I'm still smiling while looking around at my newly cleaned house. Spekless did a PHENOMENAL JOB! I booked a between-tenant cleaning for the house I just moved into. There was a lot of build up mess from the previous tenants. Every inch of this house is now Spekless! All the corners with built up dirt, which I've been scared to tackle, are now completely clean. The built-up trash and recycling were also removed, something I didn't expect the team to do, but I was so relieved when I saw it. We had a laundry room that I barely stepped foot in because it was so dirty and now it's sparkling clean and all our detergents were organized. They were fast which was nice, but the quality was poor. I paid extra for a "deep clean" because I wanted to be certain everything would be dusted and the walls would be wiped down. They didn't dust on top of the vanity in the bathroom or the lights. They also missed the vents and around the molding in the house. Found some food still stuck on the stove and fingerprints on the microwave as well. Some stuff still stuck in the carpet as well. I would have just done it myself if I had known it wouldn't be thorough. Having paid extra for a deeper clean and blinds the whole experience was nearly $200, and I left an extra tip of $20 which apparently was no motivation to their employees to double check their work. Update- the second cleaning was nowhere as good as the first. They didn't spend as long. Overall it was just okay. They didn't have a working vacuum. They asked to use mine, which is fine, but it's battery powered and doesn't last very long. This meant that lots of stuff didn't get vacuumed. I think my biggest issue was when the manager text me to ask me how it went, I was honest about the issues. So what was the response? It was tell me that actually my basement wasn't included in the original quote, so that would be an extra $30. Well I thought their rates were a bit pricey anyway, but if they did a good job then I could deal with it, but now they are trying to nickel and dime me after I had a complaint?! No thanks. Received a quote from another company that was $50 less and included cleaning the basement. Will no longer be needing their services. read more
