lunch. Let's just say I don't like paying 130$ for a oil change. They thought the oil filter housing was a bit tight and thought they may break it taking it off. They said maybe it will be ok but let them know if they can try taking it off. I said go ahead because it has to come off. Next thing I know I was showed the old one that was a little damaged but useable. They said they already have the new one on and can use it next time. . I also should add that the glove box won't close now because if something they did. He said he had to remove the glove box to check the cabin filter. read more

I've come here for my last few oil changes after being ripped off at a big chain place in town. Half the price, 20-30 minute wait, and no hard sell like the "other guys" for things you don't need. I wouldn't come here for repairs because I just don't get the feeling they're especially knowledgeable, but coming here for oil changes is fine. read more

I brought our cars in on two different occasions and was impressed with service technician Justin. He appeared to be helpful, knowledgable, and was not at all pushy about the recommended services. He showed me our cabin air filter and told me it was dirty, and I should think about replacing it. However, he also said that I could probably wait until the next oil change, depending on when I last replaced it. He understood that I needed to check with my significant other before incurring the additional cost. He said he'd put the filter back in, and it would not be a hassle to change if I got the thumbs up. He was very friendly, understanding, & not at all pushy. 5 stars for Justin. read more

Went to this location thinking it was just a speedy oil change that had cobranded with midas and I have a credit card from Midas so I decided to get my car serviced and just pay with my Midas card. After work was done and it was time to pay I tried to use the midas card and they said they can't honor the card because they arent primarily a Midas yet they're advertising only the midas sign claiming total car care.
