After years of being a loyal client at Oasis Car Wash in Santa Monica, I had a disappointing experience. That's when I stumbled upon Speedway and Filipe. Filipe is a friendly, professional, and punctual individual. He keeps me informed about my appointments with timely reminders and confirmations the day before. He's also very thorough in his cleaning and detailing of my cars. He spent just the right amount of time on washing, detailing, and drying both of my cars, which took just under 2.5 hours in total. Filipe stands out for his transparent pricing. Before he even met me or saw my cars, he was upfront about the cost. When I inquired about the cost, I only gave him a general description of my cars, like "Porsche Macan electric" and "Mercedes SUV," to avoid any potential price gouging due to the luxury vehicles and trims. Unlike some businesses that try to upsell services and overcharge clients, Filipe's pricing was honest, reasonable, and transparent from start to finish. The quote I received before meeting him was the price I paid after he finished washing both cars. It was a job well done. Let's compare the prices. With a 20% tip, the all-in price to wash the same cars Filipe washes would cost me $198 at Oasis ($65 Macan, $100 G wagon). Speedway and Filipe come to my home for $195. He washes both at the same time and it saves me from having to drive two cars separately to the car wash. When I paid Filipe, he didn't make me feel like I had to add a tip on top of the price I was quoted for ($195), but I did add a tip on top of the $195 ($35 tip). For me, it is worth paying a little more because it is convenient and Filipe runs his business well. Filipe also cleaned up all the water at the end to leave my space as tidy and clean as possible. For me, the convenience of having a mobile detailing and wash with someone who is reliable, honest, professional, and kind is worth every penny. Just a couple of days ago I was reading reviews about car detailers and came across these posts. Everyone seemed happy with the results so I gave Felipe a try. He came the next day and gave my car a complete aesthetic overhaul! It's the best detail I've experienced so far. Speedway and the owner Felipe is as good as they come when it comes to auto detailing. I used to live in the Bay Area and was a regular customer of AJs Auto Detailing. I was looking for a detailing service that provided the same level of quality cleaning and attention to detail. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get a proper detailing as I never found mobile detailing services that could match regular detailing shops. After spending a lot of time on yelp going through reviews, I decided to give Speedway a try. I could not be happier. Not only did I find a detailing shop that matches the best details I've had, but he comes to me! Felipe is simply the nicest guy you could meet and he truly cares about his work. To give you an idea of how much Felipe cares, I called him while the fires were raging and asked him to detail our two cars. He came by and started working, about 3 hours later, he was still working on our cars. Ash was falling on our cars continuously and he simply wasn't happy handing us the keys until they were spotless. Besides doing a great detail job, he has been responsive and very accomodating! He recently came out again on short notice and was very communicative about when he'd arrive and what his status was. To add to everything I mentioned, Speedway's prices are actually incredibly reasonable given the quality of the work. I've now setup regular washing service with Speedway. read more

He was honest and direct about his procedures and doesn't try to push any extra or unnecessary vehicle work. I had him detail my Audi S5, wash a Camry and Volvo SUV and they all looked fantastic. He was surprisingly fast as he washed them all himself. My car got stolen recently and, thankfully, the police found it about a week later. But the thieves hot boxed the entire week that they decided to "borrow" the car. The person who washed my car was very detail oriented and hard working. He got the smell out and then told me that we needed to keep the windows open as much as we could. Before calling Speedway, I research tons of solutions and found out that I could do the repair myself and it would be a very time consuming and risky task. I called Felipe only hoping for advice, and that is why he gave me. He did not talk me into his services, but explained to me the issue, gave me different thing I could try but offered to look at my car first and give me some product if it seemed like a task I could manage.
