Wow we were so pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Recommended by our hosts, we came here for dinner one night on a recent family trip. They have a small parking lot next to the building which is nice. They also have outdoor seating available too when the weather is good. It is BYOB which is great, so be sure to bring your favorite bottle(s). The food was incredible!! Everything we had was good but the standouts were the shrimp, saltimbocca, and cacio e Pepe. It would be great to come with a group and share a variety of dishes. Our service was also top notch. A very cozy but elegant atmosphere.

It's byob so that's a bonus. Our service was good but we were also there a bit before season. So when it's really crowded, who knows. The appetizers were good. And the food was pretty good. This is a me thing so take it for what it's worth. But I like my pasta really soft and I found the pasta here to be way undercooked for my liking. Again this is a personal issue.

Came here for Stone Harbor Restaurant Week and everything was fantastic from start to finish. We both went with the Prix Fixe meal of course. We got the Coda Suppli, gnocchi, sword fish, papa lina, longhots, and the limone ricotta. The coda suppli was an aracini filled with oxtail meat stew with rice. It was a very good savory flavor packed into that riceball. The gnocchi was a very cheesey and peppery flavor that we enjoyed. The swordfish was perfectly cooked and had excellent sauce alongside it. I did feel the portion on the swordfish entree was a little small, I think it could've used a side dish like veggies or something. It was a good meal all around. Even though it wasn't meant for us (since we didn't order that dish), we enjoyed watching the demonstration of the giant cheese bowl that was melted into a pasta dish. It was a fun distraction while waiting for our food. The prix fixe meal was a good value and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Was in Avalon/Stone Harbor for a wedding over the weekend and the rehearsal dinner was at Spiaggetta. We learned it was byob before arriving and the hosts of the dinner did provide beer and wine. There was a server tending the alcohol (pouring wine & opening beers) for guests as we walked in. We had the front right side of the restaurant reserved for our party. Throughout the night the servers were great and kept everything running smoothly despite our large group. I thought the appetizers that were provided were very good. The Antipasto plates displayed beautifully. The Bruschetta was toasted nicely but still was soft and easy to chew while the tomato mixture was fresh and refreshing. The Calamari was also fried nicely and was very tender, and I loved the marinara it was served with. The meatballs (made with pork, veal, & beef) were big and very flavorful. My favorite though was the Eggplant Rolatini which was lightly breaded and super cheesy. Everything we were served I'd order again although I'd love to try the Octopus, Suppli, and Long Hots. Maybe at my next visit! For dinner we were able to choose from Rigatoni, Salmon served with potatoes, and Chicken Parm served with pasta. My girlfriend and I love sharing so we can taste multiple dishes so we got the Chicken Parm and the Salmon. I wasn't crazy about the spaghetti, but the chicken cutlet was thin and perfectly fried. The Salmon was also cooked just how I like it; not overdone but the top was browned and a little crisp. The house-made cookies were also a big hit at our table and went perfectly with the decaf coffee I ordered to finish up the night. As I said earlier, the staff did a great job with us the entire night. The food was very good and so was our experience. It was a great way to start off the wedding weekend. If I'm back in the area I will definitely consider dining here again.

We dine at Spiaggetta every year when we visit Stone Harbor, and have never been disappointed. This year was no exception. I'm a Cacio e Pepe fan and last night we tried the tableside preparation. It's a wonderfully simple dish and when prepared properly can be exquisite. Just like Chef Marco's plate he put in front of us last night. We also had salmon, meatballs, spring salad, pasta bolognese and tiramisu. It was all superb! Our waiter Devin was terrific as well. Attentive and personable, he also enhanced the experience.

Glad we returned after all these years. The space is very open (and it appears they have additional tables upstairs) and the staff all very friendly. There were 4 adults and two children and we had all eaten a late lunch so we just were all going to have entrees. We had somewhat early dinner reservations because we didn't want to miss the Thanksgiving Day parade thru town. Even at this early hour, the restaurant filled up very quickly. The kids had a half portion of Spaghetti and Meatballs with the meatballs not only enormous but delicious. Two of us ordered the Veal Saltimbocca with prosciutto, sage and mozzarella in a white wine sauce, served with a side of pasta marinara. Very good. The Bronzino with Broccoli Rabe and mascarpone polenta was delicious as was the Pappardelle Rabbit Bolognese - braised rabbit ragout in homemade pasta. So before tip, the bill came to around $200. The appetizer menu alone is worth another visit. Remember - it's a BYO.

Service was efficient and they really try to move tables quickly. Antipasto appetizer had a nice variety, but they left off the vin cotto. Calamari was tasty. Entrees were good, especially the mushroom risotto. Prices are very high, but not out of line with other places in Avalon and Stone Harbor.

Appetizers were very good. Slow and innattentive service. Main course = hamburger helper and V8 with over cooked fish. Byob is a plus.

Not a huge deal but might be for others? Main issue that ruined the experience completely for us was the extremely obnoxious family that was sitting next to us. They said they are regulars and always sit in the outside corner by the shark. Very sweet and good kids twin boys and a girl. The kids were not the issue it was the two women who were extremely loud and obnoxious. No self or special awareness for the rest of the restaurant. Understandable that they are used to the corner themselves as "regulars" but in that case we should not have been seated 2 feet away from them when there were other open tables. They seemed like they were going to be leaving soon when we sat down so we didn't ask to move tables but they were there for our entire meal and proceeded to be passive aggressive to us when they left because they could tell we were uncomfortable and could barely even have our own conversation because they were practically screaming. Super rude and off putting. Sad that the other guests ruined the experience for us as it was very nice and pleasant after they left. Thanks for a great meal and the server was so great but sorry other guests caused a bad review :(

The decor inside has a lot of personality, it's like an Italian market and has nice music playing throughout the entire restaurant. We ordered the Clams Casino for appetizer and it was so delicious. It was crispy and savory; the perfect way to start the meal. I think it was my favorite dish we had. We also really liked the anchovies with the garlic sauce. Both had a strong flavor that really went well together. Our next visit, we came during the early bird special which is a great value by the way. Our server explained what comes in the early bird along with their other specials which was the Prime Rib that night (we didn't get that, but I saw it at another table, it looked mouthwatering good!). Two dishes stood out to me on our second visit: the Chicken Marsala and the Cannoli. The chicken marsala came in a very good portion, the chicken was cooked perfectly (soft and tender) with a very savory sauce. The cannoli which was complimentary with the early bird is shockingly one of the better cannolis I have had. Pretty much everything we got from Little Italy tasted great. The only dud for me is their salad. I'm personally not a fan of the complimentary salad unfortunately. I think the dressing is a little too strong but I seem to be in the minority reading the other reviews. Other than that, everything else is amazing. Even their complimentary bread/butter is good.

Was very much looking forward to celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary having raved to our friends how wonderful the food is at Santorini: their fresh, fish waxed poetic over the dish of feta&olives we while we decide what to order. Our waitress Shay, who was absolutely lovely, greeted us warmly. She offered us several choices of water & I chose the still. Not realizing at the time it was $7.95. A bit steep for water but my fault for not checking. I asked her if we could get a dish with feta cheese & olives. She went back to fetch our drinks, came back to say sorry no feta & olives are not available. They are only on the happy hour menu & can only be eaten at the bar. That seems just a bit silly as we were willing to pay for them. I didn't need a happy hour price, but that was the 1st refusal. We had questions on the menu many of their entrées either come over linguine or risotto. The risotto is the one thing that I have had there in the past that I did not care for. it is way too al dente for me. I was very much interested in what they called an asian sea bass special that came over linguine. I didn't want linguine I'm not a big pasta person. I asked her if they would be able to sub out the linguine for the roasted potatoes and add asparagus. she vehemently refused, said that there were absolutely no substitutions. one of the entrées that I was also considering was the short rib entree that came over truffle risotto. I told her that I did not like truffle, could I sub that for potatoes & asparagus, both of which are offered as sides. Also no. She said that we could only choose to not get risotto & pay for the additional sides. Which honestly seems kind of inflexible. Because of this instead of us getting entrées that were upwards of $42; I ended up ordering the crab and gnocchi. I've included a picture. It was utterly unremarkable. It is nothing that I would come back to this restaurant ever again to have. My Husband got the Bronzino which was also over $40 and came with no sides. While delicious, super pricey for just the fish alone. He was hungry so he ordered the Greek salad, also pictured. there was no lettuce in it whatsoever. It was just chopped cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese, doused in a lemon & olive oil oil dressing. While it was tasty it was not your typical Greek salad that we have had at other very good Greek restaurants like Estia. When My Husband unenrolled his silverware which was wrapped in their beautiful shade of blue napkin, a big spider popped out. My friend went to the ladies room and said there were Beetles drinking water in the bottom of the ladies room sink. I'd like to point out that Shay was very attentive & following kitchen/ mngt rules, but the lack of flexibility & the price point of the entrées was so disappointing that I don't think we'll be back. I'd much rather go to a restaurant that says oh you don't want the pasta & you want the potatoes not a problem or it might be a $5 charge to do that as opposed to a flat out refusal, which then turned us, I was going to order appetizers. I didn't. I was going to order the nicest piece of fish that I could have so I had a nice dinner & I didn't. For any haters who think we punished the server, our bill came to $190 we tipped her $50. I'd like to point out to the mngt. that perhaps your policy & the kitchen staff needs to consider being a little flexible from time to time, because quite frankly if I were Shay, I would look for work elsewhere as w/us she could've had a check well over $300 as we would've ordered drinks, appetizers & dessert/coffee. that was the plan. Instead, we were turned off & disappointed. We ended up going somewhere else for drinks & dessert because of our disappointment in the inflexibility of the restaurant. I have never been to a good Greek restaurant & been told they would not sell you a plate of feta cheese w/ olives. Also, no hummus. Most do complementary w/ bread, which is usually pita this was some soft, sweet yellow bread, which the men enjoyed I did not think it aligned with the Greek theme maybe that's just me. OverallI Shay paid the price as She could've had a higher tip with a bigger check. Friends who came with us who were also put off by the inflexibility ended up both ordering chicken Santorini. They said it was OK.Moral of the story: you cando better w/ other restaurants on the island or in CMCH. We were disappointed, we thought we were going to celebrate wi/ an amazing seafood dinner at one of my favorite spots on the island. We probably won't be back or reccomend after this.
