I love Speedy Burrito! I started coming here when they first opened and were a small restaurant next to a gas station. They taught me that looks can be deceiving. Well they're still next to a gas station but they've expanded the restaurant and the good is still delicious. I toggle between the chicken nachos and the steak/chicken/pork tacos. Been wanting to try this place for a while but was a little skeptical... I was totally wrong. This place is awesome! I had a beef burrito, the husband had pork and they were amazing. The service was awesome- so friendly. And the meal was great- no wonder they had a line of cars almost around the building. Only complaint was that the tamales were a bit dry, but we're picky with our tamales and hard to please lol. Can't wait to go back and try more stuff off the menu. read more

Don't judge a book by its cover...because the inside is great! Speedy Burrito may look like a sketchy restaurant attached to a gas station to the plain eye, but the inside is very clean and modern. The employees are very friendly, and the food is fantastic! I ordered the chorizo nachos with avocado (no onions or jalapeños because I can't handle that much spice). I had plenty to eat, plus some leftover. This is very close to authentic Mexican food. Great for small groups or solo, but there isn't much parking so be prepared. They have a drive thru as well. I believe they have WiFi, but no one knew the password so that's my only grief. read more

my favorite cheap mexican food in barrow. they even have a drive thru which is awesome but takes a while. I only eat seafood and they have fish tacos but they won't let you add fish to a burrito even if you offer to pay extra, which is dumb but whatever! the toppings on the tacos are kinda plain and they charge you extra for a few sprigs of cilantro. they get annoyed when you ask what's on something. the chicken tacos have completely different toppings than the fish tacos so that's why i asked. they have a salsa bar with lots of options and that's pretty nice. their pico is very liquidy so make sure to use a fork to put it on your taco. make sure you specify corn or flour because my boyfriend got corn with his chicken tacos, and when I ordered fish tacos I expected corn but I got flour instead. not a bad thing, just something to remember if you're passionate about the corn vs flour debate. I don't like horchata but the people I went with said it's the best they've ever had. it's right next to a gas station so if you don't like their drink options, you can run next door while you wait. they also have non-meat tamales which is amazing and rare! when I quit eating pork & chicken I was extra sad about losing tamales. the staff is okay but they sometimes change their tone when you have a special request like adding something that you intend to pay for or by removing something you don't like that they will save a few cents on. almost every modification comes with a cost. i try to ignore the service when I go in because the food is great. winder doesn't have many non-chain mexican restaurants so I was really glad when they added speedy burrito. read more

We finally had a chance to stop in and try the food and we Love it! The tacos are delicious. Everything is cooked and prepared right in front of you. The menu has a large selection but not overwhelming. The service was quick and polite. The manager even gave us free churros to try and they're stuffed!!! Yum!
