Love this place! The service is friendly and very timely since it is a very small operation. Hardly ever a wait. There are very few dry cleaners in this area, so this is a joy to me.Very inexpensive as well. The way they fold their shirts are amazing. My only issue of late is now they charge $1.00 if you use a debit card and only if your order is under $10.00. Watch their dry cleaning to get spots out.........not the best but I am a customer for life for "press only" and shirt laundry. read more

I took three coats there one time. Two of them were returned to me without the buttons. And the nicest one, a black coat, had not been cleaned at all. When I showed the dirty parts to the lady in charge, she said they don't dry clean there, that they send the dry cleaning pieces to a different place, and they had probably forgotten to put spot removal on it. I brought my 16 year old tailor made shirt, that has never been washed, in great condition. They absouletly demolished it. The shirt was dark blue when I gave it to them, it came back light with stains in it. To make it worse, they knew they messed up and hid the shirt to make sure I did see it, until I got home. read more

I was thoroughly pleased with the service I received here over the past three years living in Long Beach. The first time I came in, Laura took my information down and put me in the system. She never needed to ask my name again. Many times, she would even grab my clothes when she saw me parking and have them ready for me by the time I walked in. Although I'm not much for conversation, I would always see the staff engaged in conversation with any of their customers that were looking for it. Typically, I think it's a little unfair to rate someone when you haven't used their services. That said, that's precisely the problem; I attempted to go to Speedi's during my lunch hour yesterday. There were signs posted ALL OVER that said "open!" along with the sign posting their hours of business. All the lights were on inside.Not even an "out to lunch" sign. And yet the door was locked.....I stood outside for a few minutes, knocked on the door, waited.....nothing. I had to drag all my clothes back in the car and go around the corner to another dry cleaners I was hoping not to have to use. MEH! read more

I was next door at Soggy Dog when I noticed a new Dry cleaner had opened up. Luckily for me I had a few shirts with me I was going to drop off at another cleaner. After a couple days I came back to pick up my shirts and they were done perfectly. The only thing I don't like is they have posted a minimum $10 for credit cards which of course my order came out to $7.50 but they did not make a fuss and charged me $7.50 anyways. read more

We love this place, they are friendly and quick and always do a great job on my BF's suits and police academy uniforms. Twice I've called them in a panic at 6:50pm, 10 minutes before closing because I forgot to pick something that BF needed the next day and both times they have stayed open 5-10 minutes late to let me get there in time to pick up my items, great service if you ask me! read more

No don't do it! They young lady who helped me was extremely nice and I feel bad for writing this but it must be said. Upon receiving back my sweater it had more stains than when I originally handed it over. She cheerfully said they'd redo it. I then received a burnt wool sweater! A sewing repair on silkthe pajama pants fixed alright but upon receiving a new tear on the other side that I didn't notice until I got home. The fixed another seam on a pair of jeans ok. I really wanted to like Speedi's but often they are not open at 7am as advertised. Several times in the last two weeks I have gone there at 7:10am and the shop is still closed, no notes or anything. I unfortunately don't get home before they close in the evening so my only opportunity to see them is when I leave for work in the morning. My shirts were done ok and no real complaints about the actually cleaning part. Don't have enough shirts to last me to wait to do a drop off and pickup once a week on a Saturday. Maybe I need to get more shirts.... read more

I was a first time customer at this dry cleaners being new to Downtown not many options. Only took three items in so no big deal i thought, They lost my sweater. Which took a week to find. Only had a pin size stain on it. Not delivered when promised. Never called like promised when found. POor customer service, when I picked up the sweater she told me "Look no holes, no tears, no stains." Well better not be needless to say wont be back and I did not pay. Know she did not offer items for free. Nor did she offer a discount. I refused to pay. I would give them no stars if I could but it won't let me read more

Just moved to LB and dreaded finding a new cleaner but was presently surprised after giving this dry cleaner a try. They do a great job with my laundered dress shirts (i'm picky), are very friendly and reasonably priced. I rarely need my cleaning in a hurry so I cant speak to how "Speedi" they are but they always give me the option to have my order ready sooner if I like. read more

They destroyed my comforter. Don't go here. I took my comforter for my annual summer clean in August. They packaged it in a nice little bag for storage. Now that it's winter, I took the comforter out of the bag. My comforter was destroyed. The stuffing is bunched in the corners and it is flat. It looks like they washed it in water instead of dry cleaned it. Don't go here unless you want them to destroy your stuff. Bad bad bad!!!!! read more

This is the worst cleaners I have ever went to. I bought in some pants to be cleaned. When I got them back, they had a really bad odor. So I took the pants back. When I went to pick them up, the odor was still there. I could have worn those pants for 2 weeks straight and they would not have smelled that bad. The lady said they were using a new vendor, but this one was worst than the other one. The customer service is good, but you will be disappointed if you expect to get nice laundered stuff back. They messed up a couple of my pants with bleach stains. Believe me, don't spend your money here. You will be disappointed. read more

I recently took my dry cleaning and was surprised at how fast, clean and perfect my dry clean was!! Especially the employee i forgot her name but she answered all my questions and helped me with a button that was missing on my blouse. Will definitely be back. :) read more
