Safelite AutoGlass was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I went online to schedule an appointment to have the back window replaced on a 2002 Subaru Outback wagon. All information required was entered and was never mentioned that it was out of stock. After 3 weeks of getting told it was out of stock and price would increase to get it from an Original Material Manufacturer (OEM). They recommended we search on our own with local businesses. Safelite was paid upfront when I scheduled appointment. Long story short: *Safelite $933.08. after 3 weeks (couldn't find back window) *Five J's Auto Salvage $100 (had a back window) *Speedy Glass $50 to install back window. (back window installed in 1 hour) Five J's and Speedy took 1 day!!! And I saved $783.08. THANK YOU! read more

I would just like to say that Jesse and his crew did a great job on fixing a crack in my windshield. I was there at 9 AM when the shop opened, and the technician was right on the job. I was in and out in under 30 minutes, and the chip in the windshield is difficult to find. read more

Everything about my windshield replacement experience was perfect-- the person I spoke with on the phone was very kind. We got disconnected while I was on hold with my insurance company and she texted to make sure everything was okay. I got an appointment for mobile service the next day. The technicians arrived at my home within the 3-hour service window and did quick, quality work (plus they were friendly and kind.) Lastly, they dealt with all the insurance reimbursement paperwork so it was hassle-free in every respect. These guys are top-notch and so helpful. I needed a quick 24-hour turn around on a windshield replacement. It was not simple because the car is a Subaru with "eye sight" cameras that need to be calibrated. Not only did they bend over backwards to get me in and out in 24-hours, but they were about half the price the dealership quoted. In addition, I gave them the wrong model and without even calling me they sent someone down to Albuquerque to exchange the glass for the right one. They did all this with a smile! read more

I have had 2 windshields replaced by this shop in Santa Fe in the last year, and I recommend that you avoid this shop. I was disappointed with my first windshield because of the dirt left on my dashboard and because a trim piece on the windshield frame flew off on the highway a month after the install. The second windshield was installed 1/4" too low in the opening resulting in a large unsightly gap at the top of the windshield (along with a unsightly gap at the base of the windshield). There was dirt on the dashboard and dirty fingerprints on my white headliner. What really pissed me off were the two knife cut marks (and a scratch) in the face of my dashboard! There is no repair for this and I see this damage every day. read more

Had a windshield chip from a rock on the 25. They got me in at 9:10am and I was dine and out by 10:30.:Affordable, good service, friendly and economical. This was our 4th time there. Our Honda took a rock to the windshield a day or two ago. We called Speedy Glass, got a good quote on replacement. They scheduled us in the following day for installation . One minor snag, the windshield that came in was damaged and our appointment was delayed by two hours, while they awaited a replacement. These guys saved the day for us today. Our car was broken into last night while we were staying at the Santa Fe Suites Hotel. Unfortunately the hotel management were not at all helpful & refused to let us stay in the room last check out while we waited for our car to be fixed. Tons of frustration over a simple windshield replacement. I arrived early for a morning appointment. I dropped it off, the guy seemed nice. I was told that it would be a quick replacement and that he would give me a call in about an hour. It was a hot day in Santa Fe, so I waited at Flying Star downtown, two hours passed with no call. I finally called them and was told that I could come back. I showed up and I was told to come back in about a half hour, that there had been a delay of some kind. I waited another hour and a half before coming back (again, no call). When I returned I was informed that they didn't have the glass that fit my vehicle. It was at this point I became irritated. I asked the guy why they told me everything was fine, made an appointment, and kept me there for hours when they didn't actually have the glass. I was wasn't offered any explanations, I was told to wait, as I did I heard the guy go back and yell at his staff. From their conversation it was clear that it was simply a matter of laziness and they were just now starting. It wasn't a busy day, they had two other cars in their garage, and all day I'd seen no one waiting. As I waited in their lobby, I saw them hurriedly install the windshield. He apologized and was polite but did nothing to resolve my problems all day long up until that moment. Don't waste your time, in fact, find someone who will come to you, it might save you the lazy attitude. read more

Horrible customer service. Had an appointment for first thing in the morning. Shop opens at 8am. Showed up and finally got into the building at 850 when someone showed up. Called corporate while I was waiting and they could not get the manager or anyone else on the phone. Wasn't offered any kind incentive for them being late. Didn't even get an apology from the employee for being late. I guess if you have an appointment with this company don't do one first thing in the morning because no one is on time and they don't appear to care about the customer. read more

Pretty awesome. I ended up inheriting my brother's car and had to pick it up from the impound with a broken drivers side window. I called around and was told from a few places the job would be about $250, which was fine, but none of them could do it that day, and I needed to leave town. When I called here, he said no problem, he'd have to get the glass and I could bring it by around 3:30 - it would cost $175. I dropped it off early around noon, thinking I'd come get it around 5, but was told the glass might be there early, and it might actually be done around 3 or 3:30. Schweet. Call came in at 3:27, car was done. When I came in to pick it up it took about 3 minutes, and they had unexpectedly cleaned most of the tape off that had held the plastic over the window in impound, plus vacuumed up all the glass. Hadn't expected that at all, had planned the carwash as my next stop. Friendly, fast, reasonable price, got it done - thanks guys! read more

Now, admittedly, I had a very minor crack in my windshield, but nevertheless, I couldn't have been happier with the service. I hadn't even gotten comfortable sitting in the waiting room chair when the guy came in and said "all done!" Total time, what, ten minutes or less. Insurance paid for the bill, which was about $50. Speedy Glass came through for me. Hopefully I will never have to use them ever again, not because they're not good, but because I don't like damage to my windshield! :-) read more

Choose Speedy! Here's why: We called three local auto glass companies, but only Speedy's called us back after telling us none of the auto parts stores in town carried our window regulator. With our back window slipping, we were desperate. They quoted us $35 to jam it in place. When we showed up, there was a shove, a tap, a jerk, and some stays inserted to keep it from falling, they sent us on our way free of charge. Great, helpful, and we could lock the car again. I can't explain how satisfied I've been with the work and service from speedy glass repair. I had a chip in my windshield repaired during the lunch hour within minutes.
